Ajay Devgn just rewrote his own record book. Drishyam: The Conclusion has wrapped its opening weekend with a worldwide haul of about Rs 266 crore, and its overseas collection alone is the biggest opening of his career. The film is also running at capacity in key markets, which could make the weekdays even stronger. For more box office coverage, keep following Technosports.

Drishyam: The Conclusion- A Career-Best Overseas Opening
The film earned about USD 1.95 million on Sunday overseas, which pushed its three-day international total to USD 6.10 million. That tops the USD 4.50 million opening of Singham Again, Devgn’s previous best. Combined with the Rs 208 crore gross from India, the worldwide weekend lands at roughly Rs 266 crore, which is also a record for the actor. You can read more about his career on Ajay Devgn’s Wikipedia page.

Sold Out in Many Places
One reason the numbers could grow is a capacity crunch. Most key locations ran at full capacity over the weekend, which means some audiences couldn’t get seats. Trade reports say that should create a spillover, with strong weekday collections as those viewers come back. In other words, the opening weekend may not have shown the film’s full pull.
What Comes Next?
Based on the weekend trend and the spillover, the film is expected to cruise past USD 10 million overseas, a first for Ajay Devgn. The next target is USD 15 million, which it seems well placed to reach, and USD 20 million may even be possible, although that will only become clear in the coming days. As always, these are trade estimates rather than certified accounts, so small revisions are likely. Want to see how the other releases are doing?
