The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 – worth buying?

Microsoft’s new Surface Go is available in India at just Rs.37,999 but is it worth buying over your everyday use laptop?

The Surface series by Microsoft has been quite successful from their point of view, and Microsoft is trying to expand its portfolio by implementing new devices.

The new Surface Go which was unveiled in 2018 has significantly attracted people a lot. In India, this device has landed last month and lots of speculations have already started due to the price of Rs.37,999.

Now, people may get crazy about this one but to be honest, “a high-end notebook in India” – does it make any sense? Also, who should actually buy this device?

Introducing Microsoft Surface Go

Ready. Set. Go. Our smallest, lightest Surface yet, the new 10″ Surface Go gives you laptop performance with tablet portability, adjustable built-in Kickstand, power to run day-to-day software like Office 365, and a stunning touchscreen. Just slip it in your bag, and Go. http://bit.ly/2NCbt6O

To make your doubts clear and pave a way to find what you should actually buy for your work, we have undoubtedly written this dediacted post.

Why did Microsoft make the Surface Go?

The answer to this question is very simple, as we know Surface products seems a lot more expensive and premium. So, to make something like the iPad but fuse in some compute abilities seems what Microsoft has tried to do with the Microsoft Go.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 - worth buying?

Also this is a break to company’s high-end laptops and people who are on budget can find this much more pleasing. This one originally costs around $399 in US and costs for Rs.37,999 in India, which is not at all in budget segment.

Specs:

The Surface Go packs a 10-inch HD LED Backlit PixelSense Display and has a kickstand integrated on to it. Surface Go’s design is quite similar to Surface Pro and bears a slim & elegant look.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 - worth buying?

Though it might have a small 10-inch display bears a resolution of 1800×1200 pixels, and the form factor makes it easier to carry it everywhere. The screen seems protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Surface Go is powered by the Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y fanless processor. It is a 2 core, 4 thread Kaby Lake chip that’s clocked at 1.6 GHz. It has 2MB of cache memory and has integrated Intel HD 615 graphics.

The base variant is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC on the other hand, the other variant has up to 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage. You also get the USB Type-C port for multi-purpose activity.

Also, the Surface Go has a 5 MP Front Camera and an 8 MP Autofocus Rear Camera. For security, we have a TPM 2.0 security chip and Windows Hello Face Sign-in options.

Price

The base variant of the Microsoft Surface Go with 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC will cost you Rs.37,999. The other variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD will cost you Rs.49,999.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 - worth buying?

Additionally, if you are going opt-in for the Surface Go Type Cover that has the keyboard, it will cost Rs.8,699 or for the Surface Go Signature Type Cover for Rs.11,799.

But the Flipkart combo offer with the Surface costs the Type Cover with Keyboard costs only Rs.4,697. Now, if you go for the Surface Pen, then it will cost you another Rs.8,990.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 - worth buying?

Why and who should buy?

As the name suggests, this Microsoft Go is ideal only for keeping it as an alternative for high-end users. But for those who need an everyday laptop for doing all kinds of heavy task on it, the Surface Go makes no sense.

It has only a 10-inch screen which is not great to do developing, editing and stuff. Well, writer or graphic illustrators can take advantage of this if the Type Cover is used along with the Surface Pen.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 - worth buying?

Being a dual-core processor, you cannot expect to perform amazing, but yes for daily task its good. For entertainment, the immersive screen with the comfortable hinge is good and coupled with stereo speakers it is a rightful choice for those who are seeking a tablet kind of thing.

The advantage of using the Microsoft Surface Go is that it’s powerful, beautiful and handy, its 0.52 kg weight makes it an ideal choice to carry around. For showing presentations, writing quick notes, watching movies this is an ideal choice.

But you should remember if you are a regular laptop user, this is not for you. This is an ideal second laptop and if you are prepared to spend Rs.42,696 along with keyboard & cover. And if you go with the Surface Pen then it will cost a total of around Rs.50k for the base variant.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is available at Rs.37,999 - worth buying?

