It has only been 58 days since the 19/20 edition of the Champions League reached its conclusion. Today, we find ourselves awaiting the first matchday of the 20/21 Champions League, headlined by Chelsea vs Sevilla, Lazio vs Borussia Dortmund and PSG vs Manchester United.
Though the final is almost a year away, it is always in the interest of football fans to be amidst the speculation. With that in mind, let’s have a look at the 5 teams most likely to win the Champions League.
5. Barcelona
Considering the string of humiliating Champions League exits that Barcelona have faced over the last four years, it is a surprise that they made this list. However, things are looking different under Ronald Koeman.
The change in formation is the most eye-catching move by the former Netherlands coach, and it seems to be working well. Messi and Co. will be determined to not have a repeat of the shambolics of the years gone by, and going by the current form, it seems like they have a chance.
4. Juventus
Gigi Buffon is 41, Ronaldo is 35, Bonucci is 33 while Chiellini is 36. Juventus seem to be doing justice to the tag of the Old Lady. And despite this being player-turned-manager Pirlo’s debut season in charge, it looks like the boys from Turin have a chance at the cup.
Currently, Juventus are unbeaten in Serie A and have managed to draw twice. With the likes of Ronaldo, Dybala, Kulusevski and Chiesa amongst their ranks, this could finally be the year that the Champions League trophy returns to the back to back 9-time Serie A winners.
3. Manchester City
Sergio Aguero is tearing down his enemies by his goals
It has been a heartbreaking few years for Manchester City when it comes to the Champions League. The exit against Tottenham in the 18/19 season, and bowing out to Lyon in the quarters last season has been particularly hard to take.
A partnership of Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte at the back might just be what Guardiola needs to supplement his blistering attacking line-up as he tries to lead the club to a debut Champions League title.
2. Real Madrid
One of the most settled squads in Europe, Real have won the most number of Champions League titles at 13. Though they haven’t managed to win it since the departure of Ronaldo to Juventus, Zidane has adapted to the absence of the Portuguese forward well.
Madrid are a fortress and are one of the best defensive teams in Europe. With star power in almost every position on the field, it seems only fair that Los Blancos are right up there in the conversation to win the trophy for the 14th time.
1. Bayern Munich
It is difficult, nay, foolish to bet against the reigning Champions of Europe. Especially given that they were unbeaten in 2020 before the match against Hoffenheim.
Hansi Flick has transformed Bayern into an almost invincible team once again, winning every single trophy available in only his first year as manager.
With LewanGOALski, Sane, Muller, Kimmich and Neuer to only name a few, Bayern Munich easily have one of the best squads in the world and might just repeat their performance in the season gone by, defending their title successfully.
As per reports, WhatsApp is in the works of bringing the facility of Voice and Video Calls to WhatsApp Web users. If this will happen, then it will be a great update for the desktop WhatsApp clients. In the Web version, everything is there except the video or voice call facility. This one absence pushed the web version slightly backward. But finally, it is good news.
Right now, this facility will only available for beta users. If everything is well & good, a recent update will surely be there for the Web version of WhatsApp with v2.2043.7. WABetaInfo has teased this feature and also shared a few screenshots of the same. Let’s check if we can breakdown those teased images.
As per the images, if you are using the WhatsApp Web and you get a call, a pop-up window appears with options for receiving and rejecting the call. Moreover, there will be an ‘Ignore’ option at the bottom. Not only this but also at the time of call, a smaller pop-up appears with options for starting the video, mute, decline, and more settings. This update might introduce the group voice and video call facilities as well.
This is a great move by the WhatsApp to bring the facility in the web version by which the users can seamlessly use it to switch back and forth between their work desktop or laptop and their phone. That’s all we’ve known yet regarding this feature. We hope WhatsApp will clarify more and more things about this new update in the upcoming days, and we’ll get a stable update soon.
Huawei is going to launch its Kirin 9000 chipset in the upcoming days and this chip has already appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark website where it scored very similar to the Exynos 1080 chipset. As per the GPU section, it has scored much better, at about 287,000+. It is way ahead if we compare it with Qualcomm and Samsung’s Exynos top performers.
Today another report has arrived regarding the Huawei Kirin 9000 sports a 24-core GPU. This thing was measured by calculating another benchmark score. In comparison, this GPU has scored better than the Snapdragon 865 and the Exynos 1080. Now we are waiting to see how this chipset Kirin 9000 will perform against the Snapdragon 875 and the Exynos 2100. Both of them will make their entry in 2021.
Kirin9000 GPU uses Mali G78 MP24, yes, 24, the highest specification, but the frequency is not high, so the results are not very good. pic.twitter.com/yfJP0a8GFH
As per the smartphones, the Mate 40 from Huawei will carry this chipset which will feature a display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The SoC of this phone will be paired with 8GBof RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The RAM type is LPDDR5 and the storage type is UFS 3.1.
The Mate 40 Pro+ model might feature an octagonal-shaped Penta rear camera setup, along with 65W fast charging. The chipset of this phone will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
So we can expect that the Kirin 9000 chipset will make its entry with the Huawei’s new Mate 40 series and the announcement date of tis series has already been announced by the company which is October 22.
RWC 2021 Draw to be live-streamed to global audiences via World Rugby digital channels
Rugby World Cup 2021 Draw confirmed for 20 November 2020; Draw event to be held at SkyCity Theatre in the heart of Auckland; RWC 2021 Draw to be live-streamed to global audiences via World Rugby digital channels; World Rugby Women’s Rankings to be used for the first time to determine draw bandings for direct qualifiers.
