Flex X Cop Is Back — And This Time, The Chaebol Detective Has Met His Match

Money can buy a lot of things, but not a partner who won’t put up with your nonsense. Flex X Cop 2 just dropped its latest teaser, and it confirms this season is going bigger, darker, and considerably more chaotic than the first.

What’s New This Season

Ahn Bo Hyun returns as Jin Yi Soo, the wealthy chaebol-turned-detective who solves crimes with cash and connections instead of conventional police work. His new partner, veteran detective Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae), isn’t impressed by his flashy methods — setting up a dynamic built on friction rather than easy chemistry. Adding to the tension is Yoo Seung Ho as the mysterious chaebol Yoo Sung Won, whose arrival promises fresh complications.

Why Season 2 Feels Different

Director Kim Jae Hong has promised episodes with noticeably bigger scale this time, built around cases that “only Jin Yi Soo can take on.” The new teaser leans harder into horror and mystery than the first season did, with a haunted-house serial killer case and an arts-school ghost story hinting at a tonal shift. The bomb plot targeting Jin Yi Soo himself also raises the personal stakes in a way Season 1 never did.
