Storage industry giants Western Digital’s brand SanDisk and Micron have set new standards at the Mobile World Congress 2019, Barcelona.
World’s first 1TB microSD cards get announced at one of the biggest show in the world. Well, honestly speaking with everyday use our storage demands have kept on rising.
With the advent of 4K videos, higher resolution images on smartphones as well as with heavy gaming apps, we are always hungry for storage. So, to bring an end to this, storage industry giants have introduced the tiny microSD cards with an unbelievable 1TB of storage.
Micron and Western Digital’s SanDisk brand have both launched UHS-I microSDXC products at the Mobile World Congress 2019. Here, Micron 1TB micro SD card claims the spot as the first while the 1TB Sandisk Extreme microSD card takes the crown for being the fastest.
Micron says that they are using quad-level cell (QLC) NAND in 96 layers. SanDisk did not really specify its chip design but can be guessed to be similar but they do claim higher overall speeds than Micron.
The new 1TB card from SanDisk will support read speed at 160MB per second and a write speed of 90MB per second. Meanwhile, Micron has managed a read speed of 100MB/s and 95MB/s write speed.
Both of the microSD cards meet the speed requirements for the A2 standard, meaning they’re suitable for running all kinds of applications.
The SanDisk card will be available from April for a hefty price of $449.99, which is highly premium as well as convenient. There’s also a new 512GB microSD card by SanDisk in the same line that will be sold for $199.99.

Kepa Arrizabalaga seemed to be struggling with his cramp but he refused to be substituted by Sarri in the second half of extra time of the EFL Cup final.
Manchester City has beaten Chelsea 4-3 on penalties and won the EFL Cup for the 2nd time in a row. But what should apart for Chelsea in yesterday’s final was not their defeat, but the incident involving Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and their manager Maurizio Sarri.
The incident happened in the last minutes of the second half of extra time. Kepa had already been already been treated for his cramp and he fell to the ground for the second time. It appeared that he was struggling with his cramp. Sarri prepared a substitution. He was going to bring in Willy Caballero for Kepa Arrizabalaga. But what happened after that was an incident which the football fans aren’t familiar with. It seemed that Kepa was refusing to be substituted. That left Sarri furious and he charged towards the tunnel before returning to the touchlines.
After the final whistle, both Kepa and Sarri attempted to play down the incident. They insisted that it was a misunderstanding between the player and the coaching staff.
Maurizio Sarri told to the news conference: “I think that, if you saw the match, you can understand very well that, today, the players played exactly the match we prepared yesterday. So, I think I am in control, fully in control of the situation. Now, I’d like to speak about something else, about our way of football today, because our way of football today was a little bit different from other matches.”
When asked if he felt Kepa showed him a lack of respect, Sarri said: “No, Kepa only said: ‘No, no, I’m very well and able to continue.’ He understood I wanted to change for an injury. He was only telling me his word, saying he was really very well. So, I think that, in 120 minutes, a discussion can happen with the players. I think we have to concentrate on football. Of course, I will speak to him. As I said before, he was right for his motivation. But not for the conduct.”
Sarri also denied that the incident affected the Chelsea players ahead of the penalty shoot-out, saying: “No, I don’t think so, because the only nervous person was myself. I saw the players very quiet and calm. We had prepared [for a shoot-out], but it’s useless because it’s very easy to kick a penalty in the training ground. Then, after 20 hours, you have to kick a penalty here with 80,000 people, and millions watching on television. So, it’s really different. It’s not a question of technical ability. But more the mind, I think.”
Kepa Arrizabalaga spoke to the reporters after the match. He said that he felt the matter had got out of hand on social media and in television coverage and stressed that he was not trying to defy his head coach. Kepa told: “Well, first of all, I have to say it was misunderstood. In no moment was it my intention to disobey, or anything like that with the boss. It was two or three minutes of confusion until the medics got to the bench, and they explained everything well. This was nothing to do with the problems I had this week, with [my hamstring], it wasn’t that. And, well, it was misunderstood. Because he thought I couldn’t continue, and – fundamentally – I was trying to say that, physically, I was fine.”
