Fabrizio Romano compares Haaland and De Ligt situations

0

Speaking on the recent tour of Spain that Mino Raiola embarked on with Erling Haaland’s father, Alf Inge Haaland, Fabrizio Romano mentioned on the Here We Go podcast that this is one of the tendencies of the super agent. He is used to meeting with interested clubs multiple times before he moves one of his players there.

The Italian journalist drew a comparison to what Raiola did in the case of Matthijs De Ligt moving from Ajax to Juventus. The player had already decided months before the end of the season that he wanted to move to a top club, and Raiola started negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and other clubs across the continent who were interested in his services.

After multiple meetings and understanding the project with all of them, the player ultimately ended up moving to the Serie A champions and is now a part of their future for years and years to come.

It is also common happening to see Raiola demand a release clause for his clients, with Erling Haaland and De Ligt as examples. The Dutch international has a release clause in his contract with the Bianconeri and will be valid in 2022, and it is the same situation as Haaland minus the crazy demand.

The centre-back’s release clause is valued at a staggering €150 million. Juventus are currently rebuilding with young players like Federico Chiesa, Weston McKennie, Dejan Kulusevski and De Ligt who is a key player so they probably won’t sell him unless they get a big bid for him this or the next summer.

North Korea back out of Summer Olympics in Tokyo

0

North Korea has decided to pull out of the upcoming summer Olympics to be held this year in an attempt to protect their athletes from contracting the coronavirus. The sports ministry came up with the decision rather regretfully, as they had hoped that the Tokyo Olympics would help promote inter Korean relationships.

“The committee decided not to join the 32nd Olympics Games to protect athletes from the global health crisis caused by the coronavirus,” the official statement read.

The decision comes in the wake of the fact that North Korea reportedly does not have any COVID cases at all. However, experts believe that the real story is much graver than that in circulation and being put out.

Reactions have already started coming in from various quarters. South Korea has expressed regret over the decision of their neighbours while Japanese Olympic Minister Tamayo Marukawa told media that he is waiting for more details and an official communication.

In the 2016 Olympics, North Korea won two golds, three silvers, and two broznes. Their contingent included 22 athletes along with a massive support staff, numbering around 230 people..

The decision could have a domino effect in the sense that it could pave the way for more countries to pull out of the Olympic Games due to a similar fear for their athletes.

Mi 11i 5G vs Mi 11 Lite 5G/Youth Edition: The Difference you need to know

Xiaomi’s Mi has launched two new smartphones which have some robust and attractive features. We are talking about Mi 11 Lite 5G/Youth Edition and Mi 11i 5G. Let’s see which smartphone is better than the other.

Display

Mi 11i 5G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ E4 Super AMOLED punch-hole display and comes with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the other hand, Mi 11 Lite 5G has a slightly smaller screen of 6.55 inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It comes with a smaller refresh rate of 90 Hz. Mi 11i 5G proving to a better option on the basis of display.

Processor

List of Smartphones powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset

Mi 11i 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Mi 11 Lite 5G is powered by the weaker Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G. An easy win for the former smartphone.

Camera

Both smartphones have a triple camera setup on the rear side of the device. Mi 11i features a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies and video chats, you will be offered a 20MP selfie snapper at the front.

Mi 11i 5G

On the other side, Mi 11 Lite has a much weaker primary sensor. Its triple camera module packs a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5 MP macro sensor. The selfie snapper of this device is the same as Mi 11i. Due to the presence of a stronger primary sensor, we are inclined more towards Mi 11i.

Battery

The Mi 11i is fueled up by a bigger 4,520 mAH battery cell and is paired with a faster 33W fast-charging support when compared to Mi 11 Lite which draws energy from a 4,250 mAH battery cell and has similar fast-charging support of 33W.

Price

Mi 11 Lite comes in two storage options:

  • 8 GB + 128 GB – 2,299 Yuan or 350 US Dollars
  • 8 GB + 256 GB – 2,599 Yuan or 395 US Dollars

Mi 11i also comes in similar two options:

  • 8 GB + 128 GB – Rs 55,609
  • 8 GB + 256 GB – Rs 59,893

Our Thoughts

From the comparison above, it is very clear that Mi 11i is better than Mi 11 Lite in every domain. With a bigger screen and higher refresh rate, better camera specs, and a more powerful battery cell, the Mi 11i is already ahead. Overall better features explain a bit higher price. That is very much expected. The presence of the Snapdragon 888 SoC makes it more obvious that we should have Mi 11i’s corner.

Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is back from the dead

According to fresh sources, it is being reported that Nvidia is planning to resume the supply of one of its greatest gaming graphics cards to date, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. Sources indicate that a user has received a freshly produced batch of GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards after sending his old 1080 Ti for RMA.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is probably one of the best cards ever produced by team green, and the flagship Pascal graphics card was launched nearly four years ago. The graphics card is based on the Pascal GP102 GPU, and it offers a huge performance uplift over the previous Maxwell generation flagships.

When the card was launched it utterly crushed its competition and it took AMD several years to launch a high-end answer to NVIDIA. It was only at the end of last year did AMD made a competitive comeback in the high-performance and enthusiast gaming graphics card segment with its Big Navi GPUs.

So coming to the latest news, according to the Korean Forums, a user RMA’d his old GTX 1080 Ti graphics card and received a new one and what’s surprising is that the card has a production date of 2021. If the card is indeed a newly produced one, then it doesn’t make sense to produce new batches of a card that has been replaced by newer offerings, or even if it was to serve warranty, most replacement units are produced early on rather than four years after launch.

But, we have already heard that NVIDIA resumed production of its older GTX 1050, GTX 1650, and RTX 2060 series graphics cards to fight gaming graphics card and GPU shortages. And since the current chip technology is at a loss owing to the global semiconductor crisis, it might be a desperate attempt by Nvidia to make its cards a dominant product in the market.

iOS 14.5 Beta code leak suggests that Apple TV 6 might support a 120 Hz refresh rate

The Apple TV 6 is rumored to be a hardware beast, capable enough to run games on the Apple Arcade service. But, there aren’t any software updates to support the excellent hardware. Reportedly, Apple’s TV software doesn’t have high refresh rate support, which makes the experience a rather less enjoyable one.

However, things are heading towards a change. According to sources, the latest iOS 14.5 Beta code leak consists of a long-awaited addition. The latest code leak has multiple references to tvOS’ PineBoard, with 9to5Mac reporting those references as ‘120Hz’ and ‘supports120Hz’. It suggests that the Apple TV 6 could provide 120Hz support right off the bat.

The current hardware on the Apple TV features an HDMI 2.0 port which is limited to 4K and 60Hz. Thus, not even a software update will lift this limitation. With the Apple TV 6, however, we could see an HDMI 2.1 port inclusion, which supports the 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. With the higher refresh rate option, users can experience next-level fluidity that is introduced when enabling the 120Hz mode.

According to sources, the Apple TV 6 will come with appropriate hardware to play gaming titles at a consistent 120FPS. To make the device a complete beast, it is reported to feature the A14 Bionic, the same monster of a processor that powers the current iPhone 12 series.

But, the inclusion of the A14 Bionic is still a rumor, and it’s not confirmed as to whether the hardware will be included. Earlier it was also reported that the device will feature the A12X Bionic and also an advanced cooling solution. Assuming the new Apple TV does arrive with powerful internals, we do not believe operating continuously at 120Hz would be such a problem for it. However, many rumors are surrounding the upcoming Apple TV and it’s best to wait for some official news to arrive.

2 more groundstaff and one plumber test Covid-19 positive at Wankhede ahead of IPL 2021

The problems regarding conducting IPL 2021 at Mumbai are increasing day by day for BCCI. 2 more groundstaff and one plumber tested Covid-19 positive at Wankhede today.

An MCA source told ANI on Tuesday, “Two more groundstaff members and one plumber returned with positive Covid-19 results on Monday. Earlier, 10 groundstaff members had tested positive for Covid at the Wankhede.”

“There is a club house inside the Wankhede Stadium, all the groundstaff will stay there till the Mumbai leg is over in order to conduct the IPL smoothly.”- he added.

The COVID-19 cases are rapidly growing all over the country once again. Maharashtra is at the worst condition among all the other states in India. Maharashtra Government announced new restrictions including a night curfew in the state and a “strict lockdown” over the next weekend from Friday 8 pm to Monday 7 pm on Sunday.

