Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions have unveiled the highly anticipated teaser for Do Deewane Seher Mein, marking the first on-screen pairing of Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur in a modern romantic drama. The teaser, released on January 19, 2026, introduces audiences to an imperfectly perfect love story set against the vibrant backdrop of Mumbai. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film promises a contemporary romance that feels nostalgic and intimate, featuring an iconic song from the 1977 classic Gharaonda. The chemistry between Chaturvedi and Thakur is instantly magnetic, showcasing playful scooter rides, spontaneous dance routines, and emotionally resonant moments that have audiences already anticipating the film’s February 20 theatrical release.

The Teaser’s Narrative and Visuals

The one-minute-four-second teaser opens with Siddhant Chaturvedi’s character Shashank, a simple and introverted young man, sitting nervously in an arranged marriage meeting at Mrunal Thakur’s character Roshni’s home. Roshni appears visibly unimpressed by the formal setup and her prospective groom, establishing an instant tension between contrasting personalities.

What begins as an awkward arranged marriage encounter transforms into a beautiful love story, with the couple experiencing sunshine-filled moments, misty hill scenes, and rain-soaked street encounters. The teaser showcases their chemistry through intimate moments including impromptu lunch dates, thrilling scooter rides, spontaneous dance routines, and an emotionally powerful rain scene that leaves audiences wanting more.

The Iconic Song: Do Deewane Seher Mein

The major USP of the film is its association with the timeless classic song “Do Deewane Seher Mein” from the 1977 film Gharaonda, sung by Bhupinder Singh and Runa Laila, composed by Jaidev, with lyrics by Gulzar. The teaser masterfully employs the original mellifluous voices of the legendary singers, maintaining the nostalgic essence while creating a modern romantic context.

The song’s theme of a young couple aspiring to build their tiny nest in a large city perfectly complements the film’s narrative about finding love amidst urban chaos. This musical choice anchors the film in cinematic heritage while simultaneously crafting a contemporary love story.
