Why This Show Matters for Anime Fans

Devil May Cry as a franchise has always been celebrated for its over-the-top stylish action and deep lore around the rivalry between Sparda’s twin sons. The anime adaptation, based on Capcom’s beloved video game series, returns with the same all-at-once 8-episode release format that made Season 1 such an easy binge, with both seasons carrying the chaotic energy fans expect from the IP.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of the games or a newcomer hooked by Season 1, this is one of the biggest anime drops of the week on Netflix — and the twin brothers’ battle for the fate of two worlds is well worth clearing your evening for.
