GOBOULT Ampvault V20 20000mAh Power Bank Review: Compact Powerhouse Under Rs. 1,000

The GOBOULT Ampvault V20 proves that massive battery capacity doesn’t require massive size or price. At just Rs. 999, this 20000mAh power bank delivers 3-4 full phone charges in a remarkably compact form factor, with the added convenience of 10-minute delivery through Swiggy Instamart. For budget-conscious users seeking reliable portable power, this is a compelling option.

GOBOULT Ampvault V20 20000mAh Power Bank: Quick Specifications

Design: Compact Marvel That Defies Expectations

The Ampvault V20’s most impressive achievement is fitting 20000mAh capacity into a form factor that genuinely feels pocket-friendly. Unlike bulky power banks that feel like carrying bricks, GOBOULT has engineered something remarkably slim and lightweight.

Pure Black Finish: The matte black exterior looks professional and resists fingerprints well. No flashy branding or unnecessary design elements—just clean, functional aesthetics that work anywhere from boardrooms to backpacks.

Portability Champion: The compact dimensions mean this power bank actually fits in:

• Jeans pockets (slightly snug but manageable)
• Jacket pockets (comfortable fit)
• Small crossbody bags
• Laptop bag side pockets
• Car door compartments

This isn’t just marketing speak—the V20 genuinely goes anywhere without the bulk typically associated with 20000mAh capacities.

The 10-Minute Delivery Game-Changer

Here’s where GOBOULT’s partnership with Swiggy Instamart becomes genuinely innovative. Your phone’s dying before an important meeting or long journey? Order the Ampvault V20 through Instamart and have it delivered in 10 minutes.

Real-World Scenario: Forgot to charge your power bank before a weekend trip? Realized mid-morning your phone won’t survive the workday? Emergency backup for an unexpected power outage? Instamart delivery transforms this from “plan ahead” purchase to “instant solution.”

This convenience factor adds genuine value beyond the product itself, especially in urban India where Swiggy Instamart operates extensively.

Charging Performance: 3-4 Cycles of Freedom

Real-World Capacity

The 20000mAh rating translates to practical, usable charges:

Typical Smartphone Charges (based on battery sizes):

• iPhone 14/15 (3279mAh): ~4.5 full charges
• Samsung Galaxy S24 (4000mAh): ~3.5 full charges
• OnePlus 12 (5400mAh): ~2.5 full charges
• Xiaomi 14 (4610mAh): ~3 full charges

The claimed 3-4 charge cycles holds true for most modern smartphones, providing multiple days of extended battery life or rescuing phones through long trips and power outages.

22.5W Fast Charging

The 22.5W output supports fast charging protocols for compatible devices. While not the absolute fastest (some flagships support 65W+), 22.5W represents the sweet spot for:

• iPhone fast charging: Charges to 50% in ~30 minutes
• Android mid-rangers: Significantly faster than standard 5W/10W charging
• Budget devices: Still benefits from improved charging speeds

Multiple Device Charging: With 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port, simultaneously charge three devices—phone, earbuds, and smartwatch—making it perfect for travelers or families.

Battery Life and Self-Charging

Usage Longevity

In real-world testing across several charge cycles, the V20 maintains consistent performance:

• Single user + smartphone: Lasts 4-5 days without recharging
• Heavy user scenario: 2-3 days with frequent top-ups
• Emergency backup: Weeks in standby for occasional use

Self-Charging Time

Using an 18W adapter, the power bank recharges fully in approximately 4-5 hours. Overnight charging or a workday on the desk brings it back to 100%, ready for the next adventure.

LED Indicators: Four LED lights clearly display remaining capacity, preventing unexpected dead battery scenarios.

Safety Features: Peace of Mind

GOBOULT includes essential protection mechanisms:

• Overcharge Protection: Prevents battery damage from prolonged charging
• Overcurrent Protection: Safeguards connected devices from power surges
• Short-Circuit Protection: Automatic shutdown in fault conditions
• Temperature Control: Prevents overheating during intensive charging

While these are standard features, their presence at the Rs. 999 price point isn’t guaranteed with all budget brands. GOBOULT delivers peace of mind alongside power.

Build Quality: Solid for the Price

The plastic construction feels sturdy without premium materials. No creaking, no flex, no cheap rattling—just dependable solidity. The Pure Black finish hides minor scratches well, maintaining a presentable appearance through daily use.

Durability Reality Check: This isn’t ruggedized military-grade construction, but it handles typical backpack jostling, pocket carrying, and desk drops without issues. Treat it reasonably, and it’ll serve reliably.

Value Proposition: Rs. 999 Sweet Spot

Let’s contextualize the Ampvault V20’s value:

What You Get: ✅ 20000mAh capacity (3-4 phone charges) ✅ 22.5W fast charging support ✅ Triple output ports (charge 3 devices) ✅ Compact, portable form factor ✅ Safety protection features ✅ LED battery indicators ✅ 10-minute delivery via Instamart

For Just Rs. 999

Competitive Landscape:

• Mi Power Bank 3i 20000mAh (~Rs. 1,799): Similar specs, higher price
• Ambrane 20000mAh (~Rs. 1,299): Less compact design
• Realme 20000mAh (~Rs. 1,499): Comparable but pricier
• Generic brands (~Rs. 700-800): Questionable reliability, no fast charging

The V20 undercuts established brands significantly while maintaining reliable performance and thoughtful design.
