Fauzi First Look: Prabhas Returns As A Blood-Soaked Soldier This December

Prabhas fans have been waiting a long time for this one, and the wait just got a release date. The makers of Fauzi dropped the film’s first look on July 16, and it’s unlike anything the Rebel Star has shown us in years — grim, battle-scarred, and unapologetically intense.

What The Poster Reveals

The image shows Prabhas seated on a rock in the middle of a battlefield, drenched in blood, gun in hand, surrounded by fallen soldiers in the pouring rain. The tagline, “A Battalion Who Fights Alone,” sets the tone instantly. Sharing it himself, Prabhas captioned the poster “अज्ञातपर्व ENDS. #Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026,” confirming the film’s worldwide theatrical release date.

Why This One Matters

Fauzi marks Prabhas’s return to a grand period epic after Baahubali, and the pairing with director Hanu Raghavapudi (known for the acclaimed Sita Ramam) has fans calling it a genuine “union of generations” in Telugu cinema. It also arrives at a pivotal moment: Prabhas started 2026 with The Raja Saab, which failed to connect with audiences despite a wide release, making Fauzi an important course-correction for one of Indian cinema’s highest-paid actors, who has been featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2015.

With Mythri Movie Makers — the studio behind the Pushpa franchise — backing the project, expectations for scale and box office impact are already sky-high.