After investing soo much it does not make any sense to buy it in a country like India. But if you need a second laptop just to carry and work casually on it then this might be the perfect choice for you. For students and child, this can be another good choice for parents to offer.

The Surface Go stands somewhat between the iPad and iPad Pro but does give that much battery life and productivity as much as the iPads give. But to be honest its a great product, somewhat futuristic but in India, it costs too much for an average customer to own it as a secondary laptop.

Cheteshwar Pujara & Mayank Agarwal take India to 303/4 on Day 1 in Sydney

Indian skipper won the toss and elected to bat first. Kl Rahul got a chance to play in the 4th test match in place of Rohit Sharma. Kohli reckoned that the pitch would get increasingly difficult for the batsmen as the match goes on and batting first was the best option. India is playing with 2 spinners Jadeja and Kuldeep and 2 pacers shami and Bumrah.

Cheteshwar Pujara’s unbeaten 130 and Mayank Agarwal’s 77 gave India a strong start in the fourth Test as they chase a historic series win.

Kl Rahul got out in the 2nd over giving an easy catch to Shaun Marsh. Pujara then came in and stood like a pillar infront of Australian bowlers. He and Agarwal ensured that Australia got only one wicket in that session.

India were 177/2 at tea after winning the toss and electing to bat first in Sydney. Opener Mayank Agarwal scored 77, which is his second half-century of the series. Agarwal was dismissed and rightly looked livid with himself for that. The partnership between him and Pujara was worth 116 runs.

Cheteshwar Pujara scored his 18 th test 100. It is his 3rd century in the series. He is still at the crease playing at 130. 4 wickets were down at the end of day 1. Kohli got out for 23 and Rahane for 18. The visitors lead the four-Test series 2-1 and are on the verge of creating history by winning a maiden Test series in Australia.

Redmi and Xiaomi will start working separately

Chinese giant Xiaomi is planning to make ‘Redmi’ as a sub-brand of it and planning to manufacture separate smartphones for its consumers

Xiaomi is well known for its bunch of products and yes for its smartphones and smart devices. Xiaomi has been ruling China and India already and also doing a great job significantly all over the world.

Xiaomi is well known to use the ‘Redmi’ variant of its products which most likely focus on the budget segment of smartphones. Redmi products are a huge hit when it comes to a budget-centric country like India.

Redmi and Xiaomi will start working separately

Sometimes people get confused about Mi products and Redmi ones, but most of the products are great ones, to be honest. Now, to make things simpler and futuristic, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that ‘Redmi’ and ‘Xiaomi’ will get separated for mutual benefit.

We know that Redmi smartphone series is the most popular ones by Xiaomi as they are budget-centric, on the other hand, Mi smartphones provide top-notch smartphones at some legitimate price point.

So, separating each other’s way of making products can help both them to bring some more quality in their smartphones in future. Now, Xiaomi being the parent will have both Redmi and Poco to be their sub-brands.

Redmi and Xiaomi will start working separately
  • Mi smartphones will focus on premium end devices
  • Redmi smartphones will be budget-centric and for wider audiences
  • Poco will somewhat be for those who want ‘affordable premium smartphones’

Like Oppo which stood to make Realme as its sub-brand later, Huawei who stood to make Honor as its sub-brand, and now Redmi and Xiaomi will get diverged to make a similar approach.

Redmi and Xiaomi will start working separately

On the other hand, Xiaomi has already announced that its current sub-brand will launch a new device in Bejing, China on the 10th of January 2019. In that event, Xiaomi will officially reveal Redmi to be its sub-brand.

As Xiaomi leaks say that the device will most likely be the Redmi 7 or Redmi Pro 2. The thing that has got confirmed that the device will bear a 48MP camera most likely with the Sony IMX 586 sensor which is seen in the new Honor View 20.

