The market is flooded with a lot of TWS earbuds and if you are someone who is looking for one premium option without burning your pockets, Boult Audio has brought you the Boult W40 Earbuds at ₹1,399, which could be a compelling option at this price range. It looks cool in this Berry Red color but you also have options of Khaki Green, Ivory White and Denim Blue as well, in terms of styling and looks this Boult TWS is a really good-looking one.

I have been using this TWS earbuds with this Berry Red color that kind of looks cool for over 2 weeks, you do get all the necessary thing along with the TWS earbuds in the package itself as you see. Here is a short and sound review for your reference:

Design and Looks

This Boult W40 TWS Earbuds as I already mentioned looks really upmarket considering its price, made up of plastic but its poppy colors are eye-catchy, the lid open instantly and has that subtle premiumness to it. Having a matte finish does help to keep the TWS away from scratches or fingerprints, also the TWS themselves are quite light and easy to wear, not the most comfortable in the ears but quite good for the price.

Audio Quality

The TWS earbuds from Boult features this 13mm drivers which promises great sound and much expectedly these are bass-heavy options. Most bass loving audience will find this Boult W40 comforting in terms of sound but I miss that soothing sound quality which many other premium TWS offers, now, it depends on anyone’s personal choice.

This one lacks that shrillness and accuracy but does well when it comes to high notes, paired with ENC, to some extent the outside noise gets eliminated. Also, if you are watching movies you will enjoy the driver’s loud outputs as you enjoy clear dialogues, overall, this Boult W40 is a nice budget option with decent sound quality, nothing extraordinary.

In terms of call quality and microphone, this one will not disappoint you because the mics are good and the person at the other end should hear you adequately whereas the sound output is loud enough to deal even outdoors.

Gaming & Connectivity

Advertised to be having 45ms low latency for gamers, the Boult W40 can get into this mode if tapped for four times but I didn’t notice a big difference when this mode was on and off, a good-to-have feature though. One of the most important thing on a TWS earbuds which is often overlooked is the connectivity option, it features the latest Bluetooth 5.3 for faster pairing and seamless connectivity. Also, the touch controls work great and you will have no issues changing tracks or using the other features.

Battery Life

Boult W40 is advertised to feature with up to 48 hours of battery life, which is anyways a big deal but does last around 24-30 hours which is still very high. You can charge once through the Type-C port and enjoy almost a full week of usage, at one charge the TWS buds can last up to 6 hours constantly which is a good deal.

Verdict – Should you buy the Boult W40?

Well, priced very aggressively, the Boult W40 at ₹1,399 is a nice option which is very functional for everyday listening, with most good-to-have features alongside good battery life and connectivity this TWS earbuds should suffice for most. However, focussed more on bass, you should avoid if you do not prefer loud music but overall as a package this one is a real value-for-money option.
