At the CDL Champs (Call of Duty League Championship) competition, Infinity Ward announced the news. The dates are divided by console and whether or not you preordered the game, much like with prior betas.

On September 16 and 17, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 customers who have preordered the game can begin playing the first early access beta. The open beta for all PlayStation users follows, starting on September 18 and running until September 20.

The PlayStation, Xbox, and PC crossplay beta will run from September 22 through September 23, and the open cross-play beta will run from September 24 through September 26 for all platforms. Every session starts at noon ET.

Infinity Ward also teased Grand Prix, a new multiplayer map that is situated on a racetrack, during CDL Champs. Play on the map will be possible during the beta.

According to Infinity Ward, if you haven’t pre-ordered the game, you may be able to get a beta code that will grant you early access. Although it gave out some codes during the competition today, there will be additional opportunities to get one from different streamers and YouTubers as the beta nears.

We got our first look at Modern Warfare II in June, but Infinity Ward plans to share a lot more information about the next game at its Call of Duty: Next event on September 15 (including a complete multiplayer reveal). On October 28, Modern Warfare II becomes available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (through Battle.net and Steam).

Apple iPhone 14 shipments may face delay due to China-Taiwan tension

Apple is all set to launch its next-generation of iPhones – the iPhone 14 – which is the most anticipated smartphone range. According to a new report, the upcoming iPhone 14 will likely be delayed due to rising tensions between China and Taiwan.

Apple is reportedly its main TSMC customer, and the company supplies chips to its Pegatron in China, where its iPhones are assembled. US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan further soured relations between China and Taiwan. As a result, the CCP has come up with new regulations forbidding any mention of “Taiwan” or “Republic of China” in shipping documents.

Furthermore, Pelosi was seen with Pegatron Vice Chairman Jason Chen as well as executives from TSMC. The US seems to be caught in what appears to be a trade war between China and Taiwan. But, how does this tie in with the iPhone 14’s production? For those in the dark, Taiwanese semiconductor firm TSMC manufacture’s Apple’s chipsets. Meanwhile, China supplies the bulk of Apple’s components.

Apple, along with other OEMs, have already suffered shipment delays due to component shortage caused by COVID-19 lockdowns in China and then by Ukraine-Russia tension. In order to avoid further disruptions, Apple has also told its suppliers to make a contingency plan to avoid further supply chain disruptions, as per the report. Recently, a report said that Apple plans to ship its iPhone 14 simultaneously from factories in China and India.

This year’s iPhone lineup will likely include the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Benjamin Sesko to join Leipzig in 2023; Werner signing imminent

RB Leipzig will be signing Benjamin Sesko from their sister club RB Salzburg in Austria next year. Several clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea were interested in signing the forward this summer. But, Salzburg were clear about their intention of not selling him in 2022.

Now, an agreement is in place to keep him in the Red Bull group. So, he will be playing in the German Bundesliga next season, with a five-year contract in place for him once he makes the move. The deal will be completed between the two Red Bull clubs this week.

Benjamin Sesko and Timo Werner to lead the line for Leipzig

Timo Werner is expected to return to RB Leipzig in the coming days, with a medical scheduled today. A sum in the region of €20-25 million has been quoted for the German, after a difficult spell in England.

Although he won the Champions League with Chelsea, he was unable to replicate his goalscoring records in London. And now, he is back to his former club, in an atmosphere where he can hopefully get back to his best ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Leipzig are anticipating a departure for Christopher Nkunku next summer, even though they got the player to sign a new contract recently. As a result, Benjamin Sesko will be replacing the Frenchman in the line-up once he makes the switch to another European elite.

Adrien Rabiot linked with Manchester United transfer with Juventus contract expiring in 2023

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Adrien Rabiot of Juventus. The player only has one year remaining on his current deal with Juventus. He wasn’t included in their pre-season tour and was training with the U23s of the club either, which suggests that he isn’t a part of Max Allegri’s plans.

Frenkie de Jong has been the main target in midfield for Manchester United this summer. But it seems more and more likely that the Dutchman won’t be moving to Old Trafford this summer. And as a result, United are looking elsewhere to add to their squad.

Adrien Rabiot linked with Manchester United move

The Frenchman is yet to agree personal terms for a move to the Premier League. But, it has been reported by several outlets that the initial phase of a transfer is in motion.

If Juventus don’t let go of the player this summer, then they will be forced to let him go for free next year. A contract renewal for Adrien Rabiot looks unlikely, with the Bianconeri keen to trim their squad.

They already have a number of options in midfield, with Denis Zakaria, Arthur, Weston McKennie and Manuel Locatelli also at the club. Paul Pogba is out injured until next year, and Juventus were expected to keep Rabiot at the club as a result. But if a good offer arrives from United, they might be happy to offload the player this summer itself.

Goncalo Guedes to join Wolves for €32 million in the coming days

Goncalo Guedes will be making the move to the Premier League in the coming days. An agreement has been reached between Wolves and Valencia for the winger, and he will be completing his medical for the move in the coming days.

The transfer fee for the Portuguese player will be around €32 million including add-ons. And once the formalities have been completed, the deal will officially be announced by the two clubs.

Goncalo Guedes to join Wolves in the coming days

Arsenal and Newcastle United were also in the race for the winger. But, Wolves have been able to secure a deal for yet another Portuguese talent. Last season, he scored 11 goals and provided 6 assists in La Liga and can provide a strong impact for Bruno Lage once he grows into the team.

The arrival of Goncalo Guedes has fuelled rumours for the departure of Pedro Neto. The Wolves number 7 has been quite impressive at the Molineux, and has attracted interest from some of the top clubs in the division. Arsenal in particular have been linked with his signature, and Wolves have a replacement for him in case he leaves.

But, it remains to be seen whether Wolves will be able to keep Neto for another season and have both wingers or only Guedes. Samu Castillejo has been recruited as a potential replacement for Guedes, with the Spaniard becoming the first signing for Gennaro Gattuso at the club.

PSG agree personal terms with Fabian Ruiz for transfer in 2022

Paris Saint-Germain are working to sign Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz in the coming days. The French club have reached an agreement on personal terms with the player, and are working to finalise the agreement with the Azzurri soon.

According to Fabrizio Romano, it seems only a matter of time before the deal is finalised between the two clubs. PSG’s sporting director, Luis Campos, is a big fan of the Spaniard and is working to close the deal in the coming days.

Fabian Ruiz close to joining Paris Saint-Germain in the next few days

The 26-year-old would be the third midfield addition for the French side this summer. They have already signed Vitinha and Renato Sanches. But, they have let go of Gini Wijnaldum and are closing the agreement for Idrissa Gana-Gueye to return to Everton.

Real Madrid were interested in signing the player in 2023 on a free transfer when his contract runs out. However, it seems that Campos is not willing to let Madrid have that opportunity as he is trying to sign the player for a fee this year itself.

Fabian Ruiz will be looking to make the Spain national team for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but he will have to compete with an unbelievable amount of talent in PSG’s midfield. As a result, it remains to be seen whom Christophe Galtier will give the nod in the heart of the park.

The Belgian has a wealth of experience at 35 years of age, and will be able to provide a lot of input to the attack as a result. The forward was able to make a strong impact off of the bench during his final seasons, and could do the same at his new club.

Lucas Torreira has signed a three-year contract with the Turkish side, until June 2025. He has joined them from Arsenal, who will receive a sum around €6-7 million for the midfielder.

It was believed that the Uruguayan will be making his loan spell at Fiorentina permanent after an impressive year on loan. However, talks fell through between both clubs and he has now made the move to Galatasaray. It now remains to be seen how his career pans out from his spell in Turkey.
