When the web first came into existence, webpages were laid out in Hyper Text Mark-up Language, or simple HTML. But now the webpages have become more complex and dynamic. As such there always comes a need to keep the internet browsers up to speed.
In 2020, modern browsers have been equipped with a rendering or layout engine as well as a scripting engine. This together determines how well the browser can handle any particular task. There are many modern browsers available on the internet, but only a few are worthy of any praise.
Here are some top browsers of 2020
The top position is held by the one and only “Google Chrome”. Sources have claimed that Chrome has dominated over 49% of the internet with most PC users preferring Chrome over other browsers.
Coming in second place is apples‘ very own “Safari”. One might wonder, why safari which is mostly used in macOS is spoken to be the second-best browser in the market. Well, people often forget that, while Windows surely dominate the Desktop market. But most people still prefer the iPhone over Android devices. And when it comes to iPad there is no comparison. Both Apple’s iPhone and iPad offer a safari browser and its performance is no joke.
This might be a bit surprising, but Internet Explorer is still in the race. It is the third most famous browser of this year. Microsoft has been trying its best in urging users to dump Internet Explorer in favor of its Edge browser. Microsoft even went as far as saying that it won’t be including Internet Explorer in its future windows updates. Yet, some people still prefer the old over new.
Next in line is Microsoft’s new and updated Edge. It is now based on Chrome’s open-source parent Chromium. Even with Microsoft providing it with as much push as possible, people are still concerned over its security and buggy interface.
Finally, the privacy champion, Mozilla Firefox is the browser which has been hit hard this year. While it still continues to get praise for its privacy initiative with DNS-over-HTTPS. It has improved its overall security yet that is the only major update that it has provided in its several latest release.
The Internet has become a complex thing over these years. Yet a browser that provides the ability to surf the internet must have a perfect blend of security and stability. Many modern browsers are in a race to provide more features but always fail to make the internet experience smoother and richer.
A new rumor has set social media on fire and there are lots of debates and also a big question mark arises whether to believe it or not. I am talking about none other than the rumor of the Red Dead Redemption 2 to be free next week on the Epic Store.
It’s not the first time Epic games had distributed freebies games to its users. Many AAA titles and other games, Epic gave their users for free to keep forever. Recent two biggest games distributed by Epic was GTA 5 and Hitman. The game is allegedly to hit the epic store this Friday.
Initially, the rumor arose first on the Maylasian Lowyat forum, where the screenshot of the game was allegedly posted along with something written in Chinese on a Chinese Games Store. The Chinese writing was translated in English saying ‘Free To Claim next Friday’.
Many facts suggest the rumored news to be a fake. First, Epic starts to give its freebies from Thursday, not Friday. Second, Epic has already confirmed that it will offer Railway Empire as a freebie for this week. Third, it took GTA 5 seven years to come for free in pc on Epic store and Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on 5th November 2019 so, its less than a year a release of the game.
Unless Epic is generous enough to fork out a very large sum of money on it, or it’s just a fake rumor. The game is among the Steam top 30 global best sellers and its hard to digest that Rockstar Games will agree to lose their beth from that position and incur a huge loss of money. The amount required to get Rockstar to budge would be excessively high even for Epic. So, don’t get your hopes high as the rumor is highly doubtful with a very little chance to be true.

PUBG being banned in India has left many gamers dis-heartened. With the news, many are looking for alternate sources to enjoy the same adrenaline they once experienced from a famous battle royale game.
The title created by Tencent games had more than 33 million regular users in India. With India’s ongoing tussle with China, PUBG mobile players have been left without their favorite game.
With the latest demise in PUBG many other games that offer similar gameplay like it has been seeing a rise in their players. So, if you’re also looking for similar games, here are a few options that you can consider.
Garena Free Fire
This game at one time was even more famous then PUBG Mobile in the smartphone industry. It has over 61 million downloads so far and has one of the smoothest Battle Royale gameplay in the smartphone market.
The game offers each BR round of around 10 minutes and at most 50 players in each Battle, where they fight to the death. It has both great content as well as regular updates.
