Crunchyroll Power Pass Launches at ₹1,274 With Comic Con India

Crunchyroll partnered with Comic Con India to launch the exclusive Crunchyroll Power Pass on January 27, 2026, offering anime fans a single-day Comic Con ticket bundled with an Annual Mega Fan Subscription for ₹1,274. Starting with Chennai Comic Con, the special offer provides access to Crunchyroll’s streaming service at ₹375 instead of the regular ₹475 annual price, available across upcoming events in Chennai, Kochi, Gurugram, Pune, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

Premium Anime Streaming Meets Live Events

The Crunchyroll Power Pass combines the best of both worlds for anime enthusiasts by bundling physical event access with year-long digital streaming. For ₹1,274, fans receive a single-day Comic Con Pass plus Crunchyroll’s Annual Mega Fan Subscription at a special discounted rate, representing significant savings compared to purchasing items separately.

Available Across Six Comic Con Cities

The Power Pass rolls out across Comic Con India’s multi-city season, enabling fans attending events in Chennai, Kochi, Gurugram, Pune, Kolkata, and Mumbai to access premium anime streaming for a full year alongside their live event experiences. The pass is available to both new and existing Crunchyroll subscribers, making it accessible to anime fans at different engagement levels.

The offer arrives strategically during a packed winter anime slate featuring highly anticipated titles including JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3, Frieren Season 2, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2, Trigun Stargaze, and more. This timing maximizes value for subscribers gaining access to premiere content throughout the year.

Crunchyroll’s Growing Comic Con Presence

Ahead of the Chennai launch, Crunchyroll successfully concluded its run at Jaipur Comic Con where fans experienced immersive anime activations and on-site engagements at the Crunchyroll booth. The large fan turnout demonstrated strong demand for anime-focused experiences within India’s growing pop culture festival circuit.

The partnership between Crunchyroll and Comic Con India strengthens connections between digital streaming platforms and physical fan communities. By offering bundled experiences through the Power Pass, both brands create value propositions that encourage deeper engagement with anime content across digital and live formats.

Expanding Anime’s Pop Culture Footprint

Crunchyroll positions itself as the global anime brand fueling fans’ love of anime with ambitions to make anime an even bigger part of pop culture. The company offers the ultimate anime experience through its premium streaming service featuring the largest dedicated anime library, immersive events, theatrical releases, games, merchandise, and timely news.

Anime streaming is accessible across territories through Crunchyroll whether on mobile devices, gaming consoles, big-screen devices at home, or desktops anywhere. The platform’s philosophy emphasizes that anime is for everyone, reflected in the Power Pass’s accessibility to both new and existing subscribers.

Crunchyroll operates as an independently operated joint venture between U.S.-based Sony Pictures Entertainment and Japan’s Aniplex Inc., a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc., both subsidiaries of Tokyo-based Sony Group. This corporate structure enables the platform to bridge Japanese anime production with global distribution and localization.

The Power Pass is available exclusively through District, Comic Con India’s official ticketing partner. Fans planning to attend any of the six participating Comic Con cities can secure their bundled access to both live events and year-long streaming through the District platform.