Chelsea sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for €64m

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Christian Pulisic will join Chelsea for €64m (£58m), with the United States forward to be loaned back to the Bundesliga leaders until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old moved to Germany as a teenager and has made more than 80 appearances for Dortmund. He admitted in November that he hoped to play in the Premier League having refused to sign an extension to his existing contract.

christian pulisic

“It was always Christian’s dream to play in the Premier League. That certainly has to do with his American background, and as a result we were unable to extend his contract,” Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told the club’s official website.

“Against this background, we have decided to accept an extremely lucrative bid by Chelsea, given the low contract maturity. Christian Pulisic is a character perfect player. I am sure that in the coming months he will do everything in his power to bring his high quality to the team and to achieve his sporting goals with his team-mates Borussia Dortmund.”

“In summer I move on to Chelsea and to a new competition, the English Premier League,” Pulisic told Chelsea’s official website. “It’s a privilege to have signed for such a legendary club and I look forward to working hard towards being a contributor to their team of world-class players.”

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia hailed Pulisic’s potential after the 20-year-old’s switch was agreed. “We are delighted to have signed one of Europe’s most sought-after young players,” she said in a club statement.

christian pulisic

“Christian has shown his quality during a fantastic spell in Germany and at just 20, we believe he has the potential to become an important Chelsea player for many years to come. “We look forward to welcoming him to Stamford Bridge in the summer and wish him and Dortmund every success for the remainder of the season.”

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Qualcomm has already announced its fastest Snapdragon 8cx processor for compute platforms based on 7nm architecture… But why is it so special?

Mobile chip manufacturer Qualcomm is well known for its powerful mobile processors. From performance to graphics, from camera features to power efficiency, Snapdragon chips have been way ahead of its competitors every time.

Powering the lower-end smartphones to the premium flagship devices, Snapdragon processors have been the powerhouse for billions of devices across the world. In 2018, we have seen the revolution of new age 7nm based architecture processors, from Huawei’s Kirin 980 to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855.

Mike Roberts on Twitter

We have been waiting to announce this product for 2 years! Purpose built for the PC. Introducing our most eXtreme Snapdragon. Ever. The @Qualcomm #Snapdragon 8cx. #SnapdragonSummit https://t.co/eMgLg9Nnsy

Apart from unveiling the new Snapdragon 855, Qualcomm also unveiled its new age ‘X’ series mobile processors. The “X” stands for “extreme”. This is what the Qualcomm’s marketing department wants you to think about the new age 7nm based eight core Snapdragon 8cx processor.

The Snapdragon 8cx

This new chip is totally made to power laptops and 2-in-1 convertible PCs. The new fanless processor will directly compete with Intel’s Amber Lake and Whiskey lake series of processors. Physically also this chip is the largest processor the company has ever made, combining the most powerful CPU and GPU that Qualcomm has ever devised yet.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

The biggest highlight Qualcomm wants to give is to combine the specialities of both PC and smartphone and fuse it onto some laptop or convertible, making work and productivity much more simpler. This 8cx chip will give the best performance by Qualcomm that the company has ever achieved yet.

Another notable thing is the company’s promising “amazing battery life,” and up to 2Gbps cellular connectivity. So, Qualcomm is aiming for its vendors to make thin and light portable laptops that are powerful as well as more power efficient to increase your productivity.

You may still think this to be a dream, but its not, check out the total specs of the new Snapdragon 8cx mobile processor:

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Let’s talk about the processor in details:

Performance

The Snapdragon 8cx chip is the first independent product after a lot of effort by the mobile platform giant Qualcomm to produce a laptop chip, that has enough power as to take on Intel in the ultraportable space.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

The first 7nm process 64-bit CPU architecture laptop chip in the industry will have a lot of its own benefits and will use the same 8 basic processor cores – 4 x A76, 4 x A55, just like in the Snapdragon 855.