Call of Duty Mobile
This game did Battle Royal gameplay the most justice by offering the same gameplay that PUBG did. While also offering great graphics and stability.
Players are dropped on an island with playable area always shriking until only one player emerges victorious. Apart from Battle Royal it also offers, other game modes including Frontlone, Domination, Search and destroy and Deathmatches.
Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival
This is a PUBG clone that offers decent gameplay in Battle Royal Genre. 121 players are dropped on an island where they fight for their survival. Players can also use helicopters to shoot and kill other players.
Pixel’s Unknown Battle Ground
This is a long lost child of PUBG and Minecraft. It has the same gameplay and brutality as PUBG but offers the upbeat graphics of Minecraft. If you enjoy both PUBG and Minecraft then you will surely love this game. With PUBG being not an option anymore, this game serves as a great alternative.
Survival Battleground Free Fire: Battle Royale
This game has mixed features from both PUBG and Free Fire. While allowing the players to fight each other on a shrinking island. The winner is decided by the last man standing. The game does offer a quick to master interface as well as, a wide arsenal of weapons.
There are many other games that can serve as a replacement for Tencent’s PUBG. But the above-mentioned games are garnering a lot of attention since PUBG’s downfall. If one wants a decent Battle Royal experience one needs not to look farther then this list.
After a decade long, Ubisoft has confirmed the return of Prince Of Persia. Though it not a revival of the series but its a remake of the Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time, the most popular and iconic adventure game.
In Ubisoft Forward, the remake of the game was announced. The game will hit the market on 21st January 2021 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There has been no date confirmation of the game released date for the upcoming nextgen consoles like Xbox Series X and Play Station 5 till now.
This is the first time Ubisoft has tried to remake a game and for their attempt, they choose to remake is their iconic adventure of 2003 i.e. Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time. Maybe by seeing the success of the other game remakes, Ubisoft has come to this decision to make a remake of their own game.
The Prince of Persia series was dropped off 10 years ago after the release of Prince Of Persia The Forgotten sands which were released on 10th May 2010. There were two main reasons for the downfall of the series. Firstly, the game was very popular and loved by the gamers til the Prince Of Persia The Thrones(3rd sequel of the series) but after that, the two more sequels were launched but they didn’t perform well in the market. So, the popularity got declined, and Ubisoft diverted its attention to other game projects. The second reason is the rise of the Assassin’s Creed series. The series got popularity and fans pretty fast which also led to the down of the Prince Of Persia Series.
Are you excited about playing the remake? Do comment and let me know your thoughts.
LG has finally confirmed the launch date of its new folding smartphone, the LG Wing. The arrival is scheduled for October 5, 2020. According to the insiders, the launch was supposed to be in the next two weeks, on September 25. But for some internal issues, the Korean manufacturer decided to postpone the LG Wing arrival with 10 more days.
So far, we have some rumors and leaks about this new upcoming smartphone from LG. As it will be a folding smartphone, the display will be undoubtedly top-notch and some of the tipsters have already shown us how the device would look like in real life.
Let’s first talk about the display. This phone will feature a 6.8-inch main display (an OLED panel with a 1080 x 2460 resolution), with a square-shaped secondary screen and 4” diagonal. This phone will run on Android 10 OS and will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G, coupled with 8 GB RAM. This is not quite sure if this phone will feature the fingerprint sensor on the main screen or the second screen too though.
There is nothing confirmed until now about the pricing of the flip phone. The initial pricing was supposed to be around KRW2 million (over $1,600/€1,400), the more realistic price tag is half of that.
According to the company, they will launch an official teaser of the LG Wing in the upcoming weeks. The company has announced that on Monday. The testing process will be followed by four weeks with selected users and when this is done, the official launch will take place. It is quite a very complicated way to bring a smartphone to the market. But the company has been doing that from the older releases too.
On September 3rd, Redmi India revealed that they are bringing a new smart band named Redmi Smart Band on 8th September. Redmi Smart Band is the Indian version of Redmi Band which is available in China from last April.