Kepa further added: “I know if you see it from outside, I don’t know how it went out, it is not the best image. I have spoken with the boss. I think it was misunderstood. I understand that on television, on social media, they’re talking about this but I am here to explain it, to say that it wasn’t my intention to go against the manager. We have spoken now, and I was only trying to say I’m fine. He thought I wasn’t fine. It was in tense moments, with a lot happening. I thought the bench felt I couldn’t continue, because it was the second time I’d gone to ground. It was extra time. We’d run a lot, so [going to ground] was also a way of stopping the match. We’d had a few moments suffering, defending, so it was to stop the match and for the team to draw breath and not a moment where I was saying I couldn’t continue. It wasn’t that I was refusing to be substituted, it was a way of trying to tell the bench that I was fine.”
Kepa then released a statement via Twitter to underline his version of events, saying: “I regret how the end of the match has been portrayed. At no time has it been my intention to disobey the coach or any of his decisions. I think everything has been misunderstood in the heat of the final part of a match for a title. The coach thought I was not in a position to play on and my intention was to express that I was in good condition to continue helping the team, while the docs that had treated me arrived at the bench to give the message. I feel the image that has been portrayed was not my intention. I have full respect for the coach and his authority.”
Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri is now under pressure after heavy Premier League defeats to City and Bournemouth and a FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester United and now an EFL Cup final loss to Manchester City. Sarri said: “I don’t know; you’ll have to use your phone and ask the club. I can say my opinion, but I don’t know. But today I’m really very happy because my feeling is that we are improving. We are improving because we could become a very solid team, I think. We conceded nothing to Manchester City, and that’s not really very easy. They’re very dangerous in the attacking phase and usually score a lot. So, I’m happy with the performance, and I saw the match on the pitch that I prepared yesterday. So, for a coach, it’s a very important thing.”

Apart from unveiling the GTX 1660 Ti, NVIDIA also refreshes their laptop graphics lineup with GeForce MX250 and GeForce MX230
NVIDIA has been aggressive with their Ray Tracing throughout 2018 and also started this year with the new RTX 20 series Mobile GPUs and with the RTX 2060 GPU.
Now they are turning their attention to the lower end mobile GPUs, specifically to their MX series laptop GPUs. So, recently NVIDIA has announced the successor to their much successful MX130 and M150 GPUs for thin and light laptops.
The new GeForce MX230 and MX250 GPUs are intended to deliver better graphics power than the current iGPUs offered by Intel. The older gen GPUs by NVIDIA were getting a bit outdated especially when powerful iGPUs by AMD are ruling the market and serving enough juice to run games on it easily.
Though these GPUs are faster and better but not as powerful as the GeForce GTX 1050 and GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPUs. Both of the new GPUs work seamlessly with NVIDIA’s Optimus technology to provide you with the perfect balance between long battery life and performance.
Unlike NVIDIA’s new recent GPUs, this one is based on the same Pascal architecture, and has NVIDIA’s CUDA technology to tackle demanding tasks, everyday work, basic video editing and entry level gaming.
Well, NVIDIA has not yet released any official specifications regarding the core counts, clock speeds, or memory configurations. But to show the performance improvements, NVIDIA has claimed of 3.5X and 2.6X improvements for the two new GPUs respectively (MX250 and MX230) compared to Intel’s UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU, as tested on a Core i5-8265U CPU.
The GPUs will also have support for DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 1.2. NVIDIA also confirmed of the PCIe 3.0 interface and will support same old GDDR5 memory.
NVIDIA’s Optimus technology will allow laptops to switch between their integrated and discrete GPUs easily. The two new GPUs will most likely begin to show up in laptops soon, as NVIDIA has just made both the MX230 and MX250 public.