In this case, Kryo 495, as it’s called, is cranked up higher and has a lot of cache memory – a full 10MB between the L2, L3, and system cache. So, unlike its predecessor Snapdragon 850, which was previously used in Lenovo C630 WOS at IFA 2018, the 8cx chip dedicatedly made for full-fledged work on laptops.

Qualcomm even claims that it’s 8cx has a performance that is comparable to a 15-watt Intel U-series processor, the same you’ll find in most of today’s thin-and-light Windows laptops or covertibles.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?
The fact remains that Snapdragon 8cx is the first 7nm consumer end processor

Graphics

Coming to another essential part of the Snapdragon 8cx is its graphics which solely depends on the Adreno 680. Qualcomm even says that its new Adreno 680 Extreme GPU will be twice as fast as we have seen in the previous Snapdragon 850 for Windows laptops.

Laptops bearing this chip will able to host a display up to 4K HDR at 120FPS. Having the third-generation PCI-E, it can support two 4K HDR external monitors simultaneously, which is a huge upgrade from supporting only one monitor before. Also, you get the modern DirectX 12 API support for running modern games.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Flexible options & AI capabilities

The Snapdragon 8cx will support up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, with greater bandwidth and NVMe SSDs with higher speeds and UFS3.0 storage. Also, there’s the support for USB 3.1 Gen 2, that theoretically doubles the amount of data you can sling over your USB cables up to 10Gbps.

The processor will also be compatible with both Amazon’s Alexa and Microsoft’s Cortana voice assistants. Talking of AI, the chip has the Hexagon 685 DSP, and is equipped with a 4th-gen Qualcomm AI engine.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Battery life & Power consumption

Being built on 7nm architecture the key benefit that these processors will have is that they will consume only 7 Watt of power. Battery life will remain as Qualcomm’s major selling point.

They also expect that these machines will easily last people two full work days and then some on a charge. Also, there’s the support USB-C quick charging using Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+.

Alex Katouzian, senior VP and GM of mobile for Qualcomm Technologies in an official press statement said,

“With performance and battery life as our design tenets, we’re bringing 7nm innovations to the PC space, allowing for smartphone-like capabilities to transform the computing experience”

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Connectivity

The Snapdragon X24 LTE modem is used in this chipset same as in the Snapdragon 855, which enables 5G support but actually not without the
Qualcomm’s X50 5G modem. The Snapdragon 8cx aims for always-on and connected Windows 10 laptops and 2-in-1 convertibles.

The chip supports 4×4 MIMO antennas for LTE and Qualcomm promises speeds of up to 2 Gigabits via this modem. On the other hand, also there’s the support for Bluetooth 5.0.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?
The alleged demo laptop running on Windows 10 powered by Snapdragon 8cx

Audio & Camera

Qualcomm’s Aqstic audio technology that is integrated into this processor brings along a host of advanced audio codecs and voice software technologies – enabling multi-voice assistant support.

As this will be a hybrid kind of technology, you’ll also get the camera support for laptops as well. So, the chip will support:

Image Signal Processor: Dual 14-bit ISPs, Qualcomm Spectra™ 390 image signal processor

Megapixel Support: Up to 16 MP dual camera, Up to 32 MP single camera

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Qualcomm vs Intel & AMD

Qualcomm has also claimed in its unveiling that 8cx chip has performance that is comparable to a 15-watt Intel U-series processor, the same that you’ll find in most of today’s thin-and-light Windows-powered laptops or convertibles or even in MacBooks.

But the fact remains that the Qualcomm’s chip will draw less than half the electricity — only 7 watts. Coming to the sustained performance, Qualcomm expects its processor to be as fast as an Intel chip that has to do its everyday work within a thermal envelope of just 7 watts.

We know AMD is desperately working on their 7nm chips, which they will unveil soon next week, now it will be interesting to see how both of these chip manufacturers go head to head to reach the ultimate throne.

Well, to be honest, the Snapdragon 8cx is an interesting chip which has an aim to fuse the better offs of a smartphone into a Windows PC and make it an ultra-portable device for your everyday tasks. With this chip, Qualcomm is trying to push its limits and trying to make a new concept that might be something which we will see in our future.