The fitness band was up for sale for the first time in India on 9th September. I ordered it on the launch day from Amazon for Rs 1,599 and got it delivered by Amazon really quick on the morning of 10th September.
I have been using it since yesterday and now I would like to share my experience.
In the box
The box contains 1 Redmi Smart Band along with a user manual.

Connectivity
In order to connect the Redmi Smart Band to your phone, you need to first download the ‘Xiaomi Wear’ app from the play store. Then you need to keep the device near your’s Bluetooth range and add the Redmi Smart Band on your phone’s Xiaomi Wear app. You will get a prompt message on the band whether you want to pair the decide. Select ‘Yes’ and you’re good to go.
From the Xiaomi Wear app you can customise the Redmi Smart Band. It comes pre-installed with two watch faces. But in the online store, you’ll get 50+ watch faces for free, just waiting for you to download. You can manage the type of notifications you want on your band and set alarms along with many other options to customise your band.
Design and build quality
The design is quite simple yet attractive. There’s no button on the side as well which gives it a clean look. The band fits almost perfectly on the wrist (unless you have very small ones then it would seem to fit awkwardly). On the downside, it features a heart rate sensor.
The build quality also feels premium. The two rubber straps don’t feel to be of cheap quality and you won’t run any risk of having skin allergies by wearing this band for prolonged hours. The band weighs as less as 13 grams so it won’t be a burden on your wrist as well.
The two straps can be disassembled very easily. It features a Direct USB charging under the strap. You can also easily change the strap and wear the various colours according to your mood.
Display
The Redmi Smart Band comes with a 1.08″ rectangular display. It features a full touch colour display with 120 x 220 pixels resolution whose brightness can be adjusted accordingly.
The touch experience is average as often a single touch won’t be enough to wake up the screen and sometimes when you navigate through the menus it misses a swipe. Although the brightness could be adjusted, it isn’t much vibrant even in full brightness.
But overall, in this price range you can’t complain much and the display is above average.
Functions
Xiaomi has put in a lot of features in the Redmi Smart Band. You just have to swipe up the left screen to get the menus.
The options you’ll get are:
Status: It will display the steps and distance covered. I tested it by walking 50 steps. It showed 43 steps so it’s near about accurate.
Heart rate: You can measure your heart rate by selecting this option.
Workout: Under this section, you’ll get five options – Outdoor running, Treadmill, Cycling, Walking, Freestyle. I check out the freestyle mode and it showed the time duration you’re working out, calories burnt and the heart rate in bpm.
Weather: It displays the current weather and also the weather forecast for the next four days.
Notifications: You can enable this to get your phone’s notification here.
More: Under this section, you will get the options to set DND mode, alarms, stopwatch, timer, find your phone, settings, etc.
Charging and battery backup
This is a unique feature which Xiaomi has introduced. The Redmi Smart Band features direct USB charging. So you don’t need to carry the charger and directly put the USB connector of the band into any USB Type-A port and it will start charging.
Xiaomi claims it to have a 14 days standby time. I’ve been using it for the last 24 hours, I started at 40% charge and it is now on 31% charge. So, I guess this band is good enough to last 7-10 days of normal usage.
Pros and cons
Pros
Cons
Good connectivity using Xiaomi Wear
Display could have been better
Standby time of 14 days
Touch is average
Direct USB charging
Sensors are near about perfect
Verdict
Personally, I feel that the Redmi Smart Band is one of the best fitness band in this price range. Xiaomi has set the price very much affordable at just Rs 1,599.
If you’re looking for a fitness band at an affordable price, which has great functionality, then this is the perfect one to buy. Order it right away from Amazon:

With the rise of fantasy games, the true winner is always the fan. Our goal is to create a hub for Fantasy Sports fans, which would help users in covering a vast variety of factors and formats required for the matches. This would act as a one-stop – service for fantasy cricket audiences to understand data, statistics, and information for their needs.
The data and statistics covered above is for understanding purposes and is the hypothesis of how we believe the game would evolve. This may not be always correct and we recommend user discretion. Certain states in India do not allow online gaming and in the interest of our fans, we suggest having their respective local jurisdictional laws checked before playing fantasy games.