Both the GeForce MX250 and GeForce MX230 will compete against AMD’s integrated Radeon Vega GPUs, which are powerful enough for basic gaming as well content creation.
How did you like the new GPUs by NVIDIA? Would you prefer them over Vega iGPU? Tell us in the comments below… 🙂
The two Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool will face each other today at Old Trafford. Let’s see what the two managers have to say about the clash!
Liverpool have last won the Premier League in 1990, decades ago. They have come close to winning the Premier League in recent years, notably in the 2013-14 season, where they eventually lost to Manchester City. This season Liverpool are once again the contenders of the Premier League and hope to win it this time after a gap of 29 years.
On the other hand, Manchester United have been the more successful side in the last decades, among the two. They have dominated since 1992. But the 13 times Premier League champions have not won the league since 2012-13, which was Alex Ferguson’s last season at the helm of Manchester United.
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told reporters: “This year they are in the race, no question, and it looks like it’s going to be an exciting finish. It is difficult to win the league here. It is probably the toughest league to win and when you look at it there are only five or six teams that have won the Premier League. Leicester [City] did it – which was a miracle – before that Blackburn [Rovers] did it, but then there were a few big clubs that have won it. I’m sure Liverpool do feel under more pressure each season that goes by but we have to remember we’ve not won a title for a few years either. We need to get back to being involved, I wouldn’t like to see this club end up just being happy to be among the top four. If you aim too low and reach your targets then that’s more dangerous than aiming too high and missing them.”
If Manchester United defeats Liverpool today, that would be a huge blow for Liverpool’s title contention and Manchester City will get the advantage. But Solskjaer refused to help others other than Manchester United itself. He told: “Liverpool at Old Trafford is always the first game you look for on the fixture list. That’s the same every year but this feels even bigger because Liverpool are going for the title with City. I think the whole of Manchester will be supporting us but we won’t be trying to do anyone any favors except ourselves.”
Solskjaer has praised Paul Pogba for his leadership abilities and focus on the game. He has scored nine goals and provided six assists in all competitions since caretaker manager Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in December. Solskjaer added: “Paul is a leader in training, he is a leader in the dressing room. Players are allowed to be themselves and that’s my job as well – to allow that. He spends a lot of energy being a leader on and off the pitch. If you want the nice car, different haircut, that’s no problem. And you would be surprised by the number of minutes he’s played this season. Apart from David de Gea and maybe Nemanja Matic he has played the most minutes for us in the league even though there was a perception that Jose left him out all the time.”
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made clear that he wants all the three points from Old Trafford but also insisted that it won’t guarantee them the Premier League and a loss too would not deny them a chance at the Premier League. Klopp told reporters: “Would we like to win the game and go three points in front of City, of course we would. Would a victory over United be worth more than three points? No, because we still have to play Tottenham and Chelsea and other difficult teams before the end of the season. We actually have three big games this week and United is only one. After that we play Watford, who are a really good side and would be in the top six if they could be a little more consistent, then Everton away. If you are where we are, at or near the top of the table and going for the title, every single game is important. United look in great shape, Solskjaer has put them back on track and if we can go there and win it would be a tremendous result, but the three points would not be more significant than any others we might collect. If we can stay strong until the end of the season everything will be fine. We cannot allow ourselves to place too much importance on one result.”

The Liga leaders looked ready to stumble in Andalusia, so their star man delivered them the three points with a brilliant hat trick.
Barcelona went to one of the toughest stadiums in Europe and left with a 10-point lead at the top of the La Liga table thanks to an amazing 4-2 win against Sevilla. And there was also a hat-trick from Lionel Messi (50th career hat trick) against one of the best defensive teams in the league.
The first 20 minutes Barça had more of the possession as expected but they did absolutely nothing with it, while Sevilla looked well organized at the back, just waiting for the right opportunity to strike and score on the counter attacks.
