POCO M3 official teaser finally reveals the design of the phone

0

POCO global has finally broken the silence and the official teaser of POCO M3 is out now. The phone looks exactly the same as the leaked renders shared by 91mobiles and MySmartPrice in partnership with Ishan Agarwal. We have shown both the renders and the design matches exactly with the original teaser video. The launch of the device is finally set at 24th November starting from 20:00 GMT +8.

From the teaser video we get to see the triple-rear camera setup at the back of the phone along with the flash light placed in a rectangular module, whereas the upper area at the back around the camera looks like the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.

From the recent two renders we can see the back panel of the phones. The back panel seems to be rough textured. The close-ups on the phones shows a rectangular camera module at the back housing three camera lens along with a flash. The design around the rear camera module seems very similar with the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition.

The company has revealed some specifications of the phone but from the leaks, the rest are already known by now. We just need confirmation from the brand for these rumored specifications. The phone seems to be a budget smartphone from the company.

Specifications of POCO M3 (Revealed + Rumored)

The phone is expected to come with a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dot Drop display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB RAM. As for the cameras, the POCO M3 is tipped to offer a 48MP primary sensor. As per the TENAA specification list, the other camera details have not been revealed yet. Moreover, it is expected that the device will pack a large 6,000mAh battery and support 18W fast charging.

Google Chrome will get a new icon soon in macOS Big Sur

0

Google chrome is receiving a lot of significant updates for this year-end. The update is said to be one of the most significant updates that the browser has ever received. Now news has come that Google is not only improving Chrome for Windows but is also working on optimizing its browser for the new macOS Big Sur update.

The company started by releasing a new Chrome for Mac icon for the latest Mac update. According to the chief designer of Chrome, there are few more macOS Big Sur-themed icons for the browser in the works.

The Google browser designer, Elvin (@elvin_not_11/Twitter), recently shared a tweet. He asked the netizens which icon looks worthy enough to become the official icon for running on Macs in his tweet.

There are three icon-options to choose from. Option A gives a much flatter look than the other two. Option C received the most appreciation from Twitter users for its vibrant look. Option B, however, is between the two.

The designer also mentioned that the icons “strictly follow Apple’s icon grid.” Following the test, they noticed that “the Chrome logo looked too big.” So, the developers shrunk the logo in the current icon that they released.

Though the icons look elegant and beautiful, sources claim that there are still lots of development to be made in terms of adjustments. The users who are already running the Mac update of Chrome will be experiencing an icon change in the coming update.

Here’s how Ronald Koeman is preparing Barcelona for a Messi-less future

0

Leo Messi is without a shadow of a doubt one of, if not the single greatest player to ever play the game. While there have been stumbling blocks for La Pulga throughout his career, none have been so prominent as the one he faces right now.

A stat published by ‘The xG Philosophy’ indicates that Messi’s xG (expected goals) from open play is 4.33. However, the Barcelona captain has only managed to net one goal that was not from the penalty spot.

While Messi’s xG underperformance is the highest in La Liga, his numbers fall short to Moussa Dembele of Lyon. The Ligue 1 striker has an open play xG of 3.89 but is yet to score once this season.

While a singular statistic can only go so far as to determine things on the pitch, the fact that Messi’s career seems to be on a downward slope seems further proven by the fact that this is his worst individual performance since the start of the season in 15 years.

Though the Argentinian has not been directly involved in setting up, as well as scoring the goals as much he has in previous seasons, there is reason to believe that Ronald Koeman is indeed preparing Barcelona for a future without Messi.

Ronald Koeman wants to make five or six signings for the upcoming season

Imbibing a team spirit into the players rather than have them turn to their captain to pull them out of danger all the time is something that should have been done long ago. However, it is not too late to make amends now, and that is exactly what Koeman seems up to.

The Dutch tactician has rested Messi, as well as Frenkie de Jong for Barcelona’s Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev. With the fixtures coming thick and fast, it is important that the coach takes care of his prized assets.

Relying on the other world-class players to deal with the clash midweek could be a great way to take a step further on the project of building Barcelona back to a team.

The Regional OTT Platforms that give the best content

With a spike in the consumption of entertainment content streaming online during the lockdown, the OTT platforms are likely to come out of pandemic and work from home situations at a better pace. The path to recovery is looking a bit hard for cinema halls, hence OTT platforms can treat out new offerings. Now, even the movies have taken the OTT route for their releases without having to wait for pan-India theatre re-openings. Amidst this, regional content is gaining momentum and attracting more viewers on the OTT platforms. There is an upward graph in consumption of dubbed cinema from the South, particularly Telugu and Tamil films.

