GTA Online: Safehouse in the Hills Brings Luxury Mansions

Rockstar Games launched GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills on December 10, 2025, introducing luxury mansions for the first time, marking Michael De Santa’s return, and adding a powerful Mission Creator tool. The update represents one of the most ambitious expansions in GTA Online history.

Update Overview

Three Exclusive Mansion Properties

Prix Luxury Real Estate offers three customizable mansions in Los Santos’ most prestigious neighborhoods:

• Tongva Estate – Stellar Pacific Ocean views
• Richman Villa – Elite city location
• Vinewood Residence – Near the iconic Vinewood sign

Each mansion features sprawling grounds, breathtaking views, and premium amenities including private rooftop helipads, swimming pools, trophy cabinets, car podiums, vehicle workshops, armouries, and dog kennels. Players can customize exteriors and choose from three interior themes: San Andreas Coastal, Los Santos Loft, and Vinewood Regency.

AI Assistant Technology

Mansions include a state-of-the-art AI Assistant with three personality options (Angel, Haviland, and OG) that can:

• Temporarily boost business production speed
• Fast travel to all owned properties/businesses
• Organize mansion parties for social gatherings

Michael De Santa Returns

For the first time since GTA V‘s story mode, Michael De Santa and Amanda De Santa appear in new missions available to all players—no mansion purchase required. The update introduces fresh storylines disrupting plans for an autonomous surveillance state.

Mission Creator Tool

The robust Mission Creator empowers players to design custom missions with advanced props, objectives, and logic systems—one of the community’s most requested features finally realized.

New Vehicles & Features

The update adds upscale vehicles including new Hao’s Special Works compatible cars, drift variants, law enforcement vehicles, and a driverless taxi. GTA+ members get early access to the Vapid FMJ MK V until December 18.

Expanded Missile Lock-On Jammer compatibility now includes previously delisted vehicles and non-weaponized aircraft upgradeable at Agency mod shops and Hangar workshops.

• Patrick McReary now available by default for Casino Heists
• $500 bonus for rating community content
• Consolidated Odd Jobs map blip options
• Four new emotes/actions via Interaction Menu
• New Freemode robbery events for GTA$ and RP
