As the Coronavirus pandemic has forced the football leagues to be suspended, the clubs have quickly turned their attention in planning the future of their clubs. They want to strengthen their squads for the upcoming seasons. This has led to many transfer speculations.

The Paul Pogba-Real Madrid transfer saga is not unknown to any football fan. It’s no secret that Zidane wants the Manchester United midfielder in his team. Zidane wants to improve the ageing midfield duo of Kroos and Modric. Their best years have gone and they don’t have the work rate though they still have the elite passes and visions.

Florentino Perez has been persuaded by Zidane to sign the French international. According to former France player Willy Sagnol, the deal between Real Madrid and Pogba is almost done.

Sagnol told to After Foot RMC: “All the conditions for Paul Pogba signing for Real Madrid are met – I hope that we will see the Pogba of France and not that of Manchester United. Real Madrid want Pogba and he wants to go to Madrid. United, I think, are also happy with that as they’ll have the funds to invest, so I believe it will be done.”

De Gea wants to continue his dream career at Manchester United for many years

David De Gea has been one of the top goalkeepers for the last decade. During Manchester United’s tough period after Sir Alex Ferguson retired, De Gea has been the backbone of United under the bars.

Manchester United signed David De Gea from Atletico Madrid in 2011 for £19million, a British record fee for a goalkeeper at the time. It’s been almost a decade De Gea has been at Old Trafford.

De Gea felt it hard to keep going in his initial years but after some experience in the Premier League, he became the best goalkeeper of the league. Real Madrid wanted to lure him away in 2015 but the move failed and he is now contracted at United till 2023.

David De Gea said in a United Hangout: “Just to be a part of this club is amazing. So, imagine, [nearly] 10 years, it’s like a dream. It’s great to play games with this club, so I hope I can be here more years, many years.”

“I think the whole team improved a lot. We were in a good moment. I think we were in very good, top form.”

“We didn’t concede many goals, and of course with Bruno he brings a lot of quality. He’s a clever player, a top midfielder, the team improves with him and it was a pity that everything stopped because we were in a good moment.

“But hopefully with some players that were injured will be fit when it all starts again, so it will be a good challenge for everyone.”

FIFA proposes teams will be allowed to make 5 substitutions when football restarts after the Coronavirus pandemic

The Coronavirus pandemic has forced all the football leagues to be suspended which has tampered the footballing calendar. EURO 2020 and Copa America 2020 have all been moved back to 2021.

Still the football leagues are running out of time to finish the 2019-20 season. The delay in finishing this season will affect the 2020-21 season. KNVB has already cancelled the Eredivisie 2019-20 season. Meanwhile, Germany are eyeing a May return for the Bundesliga.

Football matches are generally used to be played on the weekends, till now. But with such a short amount of time to finish this season and start a new season, teams might have to play matches in a gap of 2-3 days. This can result in player fatigue and cause player injuries if the players have to play so often after such a long lay-off.

FIFA has now proposed a new change in rules to cope with player fitness if they have to play matches in short intervals. FIFA suggested that teams will be allowed to make 5 substitutions instead of 3 previously. They will also be allowed to make another substitution if the match goes into extra time.

FIFA has proposed this change till 2020/21 season for club football and for international matches until the end of next year. This is now subject to approval from the International Football Association Board (IFAB), the organisation responsible for the laws of the game.

A Fifa spokesperson said: “When competitions resume, such competitions are likely to face a congested match calendar with a higher-than-normal frequency of matches played in consecutive weeks.”

“Safety of the players is one of Fifa’s main priorities. One concern in this regard is that the higher-than-normal frequency of matches may increase the risk of potential injuries due to a resulting player overload.”

“In light of this, and in light of the unique challenge faced globally in delivering competitions according to the originally foreseen calendar, Fifa proposes that a larger number of substitutions be temporarily allowed, at the discretion of the relevant competition organiser.”

“In competitions where less than five substitutions are currently allowed, each team would now be given the possibility to use up to five substitutions during the match, with the possibility of an additional substitution remaining during extra time, where relevant.”

