In the first week of August, Samsung revealed its five new products on the Galaxy Unpacked event. Those gadgets are Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Note 20 lineup, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Buds Live. Among these five the Note 20 line up already reached India, yesterday both the Watch 3 and Buds Live launched here, and now the Galaxy Tab just listed on Amazon India. That means we can expect the sale will start next week. Before the sale starts have a look once again to its features.

The Galaxy Tab S7 is coming with an 11-inch 2560×1600 super AMOLED display having 120Hz of refresh rate. The display also has 500nit brightness, 276 PPI, DCI-P3 color range, and certification for low blue light emission.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chip is assigned to power the new tablet paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. You can freely store data to 128GB or 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Rather you can also expand that for up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.

Design and Comfort

The pTron tangent Beats Bluetooth neckband has a flexible design and is very lightweight. The Bluetooth neckband like other traditional neckbands has a neckpiece and from it, the wires come out for each earpiece and the controls are all placed at the right side of the neckpiece. The black portion of the neckpiece is flexible. The overall built quality of the neckband is very good and there is no such thing to worry about once you wear it.

In case of comfort the neckband is lightweight and is very comfortable to wear. The adjustable rubber tips helps to switch between your comfort zones and the flexible neck rest stays as it is without causing any problem.

Controls and Usage

In controls there is a volume rocker by which you can control the volume of the headphone and it can also be used to change songs while paired in the Bluetooth. The power button will allow you to turn on and off the Bluetooth of pTron Tangent Beats. The power button can also be used to receive and deny calls. It can also be used to turn on voice assistants by pressing for a few seconds.

After pairing with Bluetooth the headphone gives a playback time of almost 5 to 6 hours in medium volume. The volume of this headphone is not very high but decent, so it might not cause any problem while you throttle up to the highest volume anytime. It is also compatible while playing games like PUBG.

Audio Quality

The audio quality of the pTron tangent Beats is amazing. The highs and lows are up to the mark. When the volume is 100% the sound has a soothing effect but might not be needed every time. The 10mm Dynamic Driver Ensures exquisite sound details with Bass. The bass is not very prominent but it can be compromised in this price range.

Oppo Reno4 Z 5G received Global Certification Forum certification

Oppo Reno4 Z 5G has been certified by Global Certification Forum. The phone is a mid-range device, comes with a model number CPH2065. This model number has already visited Geekbench as well as the Federal Communications Commission and seems to be the same device as the model number matches.

Considering a previous leak, the model number CPH2065 has the same specification as the Oppo A92s which was launched a few months back in China as among the former 5G enabled devices. Oppo A92s has not been release in the international market. So, the phone can now escape from China in a new disguise.

Even though Oppo Reno4 Z 5G is listed with the name “5G”, the certification does not show any particular bands supporting this connectivity but it only lists 2G GSM, 3G UMTS, and 4G LTE networks. Even if the phone launches with 5G connectivity then it might not work for some countries that are yet to develop and implement their next-gen network.

Now coming to the original phone we have seen that Oppo A92s has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and has an FHD+ (1080 x 2400px) resolution. Now coming to the camera, the device packs in a unique rear quad-camera design. 

The quad-camera setup on the Oppo A92s includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The rest two sensor’s details are not mentioned officially, but according to TEENA listings TENAA listing from the other day, the secondary camera sensors are 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro. TEENA listing also specifies that the front camera’s sensors are 16MP with f/2.0 joined by a 2MP depth sensor which is housed within the punch-hole cut on the display.

OPPO A92s with 120Hz display and MediaTek Dimensity 800 launched ...

Though the official website and JD.com both haven’t revealed the details about the chipset clearly but mentions only â€œMT6873V” claiming that the chipset will support. The device will be available in two RAM variants – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. There is a 4000mAh battery packed inside which powers the Oppo A92s and supports 18W fast charging. The phone comes in Black and White colour options only.

The Cantabrian coach has officially been fired, according to MD. They say that it has been reported by the club that “the new coach will be announced in the coming days, within the framework of a broad restructuring of the first team.”

Ni Fei, president of ZTE mobile devices confirmed via Weibo their intention of launching the first under-display Smartphone. While many brands have been working on such technology, it appears ZTE might beat them to it. Now the company’s official page on Weibo has already mentioned that the phone will be called ZTE Axon 20 5G instead of the previous name spotted in TENAA which is ZTE A20 5G.