Qualcomm and Microsoft are desperately working together and make a great product in future that supports a ton of apps to create a better ecosystem in future.

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Qualcomm also has assured that this chip will support Windows 10 Enterprise, coming to the browsers both the Chromium and Firefox web browsers will run natively including many more apps which will get ported over in coming days.

Here’s a screenshot of all the Windows supported apps that Snapdragon 8cx can handle with ease as of now:

Why the Snapdragon 8cx chip is so special?

Availability

Qualcomm has hinted that the partners are on board and has also assured that the first products will get launched in the second half of 2019 and start getting shipped somewhere in Q3 2019.

Truly, Qualcomm has showed off what they can really do and this time stunned all of the Silicon industry. Well, honestly speaking I’d love to see new gen laptops and convertibles that has double the power than normal ones and has much more battery life.

Also, it may happen with this chip laptop getting camera implementations as well and stay always connected with its inbuilt network connectivity options. Well, the future of computing seems pretty interesting… What do you think? Tell us in the comments… 😊

Alcatel Pop 4 – The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Looking for a good and productive tablet with great battery life and performance? Alcatel Pop 4 with Keyboard is all that you need

In today’s fast-moving era, we are surrounded by lots of gadgets and we totally depend on them to make our lives more productive as well as entertaining. So, having a tablet at home is always helpful for everyone.

In this 2018, we have seen a lot of tablets, most of them are great at their respective budgets. From Honor to Apple everyone has showcased their best ones out there. To be honest, we never thought to use tablets for productive work.

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Why Alcatel Pop 4?

As computing is getting smaller with days, we are getting higher performance in budget-centric tablets or iPads. Including a keyboard with a tablet makes it an ideal thing to keep it beside your main laptop or PC.

So, for watching movies, listening to songs, or typing out a quick mail or doc, all these seem pretty well if we have a tablet by our side and a good keyboard to attach with it. This concept is very unique as well as productive.

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Now Alcatel, who is known for its tablets, smartphone and other products, brought their new Pop 4 tablet with a keyboard attached. This fascinated me the most and I bought it as because of the keyboard that was given along with it.

Having a lot of tablets and laptops, I preferred to go for this newbie and found it very handy. After comparing with other products we from TechnoSports team decided Alcatel Pop 4 to be the Best Budget Tablet of 2018.

Specs of Alcatel Pop 4:

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard
  • Comes with NCERT books, reference books and solutions in major languages
  • Bluetooth keyboard makes it an easy-to-use mini notebook
  • Speakers backed by the Waves Maxx Audio technology
  • 2 GB RAM | 16 GB ROM | Expandable Up to 32 GB
  • 25.65 cm (10.1-inch) Full HD Display
  • 8 MP Primary Camera | 5 MP Front
  • Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
  • Battery: 5830 mAh Lithium Ion
  • Voice Call (Single Sim, LTE)
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa Core (MSM8937) Processor

Here’s the review as well as reasons that make this one the best at Rs.11,999:

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Display

It has 10.1-inch FHD IPS Display which crisp and colours seem bright, not the best one but yes best at its price. Having a great viewing angle, watch something from any angle seems great.

Though its bezels are fat, the accurate display makes you overlook that.

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Performance

The Alcatel Pop 4 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 under its hood that is not the best at the market, but it makes the tablet smooth and gets things done pretty well.

This tablet is made for productivity and not for gaming so do not expect to play heavy games on it. Accompanied with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, a fair amount of apps can readily be installed and used.

You can extend the storage with a microSD anytime you want. I have personally installed 50 apps but have faced no big issues except for some stutters occasionally.

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Battery

Coming to the most significant part of any tablet is its battery, this one has an impressive battery that lasts almost 2 full days of usage. With moderate usage, it can last for 3-4 days easily.

