Bundesliga is the first major football league to resume the Coronavirus hit 2019-20 season. The season will resume on 16th May. The games will be played with a gap of 2-3 days.
The DFL have announced that they will introduce the rule that was set by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) last week which allows teams to make more changes during a game. They will permit up to 5 substitutions per game.
This new rule will help in protecting players from the increased injury rate due to playing every 2-3 days. The clubs can rotate the players more often thus decreasing workload.
The DFL said in a statement posted on their official website: “With a view to the game operations in the current 2019/20 season, the clubs have decided that the replacement contingent will be increased to five players per team in one match.”
“From now on, each club will have a total of three opportunities to exchange players during a game, including the half-time break. The DFL ‘Football Commission’ recommends that a maximum of two players being substituted at the same time.”

Back in December 2019, a Ryzen 3 4200G APU was spotted on SiSoft Sandra OpenCL listing, now again @_rogame has discovered an 8 core APU named AMD Ryzen 7 4700G. It seems surprising but 8 core can be true because the die size has shrunk considerably with 7 nm process.
This time AMD will most likely have all the Ryzen 3, 5 and 7 offerings on the APU front, the aforementioned Ryzen 7 4700G has 8 cores and 16 threads. It was seen paired with Radeon RX 5700 XT on Ashes of the Singularity benchmark where it scored 6,400 points on low 1080p settings.
The test benchmark also had 16 GB RAM which helped it to attain an average framerate of 65.6 FPS. A Zen 2-based APU will boost high performance on both CPU and GPU front which might feature 8 compute units (CUs) but the clock speeds remain unknown but might be similar to that of the Ryzen 9 4900HS with 1,750 MHz GPU clock speed.
Most users will use the APUs independently without any discrete GPU and if 3 GB VRAM is allocated from the 16 GB RAM then we might expect smooth 1080p gaming performance overall. Well, the TDP seems unclear but can remain the same as 65 W because of its efficiency.
The Red team’s Ryzen 4000U mobile processor series is quite impressive with its amazing efficiency as well as performance both on the CPU and GPU front. Last month we had a leak of the alleged Ryzen 9 4900U featuring 8-cores and 16-threads on UserBenchmark.
It then had a base clock speed of 1.8 GHz and a boost of up to 2.35 GHz, now a new leak uncovered by @TUM_APISAK states that the APU is real and does have a base clock of 1.8 GHz along with 4.3 GHz which is 100 MHz higher than the Ryzen 7 4800U.
The APU runs on an “AMD Majolica-RN” motherboard insipte of running on an “AMD Ted3-RN” motherboard. There’s no solid details about the number GPU cores and the TDP which is expected to be 15 W.
As AMD has Ryzen 9 H-series and HS-series processors, it is very likely to see a Ryzen 9 4900U as well for higher-end slim notebooks. It might be in works for AMD and as now not many notebooks with Ryzen 4000U APUs are there in market, with days eventually, we could see the Ryzen 9 as well to counter Intel.

Back on December 28, Indian prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi met the top executives of Apple, Samsung, and Lava. Besides, on the first day of April this year, a scheme called Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) was notified. This scheme is to gear up our domestic activities over the electronic products as well as to attract tech giants towards our country.
As a result, expected, Apple probably is trying to shift its a fifth of production from China to India. As per Economictimes, several meetings between top-ranking government officials and senior executives of Apple are going on from the past few months. Because of the shift, the local manufacturing revenue may go up to around $40 billion in the next five years. And If everything goes fine, Apple will be the largest exporter in our country.
A senior government official said, “We expectApple to produce up to $40 billion worth of smartphones, mostly for exports through its contract manufacturers Wistron and Foxconn, availing the benefits under the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme.”
Sad to inform, it seems the authority is facing some problem to take their steps. And that problem needs to be sorted out early. A person to ET said, “There are some problems with some of the clauses. For instance,valuing the entire plant and machineryalready in use in its plants across China and other places at 40% of that value and the extent of the business information sought under the scheme are some of the irritants.”
As per the PLI scheme I mentioned earlier, a company needs to manufacture phones worth $10 billion at least in phases between 2020 to 2025 to get the benefits. The Indian government expects to take the mobile export from $3 billion (2019-20) to $100 billion with the help of this PLI scheme.
Like other few countries, India also launched a contact tracing app called Aarogya Setu last month. This app launched on the 6th of April for both the Android and iOS platforms. It took only 13 days to cross 50 million downloads and in another 28 days, it crossed 100 million or 10 crore individual users.
The Indian government made this app available in eleven languages so that maximum Indians can use it and safety gets the priority, not the language. The Setu app contains a specially prepared set of questions. The analysis of the answers will help users to identify if his/her symptoms are of corona or not. Rather than providing a set of questions, this app also tracks your location through Bluetooth and GPS. The intention is to notify the presence of any corona patient near you. Though some experts have enough doubt about the security of the stored location related data. The government doesn’t make this app as open-source for the same reason.

The Italian league is on its way to resume the 2019-20 season. Serie A has been suspended since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. But now things are better, so the top-flight football is on the verge of resumption.
The clubs of Serie A have voted for the 2019/20 season to resume on 13th June. However, this proposal will have to be put to the Italian government, who must then give their approval in order to resume the league.
The Italian football association (FIGC) have also sent a request to UEFA to postpone the domestic season deadline from 3rd August to 14th August. It will give them more time to finish the 2019-20 season.
Serie A is following the example of Bundesliga, which is the first major European football league to resume their season this weekend behind closed doors.
Italy’s minister for sport Vincenzo Spadafora has also given the green light for Serie A clubs to resume group training sessions from Monday, 18th May. So things are going in the right direction. Hopefully, we can see the Serie A resume on 13th June as proposed.

The choice of using the 2nd gen mobile Ryzen APU seems strange but ultimately it can reduce prices as this is a Chromebook and doesn’t require the tremendous performance that the latest Ryzen 4000 mobile APUs offer.
The Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U features 4 cores and has a base clock speed of 2.1 GHz, the Chromebook has 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage. It also has a 11.6-inch display and the integrated Vega 8 graphics with 8 CUs is enough to handle graphical workloads.
According to the listing on AMD’s site, the Chromebook seems to have a starting price of US$303.99 but this might be the pricing of the original Chromebook C330 with a MediaTek 8173C processor. Even though AMD has made a mistake in listing but it is pretty clear that a Ryzen powered Chromebook will soon.
