K-Pop’s Circle Big Certification Month: CORTIS, aespa, TWS, and More Rack Up Million and Platinum Awards

K-pop’s biggest names just got a fresh round of bragging rights. Circle Chart has rolled out its latest batch of official certifications, and the list reads like a who’s-who of this year’s biggest comebacks — led by a jaw-dropping double milestone for rookies CORTIS.

Circle Chart Certifications: Overview

The Standout: CORTIS Goes Double Million

CORTIS earned two separate certifications for their EP GREENGREEN — the regular version hit a double million certification for crossing 2 million copies sold, while the Weverse version landed a double platinum for surpassing 500,000 copies. It’s a massive showing for the group’s comeback and one of the stronger certification results of the year.

Triple Platinum Honors

aespa’s LEMONADE and TWS’s 2025 mini album play hard both crossed the 750,000-copy mark, earning triple platinum status — a strong signal of just how much staying power these releases have had with fans.

Double Platinum and Platinum Wins

BABYMONSTER picked up two certifications for CHOOM, with the regular version going double platinum and the Nemo version certified platinum. LE SSERAFIM’s PUREFLOW pt.1, ILLIT’s I’LL LIKE YOU, and AND2BLE’s Sequence 01: Curiosity all crossed 500,000 copies for double platinum honors as well.

Rounding out the platinum tier, ITZY’s Motto, ZEROBASEONE’s Ascend-, NMIXX’s Heavy Serenade, NCT’s Taeyong with WYLD, XLOV’s I,God, CRAVITY’s ReDeFINE, and the Weverse version of NewJeans’ Supernatural each surpassed 250,000 copies sold.

About the Certification System

This system, which is run by an organization similar to the RIAA in structure, was introduced in 2018 by the Korea Music Content Industry Association to standardize how album sales, downloads, and streaming numbers are recognized.
