Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 introduces extensive quest systems offering substantial XP rewards to help players progress through the battle pass. With slower progression compared to previous seasons, completing these quests efficiently becomes essential for unlocking premium cosmetics.
The Bride Quests: 10K XP Each
The Bride questline offers straightforward objectives worth 10,000 XP per completion. Start by visiting six named locations while driving vehicles—simply hop in cars briefly at each spot to register progress.
The challenging portion involves obtaining the Forsaken Vow Blade, an exceptionally rare weapon limited to two per match. Enter the Forsaken Vow Rift Gate (similar to Star Wars lightsaber portals) to receive the blade, then defeat Yuki and Gogo who spawn immediately after.
| Quest Type | XP Reward | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| The Bride Quests | 10,000 XP each | Medium-Hard |
| Weekly Highlights | 12,000 XP each | Easy-Medium |
| Battle Pass Quests | Varies | Medium |
| Bonus XP (every 3rd quest) | 25,000 XP | N/A |
Once you secure the blade, eliminate 10 opponents (NPCs count) and hit six enemies with the Vengeance Dash attack by using secondary fire while airborne. Purchase services from The Bride at Sandy Strip for 600 gold bars to complete this questline.
Weekly Highlights Quests: 12K XP Rewards
Each week adds six new quests worth 12,000 XP, with bonus 25,000 XP granted every third completion (available 12 times). Week 1 quests include traveling 500 distance with wingsuits and boosted vehicles, both easily completed in single matches.
Week 1 priorities: Outlast 40 players without storm damage, eliminate three opponents with Iron Pump Shotguns or Grenades, and break glass windows with pickaxes—all straightforward objectives requiring minimal effort.
Week 2 introduces tougher challenges like becoming a boss by collecting defeated boss tokens and destroying 15 props with explosives at movie sets like Sus Studios. According to guide, these quests provide essential XP boosts for battle pass progression.
Battle Pass Character Quests
This season features unique questlines for Cat Holloway, Carter Wu, and Dark Voyager, each requiring specific game modes. Cat Holloway’s Media Blitz styles unlock through Blitz Royale challenges requiring seven total quests completed in batches.
Batch 1 highlights: Emote at named locations across three matches, collect exotic/mythic weapons from eliminated players, and enter rifts within 10 seconds of damaging enemies.
Batch 2 challenges: Maintain four different item rarities simultaneously, deal 1,500 damage with mythics/exotics within 15 meters, and land 10 headshots from elevated positions using Epic+ weapons.
The final quest demands a Victory Royale in Blitz Royale, achievable for skilled players within 2-3 hours of focused gameplay.
XP Optimization Strategy
Maximize efficiency by combining multiple quest objectives per match. For Fortnite Chapter 7 players, prioritizing Weekly Highlights quests provides consistent XP gains while naturally progressing battle pass challenges.
Focus on vehicle-based quests early when fresh cars spawn across the map, then transition to combat objectives during mid-game encounters. Save difficult quests like Victory Royales for when you’re comfortable with seasonal weapon meta and map changes.
With these strategies, unlocking the coveted Dark Voyager skin becomes significantly more manageable despite this season’s reduced progression rates.
