What’s the Show About?

Fifties Professionals follows three middle-aged men — once elite in their respective fields — who end up exiled to the remote island of Yeongseon after a mysterious incident. A decade later, they find themselves dragged back into action on a bittersweet, comedic quest to uncover the truth about the fateful day that upended their lives.

Think sharp wit, hidden danger, and a conspiracy that runs deeper than anyone imagined.

What Happened Previously? (Spoilers)

The last episode delivered serious momentum. Jung Ho Myung (Shin Ha Kyun) and Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae) buried their long-standing rivalry and united to fight back against Han Kyung Wook. Meanwhile, Prosecutor Kang (Kim Shin Rok) moved closer to cracking the truth — uncovering evidence that Heaven Capital systematically seized land from Yeongseon Island residents as part of a massive conspiracy. The episode closed on a knife’s edge as the two men tracked down Boss Baek, the smuggling kingpin whose drug trade funds the powerful Ingu faction.

What’s Coming Next?

Newly released stills show Han Kyung Wook and Chairman Do locked in a tense face-off — before apparently joining forces with a dangerous plan. Their target: Kim Sun Joong, the leading presidential candidate. Their weapon: a coordinated smear campaign to paint him as a corrupt politician.

But the intrigue doesn’t stop there. Chairman Do is also seen toasting confidently with Geum Kang Sik (Lee Soon Won) — while a silent Yoo In Gu (Hyun Bong Sik) watches from a distance. Geum Kang Sik has been secretly feeding Chairman Do information about Yoo In Gu’s movements — and now the two are openly allied, raising one big question: has Chairman Do completely cut Yoo In Gu loose?

The shifting alliances and power plays are reaching a boiling point.