And then they went on a very fast counter attack that ended with a nice pass from Ben Yedder and a smart finish from Jesús Navas. Barca replied quickly and that too came from Ivan Rakitic a great cross and a spectacular volley from Lionel Messi into the top corner.
Barça improved and started to press more after the goal while leaving spaces behind and were bound to concede again. Ter Stegen made that mistake by clearing very poorly, and Sevilla pounced by scoring their second goal by Gabriel Mecado converted from a cross by Pablo Sarabia.
Valverde made a double substitution at halftime, with Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembélé replacing Nélson Semedo and Arturo Vidal.
Barça looked better and were pressing the ball high up the pitch, forcing Sevilla into making worse passes and losing the ball in dangerous positions, and after that Barça equalized to another world class goal from Messi.
The visitors continued to attack after the equalizer as they tried to find a winner, so they brought Carles Aleñá off the bench to make the midfield more solid and free up Messi to focus solely on scoring the decisive goal. And the goal came when Aleñá’s shot which got deflected and into Messi’s feet, which he chipped over the keeper to make it 3-2 with five minutes to go.
Sevilla naturally sent everbody forward trying to find a late equalizer, but Ter Stegen and the Barça defense stayed solid. Then there was Luis Suárez to join the scoring party, after an amazing pass from Messi gave him all the time in the world to chip the keeper and make it 4-2.
The final whistle came to end an incredible second half and confirm a spectacular victory for the leaders. This was a champion’s win, and Messi is the GOAT.
Barcelona left Seville with all three points thanks to another hat-trick from captain Lionel Messi on Saturday. Lionel Messi once again haunted Sevilla as his hat-trick secured a 4-2 win at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday.
Chelsea have been banned from signing new players for the next two transfer windows, until July 2020, after being found guilty by FIFA of breaching regulations relating to the recruitment of minors.
Chelsea have been banned from the transfer market for two windows after Fifa found them guilty of a serious and systemic breach of the rules regarding their dealings with overseas players under the age of 18.
The Fifa statement says Chelsea have breached Article 19 on 29 separate occasions. Players under the age of 18 cannot sign for clubs in foreign countries unless their parents have emigrated for non-footballing reasons. Article 19 states that players between 16 and 18 from within the European Union are exempt from this rule.
Chelsea will now not be allowed to register players in the upcoming summer or next January (2020) and have also been fined £460,000 (€528,600).
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned the English club Chelsea FC and The Football Association for breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18. Read more on @FIFAcom ▶️ https://t.co/iTpcozM7Mz
It was revealed last month that Fifa had looked into more than 100 player cases at Chelsea and it emerged on Friday they had charged them with 92 breaches of article 19 alone – the most serious infringement relating to the registration of minors. Chelsea were found guilty in 29 of those cases.
“Chelsea FC categorically refutes [sic] the findings of the Fifa disciplinary committee and will therefore be appealing the decision,” the club said. “Initially, Chelsea FC was charged under Articles 19.1 and 19.3 in relation to 92 players. We welcome the fact that Fifa has accepted that there was no breach in relation to 63 of these players, but the club is extremely disappointed that Fifa has not accepted the club’s submissions in relation to the remaining 29 players. Chelsea FC acted in accordance with the relevant regulations.”
Chelsea completed the £58m signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund last month – he will join in the summer – and they took Gonzalo Higuaín on loan from Juventus until the end of the season, with options to extend the loan or sign him permanently this summer. The club have denied that the moves were in reaction to the threat of a transfer ban.
How will the transfer ban affect the players?
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are some of the third parties that could see their own plans disrupted if the ban does stand, while there are other clubs in a similar situation. Here, we take a look at the specific situations of several of the club’s key players.
