After losing two high-profile jobs at Juventus and Chelsea, Fiorentina might be the solution to Sarri’s plight. The Italian chainsmoker needs some time away from the spotlight to get back his confidence and the respect that he truly deserves.

Tipping a manager with a return to a former club rarely works, but considering that Bilbao have gathered only 3 points from four games and are 19th in the table, a reunion between the former Barcelona coach and Bilbao looks likely. 

2. Max Allegri: PSG

Thomas Tuchel, much like Pochettino, went as far as the final, but could not deliver the Champions League to the Parisians. However, despite a French title every season, it seems likely that Max Allegri will take over at some point in the future, especially considering that PSG are keeping tabs on the coach.

Ever since he left Spurs after a career-high of reaching the Champions League finals, Pochettino has been out of a job. Manchester United is the most heavily rumoured destination for the Argentine coach, and it is hard to see Ole at the wheel when the next season begins.

17-year-old Eduardo Camavinga is proving to be one of the next jewels in world football. Having a breakout season with Rennes in 2019/20, the young player is slowly becoming a hot property with the big clubs keeping a close eye on his development.

Zinedine Zidane, of course, himself has been credited with a reported interest in the player. But now, with them turning their head towards the potential signing of Paul Pogba from Manchester United, it is suggested that the Red Devils themselves might look at the young defensive midfielder as a replacement for the Frenchman.

According to a media report, Man United could pose a “serious threat” to Real Madrid’s hopes of signing the player and considering how Old Trafford has become a breeding ground for young players to shine and prosper, Camavinga just might be tempted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League as well.

Another reason why Madrid may not make a move for the player is because of their reduced expenditure and stadium redevelopment plans owing to the finances hit by the coronavirus pandemic. And while United may not be doing too well on the financials side themselves either, they could still make a sizeable offer to Rennes and sign the French talent, who has also already received a call-up to the national team at a young age.

Camavinga is touted by big clubs for a good reason. For one, his height and passing vision are extraordinary for a U-19 player. Standing at 182 cms, he had a successful pass percentage of 87.7%.

In addition, the emergence of Camavinga meant that he started 24 of the 28 games in Ligue 1 – before being suspended due to the pandemic. He is extremely capable in the deeper areas of the midfield often winning duels and interceptions while keeping hold of the ball to start the next action in the next counter-attack.

So regardless of where he goes, the club which signs him are getting a potential superstar for the future.

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata opted to stay at Manchester United and rejected a €20 million offer from a club in Saudi Arabia.

The 32-year-old midfielder is in the last year of his contract. Though there is a one-year extension clause in his contract which United can trigger after the end of this season.

Juan Mata is not a regular starter in the team. Last season he has only started 8 Premier League games. He is yet to start a Premier League game this season. But he is a very important squad member for the Red Devils. His experience is very much valuable for this relatively young Manchester United squad. Juan Mata is also happy with his role in this team.

Manchester United is going to play in this year’s UEFA Champions League. They will face last season’s runners up Paris Saint Germain, RB Leipzig, and Istanbul Basaksehir in the group stage. He has scored 50 goals in his 257 appearances for the Red Devils.

Some fans want him to be in the starting XI for the next EPL matches. Match 28 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 featured an interesting match as Kolkata Knight Riders took on the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The match being in Sharjah was expected to be a high-scoring one. However, it happened the other way around for KKR as they suffered and were wrapped for only 112 runs. They had a terrible day overall as they lost by a massive margin of 82 runs. However, there was something to cherish as a personal milestone as Andre Russell reached the landmark of 300 T20 wickets.

Russell became the 10th cricketer to achieve this monumental feat. He became the third West Indian to achieve this feat. The list of top 10 wicket-takers in T20 cricket is as follows.

1) Dwayne Bravo – 509 wickets

2) Lasith Malinga – 390 wickets

3) Sunil Narine – 390 wickets

4) Imran Tahir – 380 wickets

5) Sohail Tanvir – 362 wickets

6) Shakib Al Hasan – 354 wickets

7) Shahid Afridi – 339 wickets

8) Rashid Khan – 317 wickets

9) Wahab Riaz – 305 wickets

There is no Indian bowler on the list. Probably due to the fact that BCCI does not allow Indian cricketers to participate in foreign T20 leagues like Big Bash, Caribbean Premier League, etc.

Russell made his T20 debut back in 2011. He has been an integral part of the West Indian cricket team ever since. He has played in 337 T20 matches. He was also a part of the West Indies squads who won the T20 World Cups of 2012 and 2016.

Along with KKR, he has played in world-renowned franchises like Jamaica Tallawahs, Melbourne Renegades, Sydney Thunders, Nottinghamshire, Khulna Royal Bengals, Islamabad United, etc. However, he has been silent in this IPL. He’ll have to pull his socks up for KKR to qualify for the playoffs and eventually win the IPL 2020.

