For a couple of days, we’ve been listening to a lot of news regarding Huawei‘s upcoming foldable smartphone, named Huawei Mate X2. Earlier reports that the company will hold a press conference to announce its upcoming Huawei Mate X2 later this month. But today, Huawei has confirmed the launch date of the foldable device that is on February 22, 2021.
Coming to its predecessors, Huawei had launched the Huawei Mate X in 2019 and last year it had launched the Huawei Mate Xs. But those were equipped with an out-folding design which is not in the case of Mate X2 as it is said to get arrived with an in-folding design (as per the launch poster released). Another good thing is that the main design will be different from the Galaxy Z Fold 2 although both are foldable.
As per some rumors out there, the Huawei Mate X2 will run on the Android 10 OS and will be powered by the Kirin 9000 5nm chipset. As it is a foldable device, there will be definitely two displays. One is expected to be 8.01-inch having a resolution of 2480 x 2220 pixels whereas, on the front side, it is expected to be another one with a size of 6.45-inch that delivers a resolution of 2270 x 1160 pixels.
Coming to the camera section, this phone is expected to offer a quad-rear camera setup which includes a 50MP primary sensor along with three other sensors of 16MP, 12MP, and 8MP. For selfies, this phone could arrive with a 16MP selfie snapper at the front. It is said that this phone will have the support for 10x hybrid zoom by its rear camera setup.
The Huawei Mate X2 is expected to be fueled up by a 4,400mAH battery supported by 66W of fast charging. In terms of dimension, this phone measures 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2mm and weighs around 295 grams.
Here is a similar product like this one. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G can be a good choice for you with all kinds of support from Google.
India has planned to invest in one of the most abundant elements on earth that are hydrogen. Nirmala Sitharman. The finance minister announced the National Hydrogen Mission project during the budget 2021-22 to profit from this universally available element.
According to Chaitanya Giri, this natural energy source will reveal with some of India’s biggest companies like Reliance, Tatas, Mahindras, and Indian Oil, a man with space and ocean studies with the Mumbai-based think tank Gateway House who publishes a paper on the Methane Economy.
It is informed that the need of the hour is a coalition of the stakeholders as Hydrogen Council or the European Hydrogen Coalition. Giant companies like Indian Oil, the Tatas, the Mahindras, and the Eicher will be part of the coalition; then Reliance will also become a part.
The Necessity of the Hydrogen coalition in India
It is as huge as one company can’t pull this off alone. It will need the auto sector, fuel companies, speciality chemicals, and advanced materials industry to work together.
If India wants to make this a feasible solution, it doesn’t need only just fuel. It will also need cars that can access it; it will also need fueling stations and technology to fixed it safe as Hydrogen is an explosive element by nature. Already Germany has started a coalition in an excellent process and incredibly step forward. They are targeting to setup 400 hydrogen fueling stations by 2023. They had planned to use Hydrogen Council to the best possible extent.
India also approaches Norway, Sweden, or New Zealand to make a blueprint of the system. All of this countries population are only one-fourth of the size of India’s urban cities. Norway consists of only 55 lakh people while only Mumbai consists of two crore people.
The Process of making Hydrogen
India only has only two approaches to collect Hydrogen. One of the processes is the electrolysis of water, though water is a scarce resource and another resource is the natural gas that can be broken into two parts Hydrogen and one part Carbon. We can use Hydrogen as a fuel and the leftover carbon in making the speciality materials for the different sectors like space, aerospace, auto, shipbuilding, electronics, and many more.
They also have planned about one more direct approach, absorbing the Methane from the air and using scrubbers you can convert that gas into carbon and hydrogen.
Europe, Saudi Arabia, and the US also have started to work on the prototypes. They are trying to implement this technology on the ground and adopt these technologies in a way that they have a sufficient amount of fuel.
Lithium batteries and Electric Cars
In this coming time, electric cars are the upcoming new flavour of the season but the use of lithium batteries has to be faced many challenges. The main problem is that the maximum of the lithium batteries is imported and there will be a ‘range anxiety’ issue. Where electric carts can cover 200-250 kilometres, there Hydrogen cars can cover twice the distance if not more.
