The gang has left New Jersey behind. Adam Sandler and the Happy Madison crew have moved the Grown Ups 3 shoot to Europe, and there’s a fun twist: Italy isn’t playing Italy.’

Turin Is the New Paris

Crews have spotted Sandler around Turin (Torino), in northern Italy’s Piedmont region. The city’s centre is being dressed up as the French capital. Filming uses landmarks like Via Roma and Piazza San Carlo, and the team also shot in Valle d’Aosta and Sardinia. Some cast members have reportedly been staying in Milan.

If you’re a fan of the original Grown Ups, the sequel looks like a bigger, sillier trip than the lake-house days.

Grown Ups 3 Plot: Meet Your French Doppelgängers

The official tagline promises “the ultimate adventure” now that the kids are grown. A casting call from earlier this year hints at the fun part. It asked for French-speaking actors in their late 50s and early 60s who resemble Sandler, Rock, James, Spade and Schneider. Expect the gang to run into their own lookalikes abroad.

Why It Matters?

Sequels often play it safe, but this one has a new setting, a new director and a fresh gag. Netflix hasn’t announced a release date yet, so treat 2027 as an informed guess rather than a promise.
