There have been some great players to grace the beautiful game over the course of history. But featuring in the top European competition and doing it year on year for a solitary club with the immense amount of loyalty and dedication, is something special.
Here we look at the six players who have spent the most amount of time with a single club and continued to appear in the Champions League time and again:
6) Sergio Ramos – 16 seasons – Real Madrid
It has been a long time since Ramos moved from Sevilla in the 2005/06 season. And ever since then, he has been a mainstay in the Real Madrid defence often even earning the tag of ‘Captain Fantastic’. The current Champions League season is in fact his 16th, and he looks commanding as ever despite the team faltering a little. Ramos has 4 Champions League trophies in his time with the Los Blancos and has also won the UEFA Defender Of The Year on a few occasions.
5) Iker Casillas – 16 seasons – Real Madrid
Unquestionably, Casillas is one of the best goalkeepers of this generation. Many Madrid fans will tell you that he was a loyal servant who represented a defiant defensive wall, and was crucial in the success of the club as well as his nation Spain. He made a representation in Madrid’s 150 games across all European competitions and has even won the coveted Champions League title three times in his career.
4) Xavi – 16 seasons – Barcelona
Part of Barcelona’s gem of a midfield which consisted of generational talents, Xavi was right at the heart of whatever the Catalan club did, often pulling the strings in the middle of the park. The Spanish midfielder really peaked alongside Iniesta and Busquets, under Pep Guardiola’s reign during the late 2000s. Xavi also won the Champions League trophy four times in his career under three different managers – Rijkaard, Guardiola and Luis Enrique.
3) Paul Scholes – 17 seasons – Manchester United
An academy product who spent his entire career playing as a one-club man, Paul Scholes was truly one of the best midfielders Manchester United ever produced. He was part of the Red Devils’ instrumental runs in the Champions League and struck fear in opponents who faced them. Scholes made a total of 134 appearances in European competitions and the won the “Big Ears” trophy twice in his time with United.
2) Lionel Messi – 17 seasons – FC Barcelona
The Argentine superstar much like a handful of few people has spent all his life with one club, in this case, FC Barcelona. Since joining the first-team as a young boy in the 2004/05 season, Messi has only emerged into an absolute powerhouse. He has won the Champions League four times now and has been very keen to land a fifth. But regardless, he is only second to Cristiano Ronaldo in the premier European competition, scoring 117 goals across 145 matches.
1) Ryan Giggs – 19 seasons – Manchester United
One of the more influential wingers, Welsh descent Ryan Giggs had tremendous endurance and stamina levels to keep performing for Manchester for a long, long time. Coming from the rival club academy of Manchester City, Giggs went onto become a club legend at United and was credited for his brilliant trickery, dribbling and had a special eye for goal. Giggs, much like Scholes, also spent his time at just the one club and won the Champions League trophy twice in 1999 and 2008.
20-year-old midfielder Angel Gomes joined Lille this summer from Manchester United. After joining Lille in a 5-year deal he was sent to the Portuguese side Boavista on loan.
Angel Gomes made his premier league debut against Crystal Palace in 2017 under Jose Mourinho at the age of 16. Angel was a very exciting prospect in his time at Manchester United. His performance at the youth level made every United fan excited. But he failed to deliver while playing for the first team like Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Brandon Williams.

Angel Gomes has very tough competition at Manchester United for his place from Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, and Donny Van De Beek. Besides that, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata were before him in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order.
Gomes has scored 2 goals in his first 4 appearances for Boavista. He has scored from the spot last day against Benfica after earning the penalty himself. He also provided an assist after that and his team won the match by 3-0.
After the match, Angel Gomes’s father said, “He accepted the challenge of Luis Campos to sign with Lille and relaunch his career at Boavista on loan from the French club, and now he is on the right track, he still has a lot to show.”
“Angel managed to show a path to the future by being one of the youngest to make his debut for Manchester United when the coach was Jose Mourinho, and that also helped a lot.”-he added.
Paul Pogba was also sent to Juventus in a permanent deal after graduating from the Manchester United academy. After that, he was bought again for a world-record fee. Will the same happen with Angel Gomes?
IPL 2020 has been a historic season so far. Nail-bitting thrillers, super overs, injuries, controversies, and records, you name it! It has been everything the fans needed during these tough times caused by the pandemic.