It was a game that ebbed and flowed in both directions, but ultimately the experience of the Trinbago Knight Riders proved to be the difference,as they picked up an eight-wicket victory against the St.Lucia Zouks in the final of the 2020 Hero Caribbean Premier League. The win means that TKR have won the CPL title for a record fourth time.
In a cagey opening to the game, spinner Akeal Hosein beat the outside edge of Rahkeem Cornwall’s bat on a couple of occasions, but he was tonked for two fours by the burly batsman when he missed his length. Pacer Ali Khan however didn’t miss his length when he came on to bowl, as he knocked over Cornwall’s middle stump.
The early wicket didn’t deter the Zouks batsmen, as Mark Deyal picked up back-to-back fours off Hosein’s second over. Andre Fletcher too joined the party, getting two massive sixes off Sikander Raza’s over, getting 18 runs off it to push the score to 43/1 after four.

The 32-year-old continued to pile on the runs, scoring two photogenic cover drives to end the powerplay with 60 runs on the board- the highest powerplay score of the Zouks in CPL 2020. The game slowed down after the field restrictions were lifted, as the batting side focused on treading the gaps, barring a well timed six on the leg side from Deyal. That six however proved to be the last hurrah for the southpaw, as he was out caught at slip shortly after.
The wicket slowed down the scoring rate for the Zouks, as they added just 11 runs in the next two overs. Fletcher tried to free his arms against Pollard to release the tension, but picked out the fielder at long-off, as the Trinbago Knight Riders firmly got a foothold back in the contest.
Despite having two new players in Roston Chase and Najibullah Zadran in the middle, the Zouks added 25 runs in the next three overs, with Chase scoring a six on the leg side and Zadran getting a straight boundary. Chase however was foxed by a slower one from Pollard shortly after, leaving the Zouks at 115/4 after 14 overs.

Things got worse for the first time finalists, as new man Mohammad Nabi was sent back to the pavilion for single figures. Skipper Daren Sammy walked out to bat next, and started off with a massive six on the leg side. Zadran too supported his captain ably, scoring a flat six on the off side off Hosain’s bowling. The left-arm spinner however had something to celebrate later in the over, as he trapped Sammy leg before wicket with a quicker one.
It was the Trinbago Knight Riders who finished off strong, as the Zouks lost four wickets in the last two overs, folding for a score of 154.
Second Innings
It was a cautious start to the chase from TKR, as openers Lendl Simmons and Tion Webster added 13 runs off the first two overs. The next couple of overs brought with it two quick wickets, as Roston Chase dismissed Webster and Scott Kuggeleijn picked up Tim Seifert, to put the Zouks right back in the contest. At the end of the powerplay, the score read 40/2 for TKR, evenly poised.
With the field restrictions lifted, finding the gaps became more difficult, as the Zouks spinners began to mount the pressure. The next three overs yielded ten runs, as the fielding team began to get a foothold on the game. Simmons lifted the pressure off the chasing side with a big six on the leg side shortly before the drinks game, making for a tantalizing last ten overs.
TKR started brightly post the drinks break, getting 25 runs off the next two overs, courtesy mainly of two sixes and a four. The chasing side continued to pile on the runs, as new bowler Javelle Glenn went for 15 runs in his first over. The countercharge helped TKR get the team score past 100, and they now needed 54 off the last six overs.
The next over proved to be expensive as well, as Simmons and Bravo got nine runs off it to further chisel down the target. Kuggeleijn came back into the attack for the Zouks, and gave away just four runs, putting his team back in the contest. TKR however made up in no time, as they took the attack to Zahir Khan, getting three sixes in the overs to reduce the equation to a run a ball.
Things got worse for the first time finalists, as Simmons got a six and a four in the next over equation down to single figures. Needing just two runs off the last two overs, Bravo got a fortuitous inside edge that ran away to the boundary, to give the Trinbago Knight Riders an eight-wicket victory; and their fourth CPL title.
