Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India reported total sales of 476,000 units in July 2026, marking a 5.35% increase compared to 515,378 units sold in the same month last year, as first highlighted by Rushlane. Such impressive numbers don’t come easily in a competitive two-wheeler market, showcasing a well-rounded approach in both commuter and lifestyle segments. Domestic deliveries also hit 476,000 units, reflecting a modest rise of 2.17% from 466,331 units in July 2025. This stable domestic performance serves as a financial anchor for the company, while exciting plans for higher-margin products lie ahead. Honda 2W Sales July 2026: Domestic Footprint and Export Surges

Honda’s sales in July 2026 showed steady domestic demand during this mid-year period. However, the real story was in the export sector, which experienced a remarkable 35.58% increase. Overseas shipments reached 66,498 units in July 2026, a significant jump from the 49,047 units shipped a year earlier.

This export growth hints at a rising global demand for Honda‘s Indian-made motorcycles. In fact, total volumes also improved, rising by 2.77% compared to June 2026. Domestic sales increased by 1.60%, while exports surged 12.09% month-on-month. This synergy between local sales and international shipments lays a strong foundation for the rest of the fiscal year.

Fiscal Year YTD Momentum

Looking at the bigger picture, the April-to-July period of FY27 recorded total sales of 2,154,596 two-wheelers. That’s a solid 13.97% growth from the 1,890,530 units sold during the same months last year.

Domestic sales for this year-to-date period reached 1,889,975 units, which is an 11.48% increase from 1,695,324 units. Exports have been even more impressive, climbing 35.56% to 264,621 units compared to 195,206 units in FY26.

Pipeline of Upcoming Model Introductions

Aside from the impressive delivery numbers, Honda is gearing up to introduce a range of enthusiast-focused machines. Upcoming launches include the Honda ADV 160, which will bring small-displacement adventure styling to a broader audience.

Also joining the lineup is the Honda Rebel 300, tailored for entry-level cruiser fans who want a comfortable riding experience. Additionally, the Honda CB500 will make its debut, offering a middleweight option for riders making the switch from commuter bikes.

476k Domestic Sales / 35.58% Export Growth

How well Honda executes these upcoming launches will be key to capturing the premium lifestyle segment, where they’ve already excelled in the commuter scooter market. Buyers should keep an eye on pricing and localization strategies as these new motorcycles approach their showroom introductions.

The changes set for July 2026 are significant for anyone in the market for a new vehicle. While Tata hasn’t specified which models will see the biggest price increases, the 1.5% cap applies across the entire lineup.