The first phase of IPL is scheduled to be played in Mumbai. Recently, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly confirmed that the venue will not be changed at any cost.

But today an official said, “You do get a little concerned when you hear such things days before the start of the tournament. We have all been following protocols to the core, but obviously, when such a piece of news comes in, it makes us a little wary. We are looking at keeping things as tight as possible. Have to be on our guard.”

RCB’s Devdutt Padikkal, Delhi Capitals’ Axar Patel and KKR’s Nitish Rana were tested COVID positive earlier. However, Nitish Rana has fully recovered and he has also started training along with the KKR squad.

OnePlus Nord N10 successor ‘Ebba’ receives BIS certification

0

OnePlus had launched the Nord 5G in India last year and after that, it had actually stopped launching any other Nord devices in India. The company has Nord N10 5G and Nord 100 smartphones launched globally but these two cheaper versions of the original Nod 5G did not make it to India. Almost after a year, the alleged successor of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G has been spotted in the BIS certification.

Image

The upcoming Nord smartphone is expected to be the recently hinted Nord N1 5G, from the company. This upcoming smartphone has the codename ‘Ebba’ as mentioned by OnLeaks in his Voice article. He mentions it as the ‘successor’ of the Nord N10. Not much about this phone has surfaced yet, other than some renders shared by OnLeaks in his Voice article.

From the images, we can see a triple rear camera setup at the back and a huge 6.49″ display with a left-aligned punch-hole cutout for housing the front camera. The smartphone is 8.4mm thick and has a 3.5mm audio jack. This time we might get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. According to OnLeaks, the phone has a glossy plastic back and shiny metal frame around the sides. The phone will have a Type-C charging port and the 3.5mm audio jack will remain at the bottom of the phone along with the speaker grills.

The upcoming Apple TV might come with 120 Hz support

According to a few reports, a new-generation Apple TV is in the making and we might see it launched very soon. This TV is reported to have an improved chipset and storage for better streaming for the users. We have always seen rumors of the new Apple TV but now 9to5Mac has found references to 120 Hz support in the tvOS 14.5 beta code.

This suggests that the upcoming Apple TV might sport a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. Terms like “120 Hz” and “supports 120 Hz” have been added to tvOS’s PineBoard in the latest build. This is a huge jump from the Apple TV which is sold in the market currently. It has only up to 4K video at 60 Hz support.

Due to hardware limitations, the current Apple TV cannot stream 120 Hz content. This is because of the HDMI 2.0 port which is not technically sounded to run a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. Now, we might see an HDMI 2.1 port that supports refresh rates on content up to 120 Hz. Not only this but it also an upgraded bandwidth up to 48 Gbps. Apart from this, it has a resolution of up to 10K, Dynamic HDR, eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and a few other features.

To better the streaming experience, a strong GPU and higher RAM capacity is provided to the TV. This helps the content of a high refresh rate to run smoothly. If these reports are believed to be true, we are set to see major improvements in features of Apple TV and this will delight all the Apple users. Although, these are still just some leaks and we should wait for more information and then reach a conclusion.

The phone has no notch or punch-hole display at the front. Now coming to the most interesting part of the phone, the backside of the phone has been divided into three parts. Among which the middle island has all the necessary mechanics, whereas, the other two sides of the island are kept crystal shiny clear, where our fingers will rest while playing games.

The middle island at the back of the phone includes a physical cooling fan cutout where we can see red light glowing from inside. There is a display on the island which displays the Lenovo’s Legion logo and it can be customized with different RGB lights for different purpose as well. We will get two cameras which are also placed on the same island along with a LED flash and a microphone. At the top of the Legion logo we can see LEGION branding.

On both sides of the phone, we can see air vents that will inhale and exhale cold and hot air respectively. A side of the phone will also feature a pop-up selfie camera and this time it will look less flashy than the older version.

The Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro will come equipped with a 6.92″ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 144hz refresh rate. The 5500mAh battery will come supported with 90W fast charging. The phone will obviously run on Android 11. Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro will be equipped with a dual turbofan super-liquid-cooled integrated cooling system.