It indicates less fueling and less stress for the drivers. The quantity of hydrogen is more than that of the lithium in the world. If this idea of the Hydrogen coalition has been implemented successfully, it will be a good alternative for conventional internal combustion engines. It will also be beneficial to fulfil the needs of India’s growing population.
A few days ago MediaTek had launched its two new processors: Dimensity 1200 and a toned-down version of it, Dimensity 1100. Recently, a leak has come out regarding Vivo that it is going to launch a phone on March 6, 2021, which will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset. As of now, the retail name of the device has not been confirmed. But it is likely to be the Vivo S9.
On the other hand, an upcoming Vivo smartphone has been surfaced online, stating that it will run on the latest Android 11 OS and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The model number we have got of that device is V2072A. If this particular device will be the upcoming Dimensity 1100 powered smartphone by Vivo, then it is expected to named as Vivo S9.
Apart from Vivo, some other Chinese smartphone manufacturers are also in the queue of making affordable smartphones powered by the two latest MediaTek Dimensity chipsets (1200 and 1100). Maybe in the next couple of months, we will see more devices from Redmi and Realme powered by the mentioned chipsets as they have picked the Dimensity 1200 SoC for their upcoming phones in 2021.
Regarding the two chipsets, they are very same in many manners but have slightly different bins. The Dimensity 1200 has one A78 core which clockes up to 3.0GHz, three A78 cores with 2.6GHz speed, and four A55 cores operating at 2.0GHz which are power-efficient in nature. To know more about Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1100, have a look at this: MediaTek announced 6nm Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1100 chipsets.
Electronic Arts have revealed the company’s result of the quarter ending December 31, 2020, and the company has used the tag – “strong” quarter, but the truth is, it was rather flat. The total revenue of Q3 was $1.673 billion, just short of EA’s expectation – $1.6675 billion. The net income was $211 million, down over 60% from $349 million a year ago.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many game publishers have gone through a major benefit for their service. Outside EA’s usual sports offerings like FIFA 21 and NHL 21, the release schedule of EA’s Q3 seems very light, consisting of only Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, Medal of Honor: Above and beyond, and Star Wars: Squadrons.
Battlefield on the way:
The company expects revenue of $1.317 billion and a net loss of $19 million in Q4 2021. This is for the upcoming $152 million income tax charge. It suggests that EA is not going to release any major game in Q4.
EA has promised that a new entry in the Battlefield series is going to happen in FY2022. One Star Wars game also might arrive before the end of the year. EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said Battlefield development is “way ahead” of schedule. Andrew Wilson, EA CEO said about the company’s most recent results…
“We’re bringing great entertainment to hundreds of millions of people all over the world. Our amazing teams continue to deliver exceptional, high-quality experiences as more players connect with their friends and engage deeply with our games. With our expansion plans for EA Sports, strong catalogue of owned IP, leading live services, and ability to span every platform, we are growing to reach an even larger audience.”
We can say that Electronics Art is still in a good position with its strong live-service. Let’s hope EA will deliver its best in 2021.

Jeff Bezos has a formulation about one-way doors—decisions that are irreversible and permanent, and two-way doors—decisions that can always be unwound. On Tuesday, Bezos stepped through what’s almost certainly a one-way door as he said he will resign as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amazon and become executive chairman later this year. His longtime head of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Andy Jassy, will take over the day-to-day control.
With this resignation comes, if not in entirety, at least a partial end to one of the most epic runs in modern business history. Yet, the move seems to be natural and even inevitable. Over the last 25 years, Amazon witnessed one of the most fertile periods of any American business ever.
The company was first just an idea at the Wall Street hedge fund D. E. Shaw & Co., where Bezos was a vice president; before becoming an online bookseller and high-flying dot-com stock the late 1990s. Bezos then formulated and guided the company to make new inventions like the Kindle, Amazon Prime, and AWS.
Over the last decade, under Bezos’ leadership, Amazon achieved a $1.7 trillion market capitalization, where it currently occupies the same rarified trillion-dollar air as Microsoft Corp. and Apple Inc.
