Manchester United made history in Paris again

Manchester United stunned Paris Saint-Germain in their own ground again. After the historic comeback in UEFA Champions League, two years ago, Manchester United made a new history in Parc Des France again.

Manchester United has won 10 consecutive away games across all competition for the first time in their history. They beat Paris Saint Germain by 2-1.

Manchester United came to Paris without their captain and main defender Harry Maguire. Eric Baily, Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood were also out of this fixture yesterday.

Bruno Fernandes led the team in the absence of Maguire. He scored from the spot to give the lead to the Red Devils in the first half. PSG came back in the game in the second half after an own goal of Anthony Martial from a corner. But again, the late winner from Rashford sealed the victory for the English side.

Depending on the recent form it was quite obvious that Paris Saint Germain were the favourites to win the tie. United lost a game against Tottenham by 6-1 recently and the absence of Maguire made everyone that it will be a comfortable win for PSG with Neymar, Mbappe, and Di Maria.

But the excellent performance of Manchester United’s young squad with Axel Tuanzebe, Aaron Wan Bissaka, Scott Mctominay stop the front trio to PSG to score against them. United goalkeeper David De Gea made some excellent saves to seal the victory. He also became the Man of the Match as well.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was so happy with his team’s performance. He was delighted to see the commitments from his players. United players have given their everything on the pitch yesterday. Scott McTominay even played with just ‘one eye’ in the first half. He said, “McTominay played the first-half with ‘one eye’ as he lost one of his contact lenses.”

United will play against Chelsea in Premier League on the weekend before their Champions League clash against RB Leipzig. United will surely try to continue their form.

VIVO to sponsor UEFA European Championship 2021

Chinese mobile and electronics maker Vivo has signed off on a 4-year deal to sponsor the UEFA European Championship, according to latest media reports. This news comes to us months after BCCI and Vivo decided to suspend the IPL sponsorship for this season of the mega T20 cricketing league.

Although the financial component of the brokered deal remains unknown for the moment, VIVO will now be officially associated with another grand spectacle with UEFA Euro which is now going to be held in 2021, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The marketing director of UEFA Guy-Laurent Epstein is quoted as saying, “Vivo is a recent and modern smartphone brand and we sincerely value their commitment to excellence and dedication to giving their customers the best possible experience. From VIVO’s perspective, it looks like they want to further establish their brand presence through key areas in Europe. And what better to market and promote their products and services than through the medium of international football?

VIVO has been an active brand entity as far as sports are concerned, and have been deeply engrossed in marketing plans to make their presence felt. It is possibly why they do hold a decent amount of market share in the Asian smartphones market.

Their campaign planning has successfully worked with cricket and IPL in the past, and so have decided to delve into other sports and get a similar return on investment. They had earlier inked a deal with the BCCI for IPL main sponsorship rights which was worth Rs 2200 crores over a period of 5 years, between 2018-2022.

However now, one closed door opens another elsewhere. And that is exactly with the case with VIVO and UEFA Euro tournament, which could be a beneficial deal for both parties.

Around a week ago, Delhi Capitals’ Shikhar Dhawan had a record with which he wouldn’t have liked to be associated with. He was the player which the highest number of matches without (167) scoring an IPL century.

However, in just a week, not only did he ended this stint, he landed on the opposite spectrum as he became the first batsman to score consecutive centuries in the history of the IPL.

Dhawan scored a match-winning knock off 101 not out in just 58 balls against the mighty CSK bowling attack to take his through. He then scored a phenomenal 106 not out in just 61 balls against the Kings XI Punjab. He has scored 50+ runs in his last 4 innings.

Nvidia is the leader in the Graphics Card manufacturing market. The latest venture of striking a once in a lifetime deal with ARM has given a new boost to the tech giant. Today, however, let’s talk about another experience of the manufacturer of the graphics.

The company’s upcoming Nvidia RTX A6000 is based on Ampere GPU-based graphics card and is aimed at flagship workstation systems. The details of the forthcoming card have not been made public, but we have on our hands yet another leak, which gives out the benchmark scores of the RTX A6000. AdoredTV leaked the alleged benchmark scores, and according to sources, the RTX A6000 will be the company’s fastest workstation graphics card yet.

The upcoming RTX A6000 will be powered by a full GA102 GPU core and 84 SMs, and 10752 CUDA cores. The exact clock speeds are still unknown.

According to sources, the RTX A6000 will feature 48 GB of GDDR6 memory. The A6000 also offers 768 GB/s speeds. The system is powered through the new EPS 12V 8-pin connector. Featured on the back of the card can deliver up to 300W of power to the GPU.

It has the latest NVLINK, which offers 112.5 GB/s (bi-directional) speeds. While the cards native PCIe Gen 4 interface provides a 16 GB/s of link speed. Four DisplayPort 1.4 ports are provided on the RTX A6000.

To get the benchmark scores, the RTX A6000 was paired up against the Quadro RTX 6000. To the surprise, the RTX A6000 had a lead in almost all benchmark comparisons. The information was reported to be up to 25%. To sum it up, RTX A6000 is 11% faster than the Quadro RTX 6000.

The latest graphics card offering just an 11% lead over its predecessor is disappointing. However, with these being only leaks, we will see a performance increase when the GPU gets released in the market.

Taiwan continues to make record revenue in September

Already making some record numbers in August, Taiwan sets new examples for its revenue growth each month. Even in the global pandemic, Taiwan stands strong thanks to its heck lot of electronics shipments, including TVs, notebooks, PCs, smartphones, and many more.

Taiwan has become the hotspot for electronic advancements, thanks to its home-grown brands like TSMC, MediaTek, Acer, ASUS, and others who have helped shaped the country and made it a great place for investments.

The export orders totaled to a massive US$50.03 billion in September 2020, which is again a 10.0% sequential monthly increase in export revenue and a healthy 9.9% year-over-year. According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), this is the highest-ever monthly level, collected by Digitimes.

The total exports of US$363.74 billion for January-September grew 4.2% on year-over-year. This indeed shows how Taiwan is growing technologically and doing healthy business globally.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 9 5900X

The Ryzen 9 5950X is the flagship CPU based on Zen 3. It features 16 cores along with 32 threads. The news in the market is that the CPU will be the first one from AMD to feature a 4.9 GHz of boost clock and be the first processor to break the 641 single-threaded performance wall Cinebench R20.

The data provided in the leaks cannot be absolutely accurate, so we have to digest it with a pinch of salt. According to sources, the Ryzen 9 5900X has a single-core result of 1605 points. That is 9% faster than intel’s Core i9-10900K CPU, which has a score of 1467 points. The upcoming Ryzen 9 5950X is supposedly 18% faster in single-threaded test and 12% more quickly in the multi-threaded test when compared with the current-generation Ryzen 9 3950X

AMD’s upcoming Zen 3 based Ryzen 5000 series will be launched on November 5. As to how this new line-up will fare against its competitors remains to be seen.
