Prepare yourself for a summer that will be epic! The second season of Fortnite Chapter 5 is coming to an end, and with it comes the exciting anticipation for seasons three.

While Epic Games remains tight-lipped about official details, leaks and rumors continue to circulate, painting a picture of a season filled with post apocalyptic thrills, swash-buckling adventures, and high-octane competition.

Season 3 Start Date and Downtime

Mark your calendars! It is expected that the second season of Chapter 5 will conclude on Friday, May 24th. In the normal fashion, Fortnite will probably be down for maintenance in the early morning hours of 4 am ET. It’s supposed to start a few hours later for season 3, though the exact timing may vary depending on unforeseen circumstances.

Fall Guys Integration: A Fun New Twist

The highly anticipated integration of Fall Guys is the most confirmed addition to season 3. This exciting development suggests that Fall Guys-themed experiences can be created in Fortnite, possibly as a playable UEFN, or that Fall Guys props can be used in the creative mode. In addition, there are indications that elements of the Battle Royale have been mixed in with Fall Guys.

Summer Blockbusters Inspire Epic Themes

Leaks offer a fascinating array of possibilities, beyond the formal announcements. The alleged 2024 Fortnite roadmap, which accurately predicted the Billie Eilish Fortnite Festival, hints at a Mad Max-inspired theme for Season 3. That’s perfectly in line with the release of Furiosa on May 24th, which is also a cause for speculation.

A Pirate’s Life for Me: Pirates of the Caribbean Collaboration?

A possible collaboration with the Pirates of the Caribbean during the summer season is also included in the leaked plan. That’s what fans are looking for, a long-rumored Jack Sparrow skin that could grace the Battle Pass of the third season as a bonus.

Fortnite Festival Season 4 Rocks with Metallica

Get ready to crank it up! Just a few weeks into Season 3, Fortnite Festival Season 4 is expected to launch on June 13th. Although details are vague, the roadmap shows that Metallica will be a featured artist in this musical season.

Rocket League Meets Rocket Racing?

Rocket Racing, Fortnite’s fast-paced racer, is gearing up for its next major content update. The alleged roadmap points towards a volcano theme, adding a fiery twist to the Neon Rush season. In addition, it is rumored that the SUV can be customized, in line with the current options for customization of sports cars. This functionality could potentially bridge the gap between Rocket Racing and battle royale, allowing players to bring their boxy Rocket League favorites into the fray.

Lego Summer Continues with Star Wars

There’s a thrilling Star Wars event going on in the summer season of Lego Fortnite. The Star Wars-themed Lego Pass and story content will run until late July, offering a delightful blend of building and battling within the beloved Lego universe.

Collaboration Candidates: My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen

While the Star Wars takeover dominates the current landscape, leaks have hinted at future collaborations with My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen. Considering Jujutsu Kaisen’s mini-pass event last summer, these popular anime series are prime contenders for Season 3 Collab’s, potentially arriving after the Star Wars craze subsides.
