Google is changing its services icons one after another__TechnoSports.co.in

We all, whoever uses the internet, is somehow connected with Google. Commonly we can say, Google is a part of our daily life. So, it’s obvious there is hardly a person who doesn’t aware of the quad-color logo of Google. Apart from the logo, we all are connected with this company through its various services like Gmail, Drive, Calendar, PlayStore, Google Duo, Google Fit, and so on.

Don’t know whether you noticed or not, this Mountain View giant is replacing the app icons of its services slowly over a few months. It was started with the logo change of Google Photos. Now, currently, the list contains five to six applications. Apart from Google Photos, there are Google Calendar, Google Drive, Gmail, Google Fi, Google Meet, and obviously the Google Maps.

Surprise? You should. From the list, though, Google Maps’ icon change is a bit old news now, the rest of the other platform’s makeover is recent. Not sure about the Android 11 updates of these applications, but for the rest of the versions, the applications as not changed yet except Google Maps, Google Drive, and Google Photos. The changes in Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Meet are visible on the web version only.

It seems Google is trying to redesign all of its popular applications’ icons with the famous quad-color format. We have to see when these changes will reflect on the smartphone versions and also how many applications are yet to join this list.

Lastly, these changes are from the outside. We need to check further to confirm any internal changes are there or not.