As because of the Snapdragon chip, it charges itself in 3-3.5 hours with a fast charger, which is good keeping in mind of the huge battery.

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Audio

Another important thing about any tablet is its speaker. Fortunately, the Alcatel Pop 4 bears a dual speaker at both the front end which is loud and clear, not the best at the market but sounds pretty soothing and accurate.

For listening to songs and watching movies this is very pleasant. Also is equipped with WAVES MaxxAudio, the tablet is pretty loud.

Camera

There’s a myth that Tablet cameras are the worst ones. But in this case, this is not, the rear camera is of 8MP, and the front is 5MP.

The rear cameras capture well during lighting conditions but seem horrible during low-light. On the other hand, the front camera is just ok, not the best and not the worst.

With a decent camera, you can take quick snaps while moving around and attend video calls with this pretty comfortably. You cannot expect an outstanding camera from a budget-centric tablet, to be honest.

The Keyboard

Heading over to the most unique feature of this tablet is its keyboard that comes shipped with the tablet. This keyboard has also been made by Alcatel and is very much made to house the tablet on it.

The keyboard has a hinge on which you have to stand the tablet. After housing the tab, you can move it up to 110-120 degrees approximately, to adjust your view.

The keys are tactile and its very soothing to write on this keyboard. Bearing a lot of shortcuts it makes things easier to control the volume of the tab or the brightness or turning on the WiFi, etc.

The keyboard also needs to be charged for use, but with one full charge, it can last for weeks and sometimes for even a month. Another good thing is that after keeping it paired with your tablet via Bluetooth, it automatically switches off if not used for 2-3 minutes, saving the battery life when you get busy or just forget to switch it off.

Sometimes it may just get unresponsive for a second, but it is quite well keeping in mind that you get this for free with the tablet.

Software and UI

The only drawback of the tablet is that it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmellow, and so you cannot use the Split screen feature on this device.

Otherwise, the UI is simple and clean and you get some essential apps like Docs, Slides, Sheets pre-installed that makes the tablet much more productive.

Another notable thing is that changing from the landscape to portrait mode and vice versa is very smooth and the UI adapts perfectly with each of the apps.

Alcatel Pop 4 - The Best Budget Tablet of 2018 with Keyboard

Connectivity

The tablet supports 4G LTE sim and has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for seamless connectivity. Also, the tab has Wi-Fi HotSpot options to share your data with others.

  • Huge 5830 mAh battery

  • The Bluetooth keyboard makes things much more easier and converts this tablet to a mini notebook

This tablet at Rs.11,999 is an ultimate budget tablet and is perfect for home use and medium work as well. It’s productive, good for entertainment purpose and handles everyday tasks smoothly including casual gaming.

Maurizio Sarri surprised by Eden Hazard’s contract situation

Maurizio Sarri confessed that he is surprised by the contract situation as Real Madrid target Eden Hazard is yet to re-sign at Chelsea.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri admitted that he is surprised Eden Hazard’s contract situation has gone on so long that the Blues might have to sell him in the summer.

The 27-year-old’s current deal with the Blues runs out in the summer of 2020 and with the rumours of Real Madrid still circulating, the fear that the Blues might lose him is a real possibility.

hazars , sarri

Hazard has continuously flirted with the idea of joining the Spanish side, stating that it is his ‘dream’ club, but then claiming after the victory against Watford on Wednesday that he wants to be considered a Chelsea legend.

The Blues have been trying to pin down the Belgium skipper to a new long-term deal since they won the Premier League title in 2017, however he is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract that could earn him more than £300,000-per-week.

It is a real possibility that they might be forced to sell him in the summer, and Sarri admits that he is surprised it has come to this point with a player who is so important to the club.

“Yes, I am a bit surprised [it has gone on this long] but I don’t know the past so I can’t say anything,” Sarri said, however he also claimed that the situation does not frustrate him, adding: “I think it’s normal. You have to manage 25/28 players. It’s a routine.”

