Hey K-pop fans! Get ready for a major blast from the past. The upcoming episode of tvN’s Amazing Saturday is set to feature a legendary reunion that we’ve been waiting for—the stars of I.O.I are back! In a newly released preview for the May 23, 2026 episode, Jeon Somi, Kim Sejeong, and Kim Sohye bring their chaotic energy to the studio, and the interactions are already gold.
The JYP Trainee “Beef”: Somi vs. Young K
The highlight of the teaser is the unexpected bickering between Jeon Somi and DAY6’s Young K. Having trained together during their JYP Entertainment days, the two share a long history that predates their debuts. Somi didn’t hold back, jokingly calling out Young K for not being “that funny” and occasionally “failing to read the room” back in the day. Not one to back down, Young K fired back with a witty retort about her “manners,” leaving the entire cast in stitches.
Episode Highlights & Cast Interactions
It wasn’t just Somi stealing the spotlight. Kim Sejeong revealed her inner fangirl for MMA fighter Kim Dong Hyun, while Kim Sohye impressed everyone with her high-octane passion during the lyric dictation games.