The ZTE A20 5G or as per the official name ZTE Axon 20 5G comes with model number ZTE A2121 and been spotted recently on TENAA. The website has also revealed some specifications of the phone as well as some original images. From the image, it does not hint any presence of the physical camera in the front which means that the under-display camera is really coming with this phone.

As we know about the under-display camera of the smartphone, the company is trying to develop a new technique to improve the quality for the under-display camera. As ZTE is not the first company to produce the under-display camera smartphone but this technology we have already seen a year ago from Oppo, but ZTE will be the first smartphone brand that will mass produce an under-display camera smartphone.

The main hurdle in such an under-display camera smartphone is the poor light transmittance through a screen. But it seems that ZTE has managed to circumvent this hurdle by using a panel developed by Visionox, one of the biggest OLED manufacturers in China. As per the intel of GSMArena, the company has already completed the R&D of the UD camera and the company says it works by optimizing the pixel arrangement around the camera’s lens.

Rumored specifications of ZTE Axon 20 5G

According to TENAA, the phone will come with 6.92-inch (1,080×2,460 pixels) OLED display, quad rear camera setup including a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP sensor, and two 2MP sensors along with a 32MP under-display front camera.

The phone will run on Android 10 along with an octa-core CPU with a frequency of 2.4GHz paired with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage. The exact combination is still not known yet. The phone is listed with a 4,120mAh battery but there is no mention of fast charging.

Asus Zenfone 7 series will launch on August 26

Asus finally revealed the launch date of the most awaited Asus Zenfone 7 series on August 26. The series is expected to come with two different smartphones – the vanilla version and the Pro version. The launch will be held in Taiwan and Asus official YouTube channel will broadcast the live stream which starts at 2 PM local time.

We can expect different Snapdragon chip-sets in both the Zenfone devices. It is anticipated that the vanilla version will come with Snapdragon 865 SoC whereas we can expect Snapdragon 865+ for the Pro version. There is also a hint in the official Livestream thumbnail, that the phones might retain the previous motorized flip selfie camera and this time might include quad camera setup.

Previously we had spotted the Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro in source code of the kernel version. In the source code, we had explained how we found the chipsets of the two smartphones. Now, another source claims that the vanilla version had been spotted previously in the Geekbench listing with the Snapdragon processor and 16GB RAM. This time the phone is coming with a huge RAM. Other detailed specifications are still mysterious in for both the devices.

Asus has also launched its gaming smartphone ROG Phone 3 and is going to launch the 12GB RAM version of the Asus ROG Phone 3 in India on August 21. The phone will come with 256GB internal storage and will be priced at â‚č57,999 for this version. The phone will be exclusively available via Flipkart.

Asus ROG Phone 3 is priced at Rs.49,999 for the base variant which has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs.57,999. The phone will be available on Flipkart on 6th August at 12 AM.

On 5th August, just a day earlier than the Amazon Prime Day sale, Samsung held the Galaxy Unpacked event where it revealed five new products. The list includes Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Note 20 lineup, and Galaxy Z Fold 2. Among these five, the Note 20 lineup already came to India, no news regarding Z Fold 2, but today (17th August) both the Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch 3 step in India. The rest Galaxy Tab S7 is already listed on Amazon. So, we can expect its launch next week.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is coming with a stainless still or titanium case, that is enough to provide better durability. More than 40 individual workout modes are enabled in it along with seven exercise modes. The running mode, trip detection, and all are also improved.

This watch is “lighter, thinner yet has a bigger display so you can enjoy wearing it all day long and choose from over 80,000 watch faces in the Galaxy Store, or design your own with a library of 40 different watch face complications to choose from.”

50 years of Paris Saint-Germain

French club Paris Saint-Germain has crossed 50 years of legacy this week. The club was founded 12th of August 1970 after the merger of Paris Football Club and Stade Saint-Germain. PSG made an immediate impact by winning the Ligue 2 title in their first season and gaining promotion to Ligue 1.

Sadly, their momentum was soon stopped as the club split in 1972. Paris FC remained in Ligue 1, while PSG was administratively relegated to Division 3. PSG got their revenge in 1974 when they returned to Ligue 1 and Paris FC slipped into the division below.

PSG won their first major honour, the French Cup, in 1982, and their maiden Ligue 1 title in 1986. 1990 was among the most successful periods in PSG’s history. They claimed their 2nd league title, 3 French Cups, 2 League Cups, 2 French Super Cups, and, most importantly, the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1996.

After suffering a decline in fortunes during the 2000s, the club has enjoyed a revival since 2011 with increased financial backing. The club has won 7 league titles in the last 10 years. It shows their complete domination in their domestic league.
