Set to premiere on July 25, 2026, the upcoming family romance drama starring Ha Seok Jin and Hani is shaping up to be the most emotionally resonant K-drama of the season.

What the New Posters Reveal?

The posters intentionally use a blurred focus to capture the emotions of both characters, who have lived in loneliness for a long time. Their images, with each character remaining alone in their respective spaces, simultaneously convey a sense of solitude and emptiness.

Kim Moo Jin leans back on a sofa, revealing a profound sense of loneliness, while the phrase “The first and last encounter that arrived by chance during cold and withered times” hints at the moment when a special connection enters a life that had once seemed devoid of color.

For Han Gyu Rim, the phrase “In a life where every 24 hours feels like homework, the first spark of desire feels unsettlingly ominous” captures the excitement that has entered her weary daily routine and the complicated emotions that come with it.

The production team described their vision perfectly: “Please look forward to seeing how the loneliness hidden behind the blur gradually transforms into warm comfort.” soompi

Ha Seok Jin is widely loved for his ability to portray emotionally layered, mature characters — and pairing him with Hani, who made a striking dramatic debut in Hit the Spot, creates a combination of restrained depth and natural expressiveness that this story demands.

Why “Love on the Menu” Could Be July’s Most Talked-About K-Drama?

It’s rare for a poster alone to communicate an entire emotional universe — but “Love on the Menu” has achieved exactly that. The deeply nuanced chemistry between Ha Seok Jin and Hani is expected to further enrich the poignant story of two people who have each endured long periods of loneliness. Add in a food-centred warmth, a broken families narrative, and a second-chance romance — and you have all the ingredients for a slow-burn K-drama that stays with you long after the credits roll. soompi
