#FindCelebration outlines the story of a young boy in Kochi and his family comes together to celebrate festivities together. The film transitions from the boy giving her grandmother a flower and getting a hug; to preparing achappams and capturing the joyous moments of the entire family in a selfie. This campaign is a visual representation of how products, big or small, come together to help customers celebrate the festive season.

TCS and BSNL finalising their deal for nationwide 4G BSNL network launch

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) are close to finalising a $2 billion (Rs 16,000 crore) deal to deploy the state-run telco’s 4G network.

According to the two businesses, disagreements over price and other business issues have been resolved, allowing the Tata group-led consortium to become India’s first domestic provider of telecom network solutions in a market dominated by multinational corporations.

The network equipment for BSNL is anticipated to be produced locally by Tejas Networks, a division of Tata Sons, the organisation that also owns TCS.
There are 111 million wireless subscribers served by the state-run telco.

A core 4G solution and radio equipment are being developed by TCS in collaboration with the government-owned Center for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), a developer of telecommunications technology.

It wasn’t until press time that BSNL, TCS, and Tejas confirmed the deal’s worth.
A successful launch of BSNL’s 4G network might catapult India into the exclusive club of nations with sophisticated telecom network technology, which includes the US, Sweden, Finland, South Korea, and China. China’s Huawei, Sweden’s Ericsson, Finland’s Nokia, and Korea’s Samsung are some of the market leaders, with Samsung also emerging as a major player.

Analysts predict that the Indian group can compete for a piece of the $500 billion global telecom equipment market if it develops a local 5G network solution.

According to DD Mishra, senior director analyst at Gartner, once the 5G solution has been proven, it would also enable TCS and Tejas Networks to market their services to both domestic private telcos and international operators.

Due to worries about national security, the government has been pushing for self-reliance in the telecommunications industry recently. Chinese companies like Huawei and ZTE have been prohibited from taking part in India’s 5G rollout as a result of the political and military standoff with China, while strict restrictions have been placed on others.

Loss-making Since 2019, BSNL has been preparing to deploy 4G services, but in 2020, it was compelled to cancel a tender because of onerous requirements for domestic enterprises. It was then instructed to solely use equipment from indigenous manufacturers.

The introduction of 4G services, according to the government, will be crucial to the ailing telco’s efforts to improve its ability to compete with private sector rivals like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel and to restart operations.

The most recent agreement follows the carrier’s Rs 1.64 lakh bailout package, which included a spectrum award, the introduction of 4G, and cash for operational and capital expenses, among other things.

In a Rs 200 crore proof of concept, BSNL has worked with TCS, Tejas, and C-DoT to test domestic 4G technology. Testing for the 5G stack is currently ongoing; it should be finished by the end of this year.

Chennaiyin FC have completed the signing of Dutch attacking midfielder Nasser El Khayati on a free transfer to bolster their squad ahead of the 2022-2023 Indian Super League campaign. El Khayati will be replacing Rafael Crivellaro in the Marina Machans squad for the upcoming season.

Chennaiyin FC on Friday announced a 35-man squad for the upcoming Indian Super League season with head coach Thomas Brdaric looking to build on a promising Durand Cup campaign that concluded earlier this month. Nasser El Khayati joined the club as its seventh foreign acquisition.

In his career so far, the player has taken part in 213 matches scoring 63 goals and achieving 41 assists.

The player of Moroccan descent will join a midfield that already consists of several experienced players such as Anirudh Thapa and Julius Duker and will certainly give coach Thomas Brdaric options to try out various combinations with the team.

This year, Chennaiyin will kickstart its ISL campaign on October 10 against ATK Mohun Bagan in an away match before hosting Bengaluru FC at the Marina Arena on October 14.

ICC recently announced the prize money for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 winners on Friday, which is USD 1.6 million.

The men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in Melbourne, the final will be played on November 13. The runners-up will receive half of USD 1.6 million. The second- runners-up will get $400,000. ICC has a total prize pool of $5.6 million and the tournament will be lasting for more than a month.

The other eight teams will be receiving a cash prize of $70,000 each.

Similar to the previous year, each of the 30 victories in the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 will earn the winner $40,000 in prize money.

The eight teams who moved directly to the Super 12 stage are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and South Africa.

The remaining eight teams will split into two groups of four and will compete in the first round.

These teams will participate in Group A and are Namibia, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, and Zimbabwe from Group B. Each first-round winner will get a reward of $40,000, for a grand total of $480,000 over the course of the 12 matches.

The eliminated teams in the first round will get $40,000.

Australia is set to host the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup which will commence on October 16 and end on November 13, 2022. This is the 8th edition of the T20 World Cup, the schedule was finalized on January 2022. The hosts are also the defending champions.

