ISL 2020: Chennaiyin FC has signed Enes Sipovic

Bosnia and Herzegovina defender, Enes Sipovic joins Chennaiyin FC which makes him the very first player from his country to play in ISL.

The 30-year-old defender joins Chennaiyin FC on a free transfer from Qatari Club Umm Salal SC. This is the third signing of the transfer window for them.

Enes has played for U-21 Bosnia and Herzegovina. He spent six years at Oțelul Galați in Romania and won the 2010-11 Romanian top-division championship title as well.

Enes has played in multiple teams in multiple leagues and an experienced defender as well. He has played in 218 matches in his career and scored 9 goals as well.

Chennaiyin FC’s man-in-charge Csaba László said, “Enes (Sipović) has all the qualities to succeed at CFC and in the ISL. He is an imposing presence in the air with his height and is extremely comfortable with the ball at his feet. I am sure he will strike a great partnership with Eli Sabiá in defense and will be the perfect addition to our squad in terms of guiding our Indian defenders as well. He has experience of playing in Asia, specifically in more extreme conditions like in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, which I am certain will hold him in good stead in India.”

After joining the club Enes has expressed his excitement. He said, “I was instinctive that India will be my next destination. I am very happy to be part of such a beautiful club. I have been following Chennaiyin since its very first season in 2014 under Marco Materazzi, and I am aware that it is a team that has a tremendous fanbase and is incredibly successful. I am already very excited about the new season. It will be a great experience, I am sure.”

ISL is going to start in November. After these signings, two-time champions Chennaiyin FC is ready to challenge the title again.

Thiago makes Premier League debut as Liverpool beat Chelsea by 2-0

0

It was quite the winning start for new recruit Thiago Alcantara, as Liverpool took advantage of 10-men Chelsea to secure a 2-0 victory. The first half was evenly matched as Chelsea had 2 shots on target courtesy of Timo Werner. But despite creating the momentum on counters, Chelsea just could not get out of Liverpool’s gegenpress trap.

Kai Havertz was resigned on the right flank and though he created a few chances, he would have liked to be involved more centrally at CAM. However, the match took a turn for the worse for the Blues.

In the 43rd minute just as the half was about to close, Liverpool captain Henderson played a brilliant through ball to Sadio Mane, who was hastily brought down by last man Andreas Christensen. Having given a yellow card first, referee Paul Tierney saw the VAR monitor and decided Christensen had denied a clear goal-scoring opportunity. The red card was almost instantly out.

It was then the turn of recently bought Thiago to make his Liverpool debut. Replacing Henderson, he came on and almost instantly displayed his charisma that he so abundantly has.

Pulling the strings in midfield, his impact was so good that in the 50th minute he played a string of passes with Salah, who passed it to Firmino and crossed for Mane and the Senegalese forward headed it in.

Shortly in the 54th minute, another goal came for Mane when a piece of calamitous goalkeeping from Kepa saw the winger charge forward and snatch it from him, before tapping the ball into the net. And just like that, it was game over for Chelsea at their home stadium.

But just as well as he was going for the first 20 minutes, Thiago handed Chelsea a way back into the game. Werner dribbled past two defenders to come into the box when Thiago simply barged into the striker. Without a doubt, Tierney pointed to the spot.

However, Chelsea did not take their chance and Alisson saved the penalty. Jorginho put it right into the keeper’s right side with a poor shot. But despite the foul, Klopp was happy with Thiago’s debut. He was quoted as saying, “I liked his game a lot. Defensively it was tricky for him, but offensively, with the ball, that’s him, he wants to pass the ball.”

Best iOS 14 Privacy and Security features

0

iOS 14 has begun rolling out to iPhones worldwide. The new OS comes with a plethora of updates and features. We talked about it in our previous article.

Today, however, we will be focusing on a particular type of feature which has become more important in this time and age – Privacy.

That’s right, we are talking about security and privacy enhancements available in the new iOS 14. The new update aims at making the user’s data safer than ever.

Though a lot of security features available under iOS 14. We have compiled the features which are eye-candy for privacy enthusiasts.

Location privacy

This new feature is a real deal feature in iOS 14. This feature gives, “users approximate location the apps and not the exact location of the user”.

Confused? Let me explain. If an app asks for users’ location but you don’t see any need in providing your exact location to the app then you can provide it with your approximate location. However, if you feel that this app can perform better if provided with a more accurate location then by all means you can provide your exact location.

In the location privacy section of the settings, the apps that have asked for your location will appear. A sweet little arrow that holds here different scenarios will appear. A hollow arrow indicates that the app will use your location provided certain conditions, a purple one means it has used your location recently, and a grey one means that it has used your location in the last 24 hours.

On top of all that, users will have the option to allow location access to individual apps. This feature also provides information to the users as to how their location data will be used.

This feature has tremendous benefits because some apps ask for your location but they actually don’t actually need it. Sounds like a privacy risk right? This feature allows users to share their locations without compromising their privacy.

Another privacy which according to us is an important inclusion is the Tracking feature.

Many users including me are concerned over how our data is shared and tracked across apps and websites which are owned by several companies. Now companies might claim that this tracking is done to enhance our user experience. But it for once need to have the authority to know if Facebook is tracking me when I am browsing through Myntra!

But unfortunately, this feature will not be available until 2021 as Facebook and other companies have complained to Apple regarding how this feature will limit the performance of their Algorithms.

Sniff Out Bad Passwords

iOS 14 comes with a new password monitoring feature. This feature for once is really important in a country like ours. With some intelligent people keeping their wife and children’s names as their passwords and then complaining about their account being hacked.

People sure are hypocrite about technology.

This new feature, however, tells you if the passwords which you have kept for your accounts are problematic or not. I mean some passwords are too easy to guess and some folks keep the same password for all their accounts. “NO Leanord, Kal-El is not a strong password”.

This feature will even recommend the changes to be done to make the password strong.

iOS 14 also offers other notable privacy features. It’s App Store has asked the developers to be more transparent about the data they collect from the users. Users can this before they download an app.

Apple has always been too strict regarding its user’s privacy. But iOS 14 takes the bar one step higher. I for one recommend users to go through entire privacy features provided in iOS 14.