World Rugby, and hosts New Zealand Rugby (NZR), have today announced the Rugby World Cup 2021 Draw will take place in Auckland on Friday, 20 November 2020.
SkyCity Theatre in the heart of Auckland’s central business district will be the location for the draw which will be streamed live for rugby fans worldwide via World Rugby’s digital channels.
Hosted in the southern hemisphere for the first time in a golden year for women’s rugby, the ninth edition of the showcase tournament will take place from 18 September-16 October 2021 across three match venues. It will be contested by 12 teams, of which nine are already confirmed.
Seven teams qualified directly for RWC 2021 courtesy of a top-seven finish at the last tournament in Ireland in 2017, defending champions New Zealand, runners-up England, bronze medallists France, USA, Canada, Australia and Wales.
Fiji and South Africa confirmed their places through the regional qualification process back in 2019, via the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup and Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship.
The remaining three places will be filled by a qualifier from Asia and Europe together with the winner of the Final Qualification Tournament, a first for a women’s Rugby World Cup, offering a second opportunity for teams to qualify.
For the first time, the World Rugby Women’s Rankings will be used to determine the draw seedings and bands for the seven direct qualifiers in bands one to three, with the five teams to emerge from the qualification process to be placed into band three and four.
The recent Rugby World Cup Board decision for the World Rugby Women’s Rankings from 1 January, 2020 to be applied represents the fairest approach. It was the last time all teams were able to play before the emergence of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic.
The bands are:
Band 1 – New Zealand, England, Canada Band 2 – France, Australia, USA Band 3 – Wales, Europe 1, South Africa Band 4 – Asia 1, Fiji, Final Qualifier winner
World Rugby Chairman Sir Bill Beaumont said: “The Rugby World Cup 2021 Draw marks an important milestone for teams and fans alike as momentum truly starts to build towards the most important international rugby tournament of 2021.”
“We are in unusual and unique times with the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic. However, working in full partnership with New Zealand Rugby and local and national authorities, we are committed to a spectacular Rugby World Cup 2021.”
“We look forward to welcoming the world’s top women’s 15s players to New Zealand and fans around the world as we look to raise the bar for women’s rugby and women in rugby in line with our important and impactful 2017-25 Women in Rugby plan.”
Rugby World Cup 2021 Tournament Director Michelle Hooper said the tournament was now less than a year away and plans were ramping up.
“The official draw is another step on the journey towards kick-off, and the buzz is building. We can’t wait to welcome all 12 teams to Aotearoa New Zealand and showcase our manaakitanga to the world. The draw will determine who will play the first matches at Eden Park and Northland Events Centre which is an exciting prospect.”
Full timings and broadcast details will be confirmed at a later stage.

As per some recent leaks, Xiaomi is going to launch another smartphone of its Redmi H series in the upcoming days. The retail name of this phone can be the Redmi Mini. There is nothing confirmed about this series yet by the company. But we always have some kind of leaks or expectations. So, let’s just quickly get into some of the expected specifications of the Redmi Mini.
The Xiaomi Redmi Mini is expected to run on the Android 10 OS and powered by a Dimensity 1000 Plus chipset. Coming to the display, this phone might feature a bright and clear (resolution of 2400×1080) 6.57″-inch display. The Dimensity chipset might be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The storage can not be further expandable via an external microSD card.
Coming to the camera, this phone might sport a 64MP rear camera module. For the selfies, this might feature a 32MP selfie snapper at the front. Good thing is, this phone is expected to support a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Regarding the battery, this phone is expected to be fueled up by a decent 4520mAh battery work with fast charging. There will be no facility for wireless charging. Like the H series phones, this phone might be supported by an infrared (IR) blaster. That means you can use it as a remote control. This phone might support the 5G connectivity too.
As pf now, we don’t have any confirmed specs regarding this. Everything we’ve just discussed based on the expectations. Hope the company will bring some official news regarding the Redmi Mini in the upcoming days.
A leaked image from Apple’s Sales Web (ASW) page has surfaced which reveals utter shocking news about the connectivity of the just-launched iPhone 12 series. We all know that iPhone 12 series will be the first of its kind to feature 5G connectivity. iPhone 12 series are dual-SIM supported phones that can support dual-4G modes in the iPhone 11 series. But now the news that came from the leaked image is that though the iPhone 12 series has dual-SIM mode then also it will not support dual-5G at the same time on both SIM cards.
To make it simple, in dual-4G a phone can operate 4G connectivity simultaneously on both the SIM-cards without compromising any connectivity. But in the latest iPhone 12 series this feature will not be replaced with 5G connectivity. Users can only use 5G connectivity on one SIM at a time while the other card will be automatically switched to 4G connectivity, whereas the dual-4G will be supported in it. So, users will be able to insert one SIM and one eSIM but can only access 5G from one of them at a single time.
This intel as being shared on r/verizon by user ctthrow1 and collected this FAQ from some documents exclusively meant for retailers and carriers. The document says, “When using two lines in Dual SIM mode, 5G data isn’t supported on either line and will fall back to 4G LTE. If customers are using eSIM only and are on a 5G-supported carrier and service plan, they’ll have 5G access. ” This clearly indicates what we explained in the above paragraph.
Apple can also update the settings via OTA updates before or by year-end. The company can also stick with this option only. This totally depends on the company what will they do in the future.