Eden Hazard The Belgian captain announced recently that he had made a decision on his future, after being long linked with a transfer to Real Madrid. But his situation may now change. With Hazard heading towards the last year of his Chelsea contract, Maurizio Sarri has indicated the issue needs to be resolved sooner rather than later, but the transfer ban will complicate matters. Hazard’s contract runs to 2020 and there was a chance he could be sold this summer, but Chelsea may now shut the exit door since they wouldn’t be able to replace him. This, though, could see him depart as a free agent in the summer of 2020.
Alvaro Morata The Spanish is striker is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid but his rights still belong to Chelsea. If Chelsea cannot sign a striker until the end of the 2019-20 season, Morata may once more become an option for the Blues. There is a clause in his contract that would allow the Blues to recall him this June.
Gonzalo Higuain The Argentina striker is seemingly not required in Turin after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus will want to cash in on the 31-year-old while they can. If Chelsea activate the purchase option, this would be viewed by FIFA as a new transfer. If the transfer ban is applied before the Blues can extend the striker’s contract then he would have to return to Juventus, so Chelsea are expected to ask for a provisional suspension of the sanction. And if Chelsea cannot buy the striker, someone else surely will be tempted by his prolific record.
Mateo Kovacic Kovacic’s rights belong to Real Madrid, but he is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge. Kovacic has spoken warmly of a possible permanent move to Chelsea and a transfer for the Croatia international seemed likely, but that now seems impossible given their transfer ban.
Christian Pulisic The American international will be able to join Chelsea despite this transfer ban. He signed with Chelsea in January. He is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund. And when that loan finishes at the end of this season, he can move to Stamford Bridge without any issues.
Callum Hudson-Odoi Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich – who need long-term replacements for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery – will likely return with bids for Hudson-Odoi when the transfer window reopens, but regardless of how large the fee on offer gets, Chelsea may prefer to keep Hudson-Odoi and risk losing him for nothing in 2020.
David Luiz, Olivier Giroud, Gary Cahill and Willy Caballero‘s contracts expire in the summer, but the contracts can be renewed if the club desires.

Intel’s new Pentium CPUs with up to 4GHz clock speed is the answer to AMD’s successful Athlon 200GE APU
Starting 2019 with the announcement of new 9th gen CPUs Intel spread out a lot of positivity with its customers. They also unveiled their upcoming 10nm Icelake CPUs and promised to bring it this year.
Apart from all this, one thing that Intel forgot is that they failed to satisfy its consumers at the budget segment. As we all know how costly Intel CPUs have become since the last quarter of 2018.
So, at this situation to keep withhold it’s slipping position against AMD, the blue team has decided to refresh its Pentium line of processors. Not any huge improvements but yes there are higher clock speeds along with hyperthreading.
Following the same “Tick-Tock” method of improvement, Intel this time is trying to be more aggressive by launching about 4 variants of Pentium processors and 3 variants of Celeron processors.
The top end variant in this massive lineup is the dual-core, four-threadPentium Gold G5620 processor with a clock speed of 4 GHz and a TDP of 65W.
On top of the budget flagship here’s the other processors that were listed by the European retailers:
Pentium G5420 with two cores, four threads and a clock speed of 3.8 GHz,
Pentium G5600T with two cores, four threads and a clock speed of 3.3 GHz,
Pentium G5420T with two cores, four threads and a clock speed of 3.2 GHz,
Celeron G4950 with two cores, two threads and a clock speed of 3.3 GHz
Celeron G4930 with two cores, two threads and a clock speed of 3.2 GHz
Celeron G4930T with two cores, two threads and a clock speed of 3.0 GHz
As for now there are no news about the cache memory or the iGPU of the chips. Though there are news about Intel’s recent struggles with the 14nm++ manufacturing process, so the availability of these chips is a bit unsure.
Well, there’s no word on the pricing however both Futureport (a Finnish retailer) and ISO-Datentechnik (Danish retailer) have listed these processors as releasing some time mid-March but without any pre-order price tag.
So, what do you think about the new Intel Pentium and Celeron processors? Excited? or will you go for the AMD Athlon 200GE? Tell us in the comments below…
