GTA VI Launch Trailer Is Out: Justice Score the Music, and an Official Album Is on the Way

Rockstar Games has released the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer, and this time the music is a headline act. The trailer features new music from the French electronic duo Justice, who Rockstar says are the composers behind the original score of Grand Theft Auto VI.

You can watch the official GTA VI Launch Trailer on YouTube. For more on the game, see our GTA VI coverage.

Quick Facts: GTA VI Launch Trailer and Album

“Flower in a Hurricane”: A Star-Studded Collaboration

The standout track is “Flower in a Hurricane.” It is credited to Justice and features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It also appears on the official soundtrack album.

An electronic duo plus a psychedelic-pop act, a chart-topping R&B star and a genre-bending rock band is an unusual lineup. Rockstar has built GTA’s identity around music for years, from in-game radio stations to the songs in its trailers, so this fits.

How to Pre-Save or Pre-Order the Album

Rockstar says Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is available to pre-save on all major music streaming services. Pre-saving adds the album to your library automatically on release day.

• Pre-save: use the official pre-save link.
• Vinyl or CD: pre-order at gtavi-thealbum.com.
• More music news: Rockstar will post updates at rockstargames.com/VI/music.

Use only these official links. Anything else claiming to sell the soundtrack could be a scam.

What Is Not Confirmed

Rockstar’s announcement does not say the following, so we are not guessing:

• The full track list of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album.
• The album’s release date.
• Prices for the vinyl and CD editions.
• Which songs will play on in-game radio stations.

We will update this article if Rockstar shares more.
