“Fresh Off the Sea 3” Teaser: New Crew, Same Coastal Chaos

Summer just got a whole lot fresher. tvN’s variety hit “Fresh Off the Sea” is back for a third season, and its new teaser promises exactly the kind of scenic, food-filled chaos fans have come to love — this time with a brand-new crew joining the fun.

The show follows its cast as they travel along South Korea’s coastal regions for three days and two nights, soaking in scenic views while hunting down local delicacies unique to each stop. Yum Jung Ah returns as the sole veteran from previous seasons, joined by newcomers Kim Sun Young, Kang You Seok, and Roh Yoon Seo.

Fresh Off the Sea 3: Cast & Show Details

What the Teaser Reveals

The Episode 1 teaser opens with the four cast members riding a boat out to open sea, with Kang You Seok stepping into the captain role and energetically asking, “Shall we get going?” The rest of the crew cheers back, setting the tone for what’s billed as an “upgraded” season under the tagline: “Fresh Off the Sea has returned for a blue summer.”

Food, of course, remains a signature draw. The preview teases a serious haul of seasonal ingredients — sea squirts, eel, sea mustard, and garlic among them — hinting at large-scale fishing missions and plenty of authentic coastal life ahead.

Beyond the scenery and seafood, the teaser hints at genuinely fun cast chemistry. A playful bit sees Yum Jung Ah teasing a co-star for “just talking” instead of working, only to get an equally sharp comeback in return — a sign the show’s easy humor carries over nicely into this new lineup.

Variety shows built around travel and food have long been a staple of Korean television, and “Fresh Off the Sea” continues that tradition with its own coastal twist.