It took us all the 56 league games to finally get to know which four teams will make into the playoffs. Finally, the playoffs and final of IPL 2020 will be played from 5th November to 10th November in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Qualifier 1 will be held in Dubai on 5th November, followed by the Eliminator (6th November) and Qualifier 2 (8th November) in Abu Dhabi. The final will be held on 10th November in Dubai.
Today we evaluate which team has the highest possibility of winning the IPL 2020.
Mumbai Indians
We start our list with the defending champions and table-toppers Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians have been nothing but phenomenal throughout the league stage with nine wins in 14 matches. Two of their losses have been in the super over and one was probably because they rested their bowlers.
They have struck a perfect combination where every player knows and executes his roles. Therefore despite the withdrawal of Lasith Malinga and the injury of skipper Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, they have been able to sustain their winning spree.
The comeback of Rohit Sharma will add more stability to the already strong MI lineup. Quinton De Kock, Suryakumar Yadav, and Ishan Kishan have been in sublime form. Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard have been finishing the inning really well. Not to forget, three of their bowlers are in the list of top 10 highest wicket-takers of the season.

Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals started the league phase really well, however, ended up losing their way mid-way. Regardless, they’re an extremely dangerous side. Shikhar Dhawan found some form in their last game, however, will have to show consistency. Prithvi Shaw will also have to pull his socks up and perform or DC may even replace him with Ajinkya Rahane who scored a solid fifty in their last game.
Skipper Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Marcus Stoinis will have to show consistency which they displayed in the earlier phase of the tournament. Their bowling has been phenomenal with Kagiso Rabada being the highest wicket-taker and Anrich Nortje being among the wickets as well.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB has one of the most stable combinations of all teams this season as well. However, they’ll have to improve their strike rate especially in the earlier overs and make use of the powerplay. AB de Villers has been in great form and has been scoring really important runs.
Virat Kohli’s poor form will also be a concern for RCB. Also, their pace bowling has failed to achieve some consistency. The injury of Navdeep Saini and now even Chris Morris can be a serious issue for them. They’ve tried Dale Steyn and Isuru Udana but have turned out to be extremely expensive.

Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH would be extremely proud of their win over the Delhi Capitals. Skipper Warner scored a brilliant fifty and Wriddhiman Saha justified his selection over Johnny Bairstow by scoring two back to back fifties.
Their lower middle-order namely Samad and Priyam Garg should take responsibility as well. Their lack of form puts unnecessary pressure on David Warner, Manish Pandey, and Vijay Shankar.
Their bowling, however, has been great. Jason Holder has been a breath of fresh air for them. Rashid Khan has been picking up timely wickets. Sandeep Sharma and Natarajan have been doing their respective roles.

Which team has the highest possibility to win the IPL?
MUMBAI INDIANS! MI and SRH are the only teams who are entering the playoffs with some momentum. However, for SRH, it’ll be difficult as they’ll have to win 2 matches before even getting to the finals. Mumbai, on the other hand, has been there and done that! Therefore, Mumbai Indians definitely have the highest possibility to take the cup home.
We already know that Apple will soon be releasing its new ARM-based MacBooks. The company plans to do so on November 10 during its ‘One More Thing’ event. It clears all doubt about the company ditching Intel chips for its Mac productions.
According to sources, the Cupertino giant is developing a workstation-class Apple Silicon that will be found in the next version of its Mac Pro.
The company’s first Silicon Macs will be the new 13-inch MacBook Pro and its 13-inch MacBook Air. Sources claim that Apple’s engineers are currently working on a new Mac Pro. The new machine in works is said to have a compact form factor. However, whether this machine will replace the existing ones or be sold together is not yet made clear.
The machine in question seems to have enough space that can easily accommodate a variety of upgrades. New storage options to large GPU enclosures can all be included easily. It is also rumored that the iPhone maker is developing its GPU. The rumoured 5nm process based A14T desktop-class chipset is being built for iMac. The chipset is said to have its custom graphics processor by the codename of ‘Lifuka.’ If the rumors are indeed true, then Apple is probably working on a smaller Mac Pro and developing a new GPU for its upcoming workstation models.
Apple’s upcoming ARM-based chipsets are incredibly power-efficient and hence do not need a sophisticated cooling system. Thus, the company can utilize a smaller enclosure that will allow for more portability. The reduction of a sophisticated cooling solution means that the processor will maintain its peak performance even during extreme taxing workloads.