If Hazard fails to sign a new contract then there is little that the Blues can do to keep him during the summer transfer window, unless Real Madrid end their interest in him.

But whatever the decision, Sarri admitted that he wants to know what is happening as soon as possible for he can plan for whether or not he will have the Belgian in his squad.

“The club has to programme the future,” Sarri said. “I think they need to start in this period. The club can decide for him. I think it’s right that the club knows the future and has the chance to programme the future.”

Honor View 20 is the continuation to the very successful View lineup by Honor and the alleged smartphone got launched in China at the beginning week. The smartphone got teased earlier this month just ahead of the actual launch of Samsung Galaxy A8s.

This futuristic design of the new smartphone looks alike to that of the Huawei Nova 4, which was launched as the first smartphone by Huawei to sport a hole for the selfie camera.

Apart from the punch-hole design, the Honor View 20 packs the latest Kirin 980 chipset based on the 7nm architecture which was previously seen to be used in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The View 20 also sports a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor at the back which is seen in the OPPO R17 Pro.

  • Weight: 180 g
  • Colours: Sea Blue, Phantom Blue, Red, Magic Night Black
  • 22.5W SuperCharge: up to 55% of its rated charge from zero at just 30 minutes

After looking at the specs of the smartphone, initially it seems pretty solid and we can expect a flagship-grade performance from this powerhouse. Here are the five reasons that make this smartphone an out-of-the-box one:

Punch-hole selfie camera setup

In 2018, we have seen a variety of smartphones and each of them having some unique display. From Full View to Notch and then came the Dew-drop Notch, and finally the notchless design with mechanical slider for the front camera.

In 2019, we are going to see new types of displays including the punch-hole display. In this punch-hole display we have the whole screen intact and at the top-left edge of the screen we see a small hole which bears the front shooter for the smartphone.

Honor View 20: A new Revolution in Smartphone is here

Here in the Honor View 20, the hole sports a 25-megapixel camera and the camera has an f/2.0 aperture on top of a fixed focus lens. The cutout for the selfie camera is claimed to be 4.5mm in size and non-invasive.

This hole helps the Honor View 20 to deliver a nearly full-screen display experience. The handset also supports features such as AI photo, night scene, portrait, fun AR, time-lapse photography, and slow-motion videos among others.

The Design with V-shaped texture at the back

The Honor View 20 has a unique design which has a glossy back that sports a gradient finish accompanying a aluminium frame at the sides to give a bold look.

The View 20 is a little different as it has a V-shaped texture at the rear panel which appears prominently when light reflects on the surface. There is also a 3D glass panel along with tapered edges, similar to what was featured on many of the recent Honor devices.

48-megapixel camera with 3D ToF sensor at the back

The Honor View 20 sports a 3D ToF sensor at the back which was also seen on the OPPO R17 Pro. This sensor gives a feel of dual rear camera setup that also includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and also an LED flash. This helps the smartphone to create 3D avatars of users and even slimming subjects in photos.

The Honor View 20 leverages the flagship-level power of the new Kirin 980 chipset and along with the 3D ToF sensor to shape the body of users in a 3D form to give full-height pictures. To help reduce jerks in videos to some extent it also has EIS support.

Can also be used as a desktop

Sounds crazy right? Apart from using it as a full-fledged smartphone, the Honor View 20 can work as a desktop PC replacement. If the desktop mode is turned on you can connect peripherals to it such as a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to turn this into a full fledged desktop.

The Moschino Edition of Honor View 20

Switches between data and Wi-Fi options automatically

As the smartphone comes preloaded with a Link Turbo feature that helps to enable the handset to switch between data and Wi-Fi on its own.
This new change essentially helps you to browse the web buffer-free i.e. without being affected by a poor data network.

This feature comes in if you’re very much concerned about your daily data quota but do not want to make your music streaming or video playback paused especially due to the switching from your mobile data to the available Wi-Fi network.
