Halloween just got an early gift. Netflix has released the first trailer, key art, and a batch of first-look images for Season 2 of Haunted Hotel, the adult animated horror-comedy that quietly became one of the streamer’s sleeper hits. The new season checks in globally on October 9, and based on the trailer, the Freeling family’s problems at the Undervale are only getting started.

Created by Matt Roller — a veteran writer of Rick and Morty and Archer — the series follows single mom Katherine as she tries to turn her haunted hotel into an actual functioning business, “not just a building where dead people terrorize living people.” Season 2 throws new chaos her way, including a giant shark named Beluga, a cabin full of witches, and a multi-jawed subterranean beast.