However, the estimated price tag of the machine wasn’t mentioned in the report. Those looking to purchase the next powerhouse from apple will have to wait until the company officially gives us a price tag. Further details on apple’s ‘next big thing’ remain undisclosed, but the future remains full of high-end surprises.
A recent promotional video was launched on the social media handles of the Indian Super League (ISL) and broadcasted on Star Networks. The content of the video did not go down well with the Mohun Bagan fans who were furious with the video.
The video showed the kits of ATK and Mohun Bagan being washed together to form the new colours of ATK Mohun Bagan. This has hurt the sentiments and legacy of the Mariners.
Mohun Bagan general secretary Srinjoy Bose addressed to the fans and have promised them some points to retain the legacy of the Green and Maroon brigade.
Srinjoy Bose said in his official letter: “Dear Mariners, In view of certain recent developments, I take this opportunity to bring forward certain points for all of you to be aware of. In light of recent events we have aproached Mr. Sanjiv Goenka, who took active interest and proactive steps to address the concerns of the Mariners and spoke to different stakeholders to address the issues on an urgent basis.”
“Please find below some points which has been adressed.”
We were not privy to the details of the recent promotional video launched in different social media handles of ISL and broadcasted in Star network. As soon as we noticed the commercial we get in touch with top management of ATK Mohun Bagan who took up the matter very seriously with FSDL and Star network. We have been assured that the promo which hurt the emotions of Mohun Bagan fans, will be modified. The changed version will be used in all social media handles and brodcasting channels very soon after the necessary edits.
As discussed with FSDL the issue of 3 stars on the sleeve with the ISL logo has been discussed and has been done away with.
As discussed earlier, FSDL has started modifying the statistics section in ISL official website to reflect statistics before 2020-21 to be attributed to ATKFC. ATK Mohun Bagan stats will be accumulated from season 2020-21 onwards
“ATK Mohun Bagan FC is the first team who started practice in Goa for ISL 2019-20. Inspite of multiple restrictions in UK, Europe and Australia due to the pandemic situation, all necessary steps were taken to ensure the arrival of our foreign coaching staff and players at the right time at Goa. We would like to thank the Board and Senior management team of ATK Mohun Bagan for their guidance and hard work.”
“We believe that the members and supporters are our backbone and that is what has helped us to rule Indian football since 1889 and we want our fans to create the same magic in the ground when Mohun Bagan play ISL in its new avatar. Lets cheer for more glories.”
But, some fans are still not happy with the merger and have been calling out to remove ATK. They also started a trend on Twitter #RemoveATK.
— Mariners' Base Camp – Ultras Mohun Bagan (@MbcOfficial) November 4, 2020
It is a big problem for both ATK and Mohun Bagan that fans have not taken the merger in a good way. There’s a rift between the fans and they are calling for a change in the name so that the legacy of Mohun Bagan lives on.
AMD has been gearing big time to take on Nvidia in the 4K gaming market. Until now, Nvidia always had the edge over HD gaming due to its DLSS solution uplifting its raytracing technology. But with AMD’s raytracing finally moving forward and performing exceptionally well, it seems that the company is inching closers to overtaking Nvidia in a big way.
Recent reports going around the gaming community states that AMD plans to implement its new raytracing feature to gaming titles based on Microsoft’s XDR or Vulkan Raytracing APIs. The upcoming Radeon RX 6000 RDNA 2 graphics cards will feature raytracing support in most gaming titles.
Some of the market games are proprietary standards for Nvidia’s raytracing features for its RTX line-up. However, some major game engines such as Frostbite, Unreal, Seed & Unity are based on Microsoft’s XDR APIs. As such, they will be supported by AMD’s raytracing. But some titles that run on Vulkan Raytracing are only endorsed for RTX GPUs.
The developers who use industry-standard APIs for raytracing still prefers Nvidia’s raytracing technology. When this developer starts adapting AMD’s technology remains to be seen; it is expected to be done sooner than expected. There are many drastic differences between NVIDIA’s RTX & AMD’s raytracing implementation in the same titles too.
A list of all the games that are based on Microsoft’s XDR API:
Battlefield V
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Control
Deliver Us the Moon
Dirt 5
Fortnite
Metro Exodus
Shadow of The Tomb Raider
Wolfenstein Youngblood
According to sources, AMD’s raytracing performance is on par with the RTX series on Nvidia’s. It is even though Nvidia is uplifting its technology using the DLSS solution. It means that the company has a more robust RT solution than what Nvidia has to offer. As to whether Radeon RX 6000 RDNA 2 GPU will be able to dominate the 4K gaming market remains to be seen.