Bezos’s resignation reflects an uncomfortable reality for one of the wealthiest people in the world: The walls of his particularly distinguished empire have been collapsing for some time. It’s not easy being Jeff Bezos, especially in these times. He presides over a collection of properties apart from Amazon, including The Washington Post, several philanthropies, and a space company, Blue Origin LLC, that lags far behind its chief rival, Elon Musk’s SpaceX.
Let’s take a look at the ways Bezos’s various assets have collided over the past few years. His ownership of The Washington Post consistently angered Donald Trump and his administration and arguably cost Amazon the Pentagon’s $10 billion JEDI cloud computing contract, which the former U.S. President’s Defense Department awarded to Microsoft. In early 2020, on his trip to India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declined to meet with him, and a senior official criticized the Post’s coverage of the country. Union organizers have been seen consistently protesting Amazon’s treatment of its blue-collar workforce and periodically show up in front of Bezos’s homes.
Bezos and his empire have received a lot of criticism, many are reasonable and can be addressed. But Bezos’ own time, the most constrained resource in his web of conflicting business holdings, is something that can’t be easily reconciled. A part of his Wednesdays and weekends were spent at Blue Origin, his Kent, Washington-based space company, which may no longer be enough. Blue Origin is two years older than SpaceX but despite the fact that Bezos funds the company by selling $1 billion of his Amazon stock every year, so far the company has little to show for.
The Blue Origin website proclaims, “We are not in a race, and there will be many players in this human endeavor to go to space.” But of course, practically everyone in the space industry understands that Musk is flying literal circles around Bezos. SpaceX regularly flies into orbit and to the International Space Station (ISS) and also recently announced plans to take paying civilians into orbit. In his email to Amazon employees on Tuesday, Bezos said stepping down will give him more time to focus on “other passions,” including Blue Origin. “I’ve never had more energy, and this isn’t about retiring,” Bezos wrote.
Another potential reason for Bezos’ resignation from active duty at Amazon could be that things from here out could potentially become a lot less fun. Amazon just cleared $100 billion in quarterly sales for the first time and reaching $200 billion may not be as satisfying an endeavor.
There are complicated, maturing businesses to oversee, take, for example, the Amazon Marketplace, which consists of a crowd of dissatisfied merchants who sell on Amazon.com and have constant complaints of fraud and unfair competition from overseas sellers. Regulatory challenges are also looming large in Washington and Brussels. Several U.S. states, as well as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), are examining Amazon’s conduct, though the investigation status is unclear. When Bezos testified virtually last July in front of the U.S. House antitrust subcommittee alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, he did perfectly fine—but looked like he would rather be building rockets or doing just about anything else.
ANdy Jassy. Image: AllThingsD
Amazon now has an accomplished and disciplined leader in Jassy, who performs well in the spotlight. He also presents a somewhat humbler target for Amazon’s political opponents. Jassy was Bezos’s first “shadow,” or technical assistant, at the company. In the late ’90s, Jassy made his first mark on the founder as a new graduate from Harvard Business School, by inadvertently hitting him in the head with a kayak paddle during a recreational game of broomball. Fast forward to now, he has steered AWS to a $50 billion annual rate of sales, for a business just 15 years old, which is an extraordinary accomplishment. “It’s really hard to build a business that sustains for a long period of time,” Jassy said on the virtual stage at the AWS Re: Invent conference last December, according to Bloomberg. “To do it, you will have to reinvent yourself many times over.”
Bezos promised employees that he intends to stay active at the company and to “focus my energies and attention on new products and early initiatives,” much as he did during the early days of Alexa and the Kindle. Brian Olsavsky, Amazon’s chief financial officer, said on a call with reporters that Bezos “will be involved in many large, one-way door issues,” the sort of practically irreversible decisions that include major acquisitions. This is no doubt a comfort for investors if there’s one thing they’ve learned about Bezos over the last 25 years of his reign, it’s to trust that he knows exactly which door to go through at precisely the right time.