It was just recently revealed that Stadia would close its doors in the first quarter of 2023. Since it launched in 2019, the service has amassed a sizable catalogue. Until January 18, 2023, you can still access your Stadia games.

Another well-known name in the cloud gaming industry is Amazon Luna. You may play almost anywhere, including on the G Cloud, similar to GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming.

You must use Chrome on the G Cloud because it is not included. Go to amazon.luna.com after arriving and log in there. You can play games from the browser if you have a membership or are an Amazon Prime member. To put the Chrome instance in desktop mode, select the three dots menu. You’ll be allowed to play after that.

The brand-new 5th Generation Echo Dot brings more powerful audio to Amazon’s most popular smart speaker. On top of that, the Echo Clock with Dot uses high-density dot technology. You can now see the time, the currently playing artist, song name, upcoming calendar events, and it’s even bright enough to see in direct sunlight that may be coming through your window.

The firth-gen Echo Dot is slated to arrive Oct. 20 for $49.99, while the new Echo Dot with Clock will sell for $59.99 when it lands next month.

Finally, Amazon announced two new Echo Dot Kids designs: Owl and Dragon, which join the existing Panda and Tiger. The new designs come with a year’s worth of Amazon Kids+, same as the original Echo Dot Kids speakers.

And with that, let’s move on to the price list. The Echo Dot without the Clock costs $49.99, while the Echo Dot with the Clock and the Echo Dot Kids each costs $59.99. As of today, all three can be pre-ordered in marketplaces around the world. In addition, Amazon has also introduced the Echo Auto, a smart speaker designed specifically for use in vehicles, at a price of $54.99.

PSG owners QSI could purchase Barcelona’s rivals Espanyol to create more competition with the club, and potentially ‘harm’ the Blaugrana. The report comes from Foot en Espagne via Sport, and could see the Qatari club follow the same model as Newcastle United, following their Saudi Arabia takeover recently. 

The case in point presents more than a business opportunity for the owners of the French club. Their relationship with Barcelona is not the best and could be potentially worsened in case the takeover actually goes through. 

PSG and Barcelona relationship could worden if Espanyol takeover goes through 

Recently, PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi publicly took digs at Barcelona. He questioned whether their financial levers strategy was even legal, which helped them register new signings like Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso and Hector Bellerin. 

Espanyol is currently under the ownership of Chinese toy company Rastar Group, and has been since 2016. However, they have not been able to progress much, and are currently fighting a relegation battle despite being in the top flight. 

QSI have been rumoured to take over Espanyol for a while now. But, recent developments make it more likely to go through and to battle Barcelona domestically. Talks over the deal could start very soon, with Nasser Al Khelaifi taking charge of the negotiations.

Google officially shuts down Stadia

Google has announced the termination of its Google Stadia game streaming service and the refunding of all software and game purchases. When Google Stadia was first introduced in 2019, it was marketed as Netflix for video games. Unfortunately, that assurance has not yet been fulfilled.

On paper, the idea of game streaming over the Internet is a fantastic one, and Google Stadia attracted a lot of interest when it first launched. However, the service was never able to sustain any kind of momentum. People have mostly stayed with physical and digital media since streaming games has the potential to be a hassle due to the patchy nature of many Internet connections throughout the world. 

Competition from services like Amazon Luna, PlayStation Now, and Xbox Game Pass was also fierce for Google Stadia. Even Netflix now offers mobile gaming streaming on its platform. 

The Google Stadia service is about to expire. According to a blog post on the official Google website, Google Stadia will be discontinued on January 18, 2023. By mid-January 2023, all hardware and digital game purchases will also be returned, though no specific date has been announced and information is still scant. Players will still have time to complete the titles they did buy on the service because Google Stadia will be available until its official ending date.

For Google Stadia, the writing has been on the wall for some time. Features that were promised during the initial game advertising were not available when Google Stadia launched. The pandemic served as the true test of Google Stadia’s viability because lockdowns caused a large number of people to stay at home and seek entertainment at a time when the prices of PC and second-hand consoles were sky-high. This was Google’s opportunity to aggressively promote Stadia, but the opportunity was lost.

Fans have been wondering for a while what Google’s plan was with Google Stadia, and it appears that the answer was that there wasn’t one. Despite the fact that users of Google Stadia Pro are probably not going to receive any compensation for their subscription, the idea that fans can recover part of the money they spent on the programme is a plus. Google Stadia had the potential to be something remarkable, but the technology wasn’t there yet, and the corporation never seemed truly committed to the service, despite its enormous potential in a world of pricey hardware.