2020-21 ISL is going to start on 20th November. Before the kick-off of the season, all the teams are confirming their final squads.
ATK was the champion of ISL last season. But from this season they have merged with Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC and will play as ATK Mohun Bagan FC this season.
ATK Mohun Bagan FC has confirmed their 27 men squad for the 2020-21 season. According to new rules, every club may register 35 men players. Among them, 3 will be developmental players (born after 1st January 2000).
All the teams need to register at least 5 and a maximum of 7 foreigners in the squad. Among those 7, one should belong to AFC [ Asian Football Federation] member association country.
The final confirmed squad of ATK Mohun Bagan for 2020-21 ISL is:
Midfielders: Pronay Halder, Brad Inman, Javi Hernandez, Edu Garcia, Carl McHugh, Glan Martins, Jayesh Rane, Michael Soosairaj, Boris Singh, Michael Regin, Sk Sahil, Ningombam Engson Singh
Forwards: David Williams, Roy Krishna, Manvir Singh, Md. Fardin Ali
The arrival of Tiri, Sandesh Jhingan, and Subashish Bose make the ATKMB defence more solid. The presence of David Williams, Roy Krishna upfront will also surely be a benefit for ATK Mohun Bagan FC.
ATKMB will play in AFC Cup this year as well. Before the season starts on the defending ISL Champions will play a friendly against FC Goa on the 14th of November. ATKMB’s first match is against Kerala Blasters on 20th November.
After that the all important Kolkata derby against SC East Bengal is on 27th November.
Amazon is the world’s largest e-commerce industry and not to mention that it led by none other than the world’s richest man, Jeff Bezos. The company has many competitors and is always under constant pressure. Now the company is trying out a new technique to ruin more profits. The company is now trying to handle its deliveries to rural areas in the US. Initially, the company used to rely on the US Postal Service.
The e-commerce industry used to rely on shipping hubs in rural areas under its plan called “wagon wheel.” Amazon’s wagon wheel station provided support for smaller shipping facilities to carry out amazon’s company deliveries.
As to when this new program will be launched is not made clear as of yet. But Amazon executives reported that they would soon be putting money on the company’s new delivery service. After revealing its fourth-quarter earnings, the company announced investing in its delivery infrastructure.
Amazon’s chief financial officer Brian Olsavsky stated, “I think at this point, we are not trying to cut it close, and we are erring on the side of having too much capacity.” According to sources, the company plans on increasing its fulfillment and logistics square footage by 50 percent from last year. The company revealed that it has already spent around $30 billion on leases and other capital expenditures this year.
The company officials just released a statement saying, “incredible employees and partners come together to deliver for our customers—every day and throughout the holiday season. It includes offering fast, free, and convenient delivery options for customers provided by our transportation partners and our internal delivery teams.”
However, Amazon did not provide information to confirm or refute the claims of it ditching the US postal service. As to how its new delivery system and infrastructure works remain to be seen.
If you are a smartphone enthusiast or nurture various kinds of processors, you must know about AnTuTu. It’s basically a benchmark testing platform for smartphones. Besides, it also stores the analyzed data to cook various stat reports to know about the present smartphone market status. Recently, it published its report for the third quarter of this year.
Along with various other aspects like smartphone screen resolution, processor brand, RAM size, etc, there is also a stat report that shows the percentage of people using smartphones with different screen sizes.
As per the report, the majority of the smartphones distributed during the third quarter of 2020 have 6.4-inch screens. The percentage is 17.2%. Point to note, this stat is based on the configuration of the smartphones of the AnTuTu users.
by – AnTuTu
In the second place, there are smartphones having 6.3-inch screens (14.7%), followed by 6.5-inch screen smartphones (13.6%).
Apart from all these, the chart also describes most of the market is captured by smartphones with a minimum of 6.1-inch screen sizes or above. Only 5% of smartphones have a 5.5-inch screen and 2.5% have a 5.8-inch screen.
Needless to say, it’s the trend of big screens. But Apple, going reverse of the trend, is trying to keep the screens less than 6-inches. The recently launched iPhone 12 Mini with a 5.4-inch display is the proof. Let’s see if Apple can charge the small screen smartphone market again or not.