To cater to the giant demand for regional content from the audience, here are 5 regional OTT platforms that are becoming the preference for the audience for dubbed regional content in today’s world –

Nikon plans to cut 10% of its workforce

0

The coronavirus pandemic has hit the world economy in a tough way. If we talk about the average consumer spending, then the curve has shifted more products which can be used indoors. It has resulted in the sales of outdoor use gadgets to a bare minimum. There was absolutely no need for purchasing equipment like outdoor cameras, automobiles even the fashion items sold bare minimum during the days of lockdown.

As such even post lockdown when the world’s economy is starting to rise on its feet again these businesses seem to have still taken a major hit. As such major disappointing news has surfaced online. Recently, Nikon Corp. has announced its plan of reducing about 2,000 of its employees. The number amounts to a total of 10% of its workforce. The reason is anybody’s guess, it’s due to a slump in its core camera business which is brought forth by the pandemic.

Another major factor was brought forth due to the performance of its semiconductor supplier intel. The chipmaker couldn’t perform well or deliver the latest cutting edge chipsets to Nikon.

According to sources, the company is now planning to move its camera production to Thailand and also wants to discontinue domestic output. The company stated of enduring an operating loss of 26.1 billion yen ($251 million) for the second quarter compared with analysts’ estimates of a loss of 20.3 billion yen.

This is not the first company to have been suffering through the pandemic. We have already seen OneWeb almost going bankrupt due to the pandemic, though it has now been resurrected by the support from the UK administration.

The quality of captaincy is a valuable component in football, for they are usually the focal point of their team’s performances on the pitch, the person a manager seems to trust and the player many aspiring youngsters look up to as a role model. Even ISL have had some good captains over the years, and it is no different this season as well.

Here is the list of ISL captains across all the 11 teams in the seventh edition of the tournament –

1) Bengaluru FC – Sunil Chhetri

An indispensable member of Antonio Habas’ defence last season, Indian right-back Pritam Kotal was rightly given the captaincy duties for the defending champions. Versatile enough to step into central defence when required, Pritam’s experience with the national team has made him a well-rounded player as well as a leader.

3) Mumbai City FC – Amrinder Singh

One of the veteran keepers in Indian football, Amrinder Singh has spent the majority of his ISL career with Mumbai and deservedly, takes the captain’s armband. His saves and dives will all be important for Sergio Lobera’s side, and will no doubt look to infuse energy in a bid to make the Playoffs.

4) FC Goa – Edu Bedia

One of the few foreigners to not leave the team for Mumbai City along with Lobera, Edu Bedia’s performances and loyalty were rewarded in the form of club captaincy by new coach Juan Ferrando. The midfielder who is quite versatile will look to lead by example by supplying goals and assists, as Goa seek to mount a serious title challenge.

5) Odisha FC – Steven Taylor

An experienced English centre-back playing in the lower leagues of British football, Taylor comes with loads of experience and a knack of shutting out opposition forwards. The commanding defender will want to marshal his troops and maintain the squad harmony as Odisha look to perform better this time around.

6) Kerala Blasters – Costa Nhamoinesu

Recruited specially by manager Kibu Vicuna, the Zimbabwean defender brings with himself a treasure chest of skills and leadership that is necessary to get the job done. After Kerala lost defender Sandesh Jhinghan they had to find the requisite leadership profile in a centre-back and will hope Costa is the man for the task.

7) Northeast United – Benjamin Lambot

Another veteran centre-back responsible for leading the football club towards Playoffs contention, is Belgian defender Benjamin Lambot. Already featuring in the 1-0 win against Mumbai a few days back, he was solid in the game and blocked off shots to land his team the victory as well as the clean sheet.

It is always a source of pride when a World Cup winner graces the league, and that is exactly what marquee signing David Trezeguet was all about. The former Juventus FC hero was paid Rs 4.5 crores for his services and spent one of his career’s final years with Pune and scored 2 goals in 9 ISL games in the only season that he played.

As one big-name striker left, another was signed up by Mumbai for the increased reputation of the brand. And this time it was Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan who had previously played for Manchester United and Inter Milan among the bigger clubs. Forlan was paid Rs 6 crores for his services and did decently well scoring 5 goals in 11 games for the Islanders.

1) Alessandro Del Piero – Delhi Dynamos

Reminiscing Alessandro del Piero: Delhi Dynamos' marquee player from 1st season

Probably the biggest of them, Juventus’ dynamic midfield supremo Alessandro Del Piero was paid a whopping Rs 10.8 crores to play for the Delhi Dynamos. He came with fanfare and much aplomb but despite the reputation, Del Piero scored just the 1 goals in 10 ISL games and did not live up to the billing.
