MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti gets listed by a Vietnamese retailer with outrageous prices

In recent news, the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti lineup got listed online and this time it’s from a Vietnamese retailer. According to sources, MSI’s RTX 3080 Ti custom models are listed & priced at an outrageous $3000 US.

There have been many leaks online of the retailers selling the custom variants of the RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards, and recently we have even seen the leak of the custom SUPRIM X variants. And the latest listing by the Vietnamese retailer makes the addition of a third variant, the Gaming X Trio, which completes the MSI RTX 3080 Ti custom lineup.

Coming to the pricing of the MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti SUPRIM X, it will be the most expensive variant with a price of 73,700,000 Vietnamese Dong, which converts to around $3200 US.

Next is the MSI Gaming X Trio, which retails for 71,489,000 Dong or around $3050 US and finally, we have the entry-level MSI Ventus 3X OC, which is listed for 69,399,000 Dong or $2900 US. According to sources, the RTX 3080 Ti will have an MSRP of around $999 in the US, but retailers are charging 2X or 3X for the card.

The increase in the demand for the high-performing graphics cards and the decrease in the supply of the cards has increased by the graphics cards. The GPUs are also being procured by the crypto miners, which again creates a problem for the availability of the cards.

Asus has not shared any official image of the upcoming ZenFone 8 series smartphone nor they have mentioned how many smartphones will the series have. But from the very beginning, several reports were claiming there will be two different smartphones within the series. Recently 91mobiles has shared some exclusive renders and information about both the Zenfone 8 series smartphones.

The ASUS ZenFone 8 series will have two smartphones and they are – ASUS ZenFone 8 and ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip. As per the report, both smartphones will have Snapdragon 888 SoC but both will look totally different. The vanilla version will have only a simple but small body with respect to the other one. The Flip version will retain the flip camera design like the ZenFone 7 smartphone.

Coming to the design of the Asus ZenFone 8 it seems that the phone will have a very simple design with a simple punch hole cut display and dual-rear cameras at the back. It seems that there will be two different colour variants of this smartphone. ZenFone 8 is a compact smartphone with only a 5.92″ screen size while the ZenFone 8 Flip will have a 6.67″ AMOLED display. Headphone jack and Type-C port is also present in this smartphone.

The design of the ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip is similar to its predecessor. The phone has a edge to edge display at the front and no notch and punch hole cut because the rear camera module flips 180-degrees to become a selfie camera when required. Concerning the recent fallout with China, India has promptly avoided any partnership with the Chinese telecom giants for the set up of 5G services. But soon, both the former tech partners are reported to begin their trial operations for the new network in the Asia continent.

According to recent sources, Bharti Airtel Ltd., Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd., Vodafone Idea Ltd., and state-run Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. have all tied up with equipment makers Ericsson AB, Nokia Oyj, Samsung Electronics Co., and state-run Centre for Development of Telematics.

Reliance Jio, on the other, is also reported to conduct trials using its technology. The trial duration will be for six months, including two months for procurement and equipment setup. All the telecoms of the country have decided to avoid Huawei Technologies Co. and ZTE Corp.

All major tech powers globally, including the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, have all but raised flags about the Chinese companies having links with their government. India had earlier allowed Huawei to participate in its 5G trials; however, after its standoff with china near its border, it broke ties with Huawei once and for all. India banned ByteDance Ltd.’s viral short-video service TikTok and dozens of other Chinese apps, citing threats to its sovereignty and security.

Due to the pandemic, the increase in demand for digital entertainment content and the growing requirement for high-speed data and connectivity have made the wireless carriers keen to roll out a high-speed wireless network that can offer a better user experience streaming, gaming and entertainment. Analysts believe that 5G could be the catalyst for India’s digital economy that can reach $1 trillion by 2025.

Both the rivals, Jio and Bharti Airtel will soon be conducting field tests for its 5G networks and it’s a matter to see who leads the country first in the 5G era.

Lenovo, one of the worlds leading PC makers has not had some eye-popping performance in Quarter one of 2021, however, that doesn’t mean that the company’s devices are of any less demand.

The growing demand for remote learning and the push for online creativity learning and work from home has all but increased the demand for high-performing and portable tablet devices.

Lenovo, a pioneer in the tablet market, has now unveiled its new tablet namely the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021. Everyone expected it to call the new tablet the Yoga Tab 13, however, it chooses the Xiaoxin brand. For those who don’t know, Xiaoxin is the company’s brand which it releases only in China. It’s expected that the OEM will launch the new device as Yoga Tab 13 in its other markets.

As of now, the OEM has not released any of the specific details about the new Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021, however, the manufacturer has still unveiled some of the crucial details of its upcoming tablet.

According to the OEM, the latest tablet is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is a re-brand of the Snapdragon 865 Plus that Qualcomm released in 2020, itself an overclocked Snapdragon 865.

The Snapdragon 870 powers a large display, but the limit of its capacity has not been made known to the OEM. Other information confirmed by the OEM, the display is OLED and that it runs up to 90 Hz. The display operates natively at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels too and has a 600 nit peak luminance.

The Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 is Dolby Vision, TÜV, and HDR 10 certified. The company should eventually reveal the tablet’s full specifications on its Chinese website.

Oppo expanding its wearable portfolio has launched the new Oppo Band Vitality Edition and Oppo Enco Air TWS in China. Notably, the Oppo Enco Air TWS already made its official appearance in Italy last year. The new Oppo products are launched alongside the new Oppo K9 5G smartphone and the Oppo TV K9 in China.

Amidst the ongoing pandemic, India is the country that has been affected the most with the highest number of active cases in the world. According to recent sources, Facebook has partnered with the Indian government to roll out a vaccine finder tool on its mobile app in India. The tool will help people to identify nearby places to get vaccinated.

Facebook, the social media leader, has announced a USD 10 million grant for emergency response efforts for the COVID-19 situation in India. Its newly developed vaccine tracker tool will allow users to find the nearest vaccine center locations and their hours of operation. The data will be shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

The tracker tool will also have walk-in options only for 45 years and above along with a link to register on the Cowin portal and schedule vaccination appointments.

The social media company stated that “Partnering with the Government of India, Facebook will begin rolling out its Vaccine Finder tool on the Facebook mobile app in India available in 17 languages to help people identify places nearby to get the vaccine.”

It also stated its plan of joining hands with NGOs and agencies — namely, United Way, Swasth, Hemkunt Foundation, I Am Gurgaon, Project Mumbai, and US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) — to deploy the funds announced to help build up a stock of critical medical supplies that includes over 5,000 oxygen concentrators and other life-saving equipment like ventilators, BiPAP machines.

In the crisis of emergency, Facebook stated that the COVID-19 Information Center and in Feed will have information on how to seek emergency care and how to manage mild COVID-19 symptoms at home, and this will be provided by UNICEF India.

The Chinese giant, OPPO has launched the OPPO K9 5G smartphone in their home country China. It comes as the next version of the Oppo K7 5G smartphone and was unveiled last year.

The K9 5G handset features a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a punch-hole design. It comes with Full HD+ and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The smartphone is supported with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Also, the company states that the smartphone is integrated with a sixth-generation in-screen fingerprint reader.
