Hearthstone’s Azeroth’s Most Wanted: The Criminals Behind Your Favorite Cards Finally Get Their Origin Story

Every great villain has an arrest story, and Hearthstone just decided to tell them all at once. Escape from Violet Hold Class Set: Azeroth’s Most Wanted brings four brand-new Class Sets to the game — Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior — each one unpacking exactly how a legendary Azeroth criminal ended up behind bars in Dalaran’s most secure prison.

Azeroth : The Story Hook

The premise is simple but clever: these aren’t just new cards, they’re crime capers. Each class gets a narrative built around a specific bounty hunter-versus-criminal showdown, complete with mechanics that mirror the story being told.

What Each Class Set Brings

Why This Set Stands Out

What makes this drop interesting isn’t just the card power — it’s the storytelling. Mathias Shaw, leader of SI:7, makes his first-ever card appearance here, giving longtime World of Warcraft lore fans a reason to get excited even if they’ve never touched a Hearthstone deck before. Each Class Set ships with 7 unique cards (1 Legendary, 2 Epics, 2 Rares, 2 Commons), and with full playsets that’s 13 cards per set — 52 total across all four.

Players chasing the full collection can grab Class Sets individually or as a bundle, using either Gold or real money, though exact options will vary by region. For more breakdowns on card game releases and gaming news drops like this one, check out TechnoSports.

Should You Buy In?

If you’re a Rogue or Warlock main, the thematic mechanics alone might be worth the pickup — sneaking Imp-formants into an opponent’s deck or running a rigged trial is exactly the kind of flavor-meets-function design Hearthstone does well. Priest and Warrior players get equally strong hooks, whether you prefer relentless board resurrection or pirate-powered sieges.
