Hrithik Roshan’s Storm on Prime Video Is His Most Personal Project Yet — Cast, Director & Everything We Know!

Hrithik Roshan has spent decades in front of the camera delivering some of Indian cinema’s most iconic performances. Now, for the first time, he steps behind it — as a producer — and the result is Storm, a high-stakes thriller drama headed to Prime Video that already has the industry buzzing. And judging by Hrithik’s deeply emotional Instagram post about it, this one is personal in a way few projects are.

Storm Prime Video — Key Series Info

What Is Storm About?

The Mumbai-based show, created and directed by Ajitpal Singh, is described as a “high-stakes thriller drama” with an interesting cast headlined by acclaimed Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad. Ajitpal Singh co-wrote the story with Francois Lunel and Swati Das.

The combination of Ajitpal Singh’s cinematic vision — he is acclaimed for his nuanced, human-centric storytelling — with a powerhouse female-led ensemble set against the backdrop of a Mumbai thriller is a genuinely exciting creative proposition. Parvathy Thiruvothu alone is one of the most respected acting talents across Indian cinema, and paired with the energy of Alaya F and the sharp comedic timing of Srishti Shrivastava, Storm could be one of Prime Video India’s strongest series of 2026. Hrithik’s Emotional Message About Storm

In his Instagram, Hrithik wrote: “It began years ago with a conversation with Ajitpal — a mind I truly admire for his clarity, his humanity, and his cinematic vision. Today, to see it come alive feels incredibly special. I’m proud of this show — not just for its nuanced writing or the way it has been brought to screen — but for the people behind it. These actors have inspired the actor in me to raise my own bar.”

He also wrote: “Eshaan, my brother — a silent warrior, a gentle giant, thank you for leading with such grace and strength. Ajitpal, my friend and collaborator — it’s been an honour walking this path with you. This is only the beginning. Thank you, Amazon, for the faith. Grateful. Humbled. Ready.” AsianWiki

The message makes it clear this is far more than a business venture — this is Hrithik genuinely pouring himself into a creative project as a producer for the very first time under HRX Films.