Sony’s new Alpha 7S III features a focal plane phase-detection AF system

Sony has been a leading appliances supplier for the Indian market. The tech giant never disappoints with its range of products that are performance-oriented and offer a wide range of specs. The company has once again launched a new product for its Indian market.

The new camera is a part of Sony’s Alpha 7S full-frame mirrorless portfolio. The new camera, dubbed the Alpha 7S III model number ILCE-7SM3 features a brand new 1.2MP image sensor, which is also back-illuminated and covers the full-frame. It also comes with a 15+ stop wide dynamic range and a 4K 120pi video recording. It also features a 10-bit 4:2:2 color depth.

The device comes with a new heat-dissipating mechanism and a dual slop relay recording that enables over one-hour of 4K 60fps moving shooting until the battery ends, which is pretty cool. The new camera is also launched with a new autofocus system and a touch screen interface, and a side flips LCD screen.

Sony has also provided a BIONZ XR image processing engine for its new camera. The company claims that the engine has eight times more processing power and a 12.1 MP back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R CMOS image sensor.

According to sources, the new camera has an ultra-high sensitivity with an ISO range expandable from 40 – 409,600 along with improved image quality offering approximately 1 stop noise reduction in the middle and high sensitivity images. The new 35mm full-frame 12.1 MP sensor in the camera reduces the rolling shutter by three times. The new image sensor also offers a focal-plane phase-detection AF system. This is the first time Sony has offered this feature in an S – Series camera.

The new Alpha 7S III offers in-camera 4K recording up to 120 frames per second along with 10-bit depth and 4:2:2 color sampling.

The new camera comes with two CFexpress Type A compatible media slots that support UHS-I and USH-II SDXC/SDHC cards.

The new feature-rich camera from Sony will be available in India from 14th October and must be on every photography enthusiast list.

Manchester United have failed to land any of their dream transfer targets in the previous transfer windows. First, it was Paulo Dybala, then it was Erling Haaland and most recently, Jadon Sancho has been the promised superstar that United have failed to lure to the Old Trafford. 

However, United did make a few signings on deadline day, with the likes of Alex Telles, Edinson Cavani and Amad Diallo confirmed by the club on October 5th itself. Diallo will join United from Atalanta in January.

The reason behind the delay in the arrival of the youngster seems to be some passport issues that could not be sorted out by the club before the transfer window shut.

Talking about United’s methods of conducting business, Diallo and Pellistri were brought in to compensate for Ed Woodward’s failure to be able to lure away the Borussia Dortmund star from the German giants.

With the recent developments, it seems unlikely that United will be able to land Sancho in any of the future transfer windows, as Liverpool and Barcelona have been linked with paying a hefty fee to secure the English wonderkid’s signature. 

Atalanta President Antonio Percassi has commented on the way that United go about conducting their transfer business. His statement hinted at a very weird and disorganised discussion that the club has regarding their business and the lengthy process of the negotiations as well.

“The negotiations [for Amad Diallo] lasted almost a year and you can feel how they work, how they manage enormous dimensions.”

Save for Donny Van de Beek, all the other United signings were revealed on the final day of the transfer window and considering the Red Devils’ performances in the recent transfer windows, it looks unlikely that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will manage to get the backing that he wants from the board.

Cristiano Ronaldo tests positive for COVID-19

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has been released from the Portugal camp for the UEFA Nations League matches.

The Juventus star has tested positive for COVID-19 so he has been advised to isolate from the rest of the team members.

A statement released by the Portuguese football federation on Tuesday confirmed the 35-year-old is asymptomatic and feeling fine, but he must now undergo a period of self-isolation.

No other Portugal player apart from Ronaldo has tested positive for the virus, which is good news for the Portugal camp.

Cristiano Ronaldo played against France in a 0-0 draw on Sunday. But sadly he will now miss Portugal’s UEFA Nations League clash with Sweden on Wednesday. There is also a doubt for Juventus’ upcoming fixtures against Crotone and Dynamo Kyiv.

He will now self-isolate to recover from the COVID-19 virus and prepare for his return to football in the upcoming days.

Despite the amount of money he earns, Ter-Stegen was one of the main reasons why Barcelona managed to finish second last season.

Although he is currently out injured, needing surgery at the end of last season, the German shot-stopper still has enough talent and time on his side to prove that he can be the best in the world and Barcelona are wise to satisfy his demands to keep him happy at the club.

It will still be a few months before the German international can feature for the Blaugrana and Barcelona are likely to announce his return to fitness with a bumper new deal, also set to include an enormous release clause.