Apple Music makes its way to Samsung Smart TVs

After Samsung promised to bring the Apple Music to its Smart TV models launched in 2018 or later. Now it is available for select models and the company in a press release claimed that it is the first TV brand to integrate Apple’s music streaming service on its Smart TV platform.

Even though Samsung is the arch-rival to Apple in smartphones and various other sectors, the South Korean giant is the leading TV manufacturer in the world. To modernise their Smart TVs it has integrated the Apple Music into a few of their Smart TVs.

This feature has just started rolling out via an update, this will enable consumers in more than 100 countries to enjoy Apple Music on their Samsung Smart TVs, according to the company. You can stream over 60 million songs ad-free, watch top music videos, and explore thousands of playlists curated by world-class music experts and tastemakers.

So to enjoy Apple Music, you have to download the Apple Music app from the Samsung Smart TV App Store. You can either sign in to an existing account with your Apple ID or begin a new subscription from the TV itself.

New subscribers are entitled to get the service free for 3 months with an individual, family or student subscription. To make things sweeter for you, Apple Music users on Samsung TVs will have access to all the features of the service.

This includes ‘For You’ playlists, videos and radio stations such as Beats 1, that offers exclusive shows by artists like Frank Ocean, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, DJ Khaled and Elton John.

You can stream the latest ‘At Home With Apple Music’ content, which includes playlists and interviews crafted “to help create a sense of connection and community during this time of distancing”, said Samsung.

Samsung was the first TV brand to offer the new Apple TV app on its televisions in May 2019. Also, Samsung Smart TVs brought support for Apple’s AirPlay 2 feature that lets you wirelessly send audio and video to the TV screen without a set-top box.

The POCO F2 and Redmi K30 Pro have been in news for a few days and a few days back there were some reports that claimed the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro will come in India as a phone under the POCO brand. The phone was rumored to launch with the name POCO F2 Pro, but this may not be a concrete report.

Some confirmation also has been spotted from Poco India GM Chandolu Manmohan who cleared that the company will not bring the Redmi K30 Pro as the Poco F2 or X2 Pro. With this confirmation, all the rumors have been exposed but this is not the end of everything.

Redmi K30 Pro May Be Rebranded as Poco F2 Pro, Google Play Listing Suggests: Report

From a recent report showing a list that shows the devices which will support Google Play, we can see that the Redmi K30 Pro and POCO F2 Pro comes with the same “Imi” name code and under the same brand. There is another listing with the name code “Imiinpro” which comes with the name Redmi K30 Pro 5G Zoom Edition.

Both the phone names with different names may indicate something different. We guess that the POCO F2 Pro won’t come in India as a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro as suggested by the GM of POCO India. Another thing that we are assuming is that the Redmi K30 Pro can be launched in India with the name Redmi K30 Pro 5G Super Zoom and the POCO F2 Pro can launch with different specs sheets.

We still haven’t seen the successor of the POCO F1 and instead of that we got POCO X2 which is almost the rebranded version of the Redmi K20. Let’s see what comes this time as POCO brand has promised another smartphone soon.

Last year Neymar was on the verge of joining Barca but the deal couldn’t complete at the end moment, this year too Barca president Bartemeu will try to bring him back at the Camp Nou but the financial situation at the club due to the pandemic puts the deal into question.

It was Didier Drogba who convinced Hazard to join Chelsea in 2012. Hazard told: “Suddenly Gervinho’s phone rang in our the dressing room. It was Drogba on the line. He insisted on passing the phone to me, ‘I need to talk to him’.”

“Drogba said to me, ‘You have to come to Chelsea’. At that moment I was still in doubt. Chelsea were not doing that well in the Premier League. They wouldn’t play Champions League the following year.”

Chelsea stunned the football world by winning the Champions League in 2012. They beat Bayern Munich on penalties in the final. That win in the final gave Chelsea the pass to play in the Champions League next season.

Hazard tweeted after Chelsea’s Champions League win: “I’m signing for the Champions League winner.”

He added: “[But] After that [Champions League] final, the choice was made quickly. I knew I would easily adapt. London, close to home, not far from Lille. De Bruyne had just signed, Romelu was around.”

“There were enough French speakers. I knew I would play enough. I was only sad that he, Drogba, decided to leave. Luckily he came back for one season.”
