However, the EB management and their investor Emami are trying their best to build a strong core for the team this season, in order to compete for glory once again.

Apple MacBook Pro With M2 Pro, M2 Max Chips Reportedly Under Development

0

Apple has set a very aggressive internal goal for the launch of their M2 Pro-powered MacBook Pro. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro product lines with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips are “well into development and testing,” and there remains a possibility that the laptops may be unveiled later this year.

Apple’s M2 Pro and M2 Max-powered MacBook Pros could debut as early as the fall of 2022. The new chips would focus on delivering improved GPU performance over the existing range of MacBook Pros.

The company was expected to launch it a little early, but due to supply chain issues, the production of the new MacBook Pros will reportedly get delayed. Popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently suggested that the production could begin in the fourth quarter of 2022.

It is being said the new Apple M2 Pro and M2 Max chips could be based on a 3nm process and some of the reports claim that the new ones will still remain 5nm. In any case, the next generation chipsets will likely offer better performance and efficiency over the older M1 Pro and M1 Max chips that are powering the existing 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, as Apple might move from TSMC’s standard 5nm process (N5) to a more advanced N5P process.

Apple MacBook Pro With M2 Pro, M2 Max Chips Reportedly Under Development

Apple overhauled the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro in the fall of 2021 with a new design, provided some additional ports like HDMI and MagSafe 3, and was powered by M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. These Macs arrived a year after the M1 chip debuted in 2020. With the M2 chip, the company reportedly has a more aggressive launch timeline.

The Cupertino-based tech giant normally refreshes its MacBook Pro lineup every 1.5 to 2 years at the earliest, therefore a release around the spring of 2023 seems more probable. But a more aggressive upgrade timeline could change that. Apple recently launched the M2-powered 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air after announcing them at WWDC22. The new chip brings an 18% and 35% uplift in CPU and GPU performance, respectively.

Apple MacBook Pro With M2 Pro, M2 Max Chips Reportedly Under Development

According to rumors, this year could see the release of a new Mac mini with an M2 Pro processor and a redesigned Mac Pro tower with M2 Ultra or “M2 Extreme” processors. MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max is expected to launch in October 2022 or by early November 2022, and the devices are expected to go on sale by the end of 2022.

Samsung working on 3rd gen Tensor SoC and Exynos 1380

0

Samsung is reportedly working on Google’s next generation Tensor SoC as well as its in-house Exynos 1380 SoC, which will be announced soon. The upcoming Google Tensor 2 SoC could be included in the Pixel 7 series phones, while the Exynos 1380 SoC is rumored to power the Galaxy A54 smartphone next year.

According to media reports, Tensor 2 would be created on a board for developers named “Cloudripper,” hence the recently found model number would probably be the third iteration of the Tensor SoC. On the other hand, it is anticipated that the speculated Exynos 1380 SoC would replace the Exynos 1280 SoC, which was introduced in April of this year.

Google is reportedly testing the third-generation Tensor SoC, which may power next year’s Pixel 8 line-up. The chipset is being developed under the dev board named ‘Ripcurrent’. The next-gen Tensor chip is said to carry the model number S5P9865, which is in line with the pattern of Tensor chips. To recall, the original Tensor chip had the model number S5P9845, and Tensor 2 is rumored to be S5P9855.

According to a report by GalaxyClub (Dutch), Samsung is working on two new chipsets. Out of these, one has model number S5P9865. The Exynos 1380 SoC, on the other hand, is said to succeed the Exynos 1280 SoC that was introduced in April this year. It is reportedly being developed and tested under the product code S5E8835. The chipset is expected to power the Samsung Galaxy A54.

However, the Tensor’s advantage is that Google has the freedom to tailor the SoC to its needs. Its camera AI capabilities, for example, are quite impressive and allow the Pixel 6 to offer some advanced features. The same report also states that Samsung is working on the Exynos 1280 successor, a mid-range chip used in some of the company’s budget offerings.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II Revealed

Bose is expected to announce the QuietComfort Earbuds II earphones soon, and their design has been outed in a series of images published by WinFuture. The renders show the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II look a little different to the original QuietComfort Earbuds, with a design that will likely stick out from the ear significantly less.

The official-looking images supplied by leaker Roland Quandt suggest that the QuietComfort Earbuds 2 could arrive in a few weeks time as the successor to the company’s highly-rated original QuietComfort Earbuds. Although there’s no official announcement from Bose just yet about a QuietComfort Earbuds successor.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II Revealed

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II Design & Specifications

In the QuietComfort Earbuds II, the silicone support sits more directly on the earpiece body. The shape of the earpieces themselves hasn’t changed dramatically, but the fresh style may make it seem as if it has. A flattened, more clearly delineated outer part gives more a sense of there being a section that points down from the main body.

The leak highlights that the QuietComfort Earbuds II will offer up to six hours of battery life on a single charge, but it’s not clear if this battery life spec is with ANC or not. Based on the battery life rating for the previous model, we believe that the QuietComfort Earbuds II will last up to six hours with ANC off unless Bose offers significantly larger batteries in the earbuds.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II Revealed

Presumably, this manufacturer battery life estimate only applies with ANC disabled. Also, the QuietComfort Earbuds II feature touch-sensitive areas for making multi-touch gestures. Moreover, the earbuds will have equaliser support via the Bose app, available on Android and iOS.

The company should offer the QuietComfort Earbuds II in two colors: black and white. WinFuture claims the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II will cost $299, $20 more than the original version, and that the earpieces’ batteries will last up to six hours off a charge. Bose will likely announce the earbuds in the coming weeks and we’ll make sure to share more details as soon as they become available.

A New Mafia Game is reportedly in its early stages at Hangar 13 Studio

0

A new Mafia game is being created by Hangar 13. General manager Roman Hladk provided information about a new Mafia series game in an interview with developers for the 20th anniversary of the original game.

“I’m happy to confirm we’ve started work on an all-new Mafia project!” said Hladík. “While it’s a few years away and we can’t share anything more right now, we’re really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories.”

Hangar 13’s latest project was creatively ambitious and exciting. When we pursue new intellectual properties, we occasionally may encounter situations that call for cancellation. We encourage our teams to pursue their passions and take creative risks, balanced against prudent commercial and financial decisions and our unwavering commitment to delivering the best entertainment experiences. We have full confidence in Hangar 13’s leadership and development team and believe that they can and will deliver critical and commercial successes in the future. Hangar 13’s leadership is working closely with 2K to ensure that Hangar 13 team members continue to do meaningful work, either as part of Hangar 13 or on one of our other development teams.

In the 2002 release Mafia, a fictional crime family is followed in a setting modelled after Chicago in the 1930s. The succeeding Mafia games likewise followed many crime families in various fictitious cities during various eras. In 2020, all three games underwent remastering and were rereleased. After finishing that remaster, Hangar 13 got to work on a brand-new undertaking known as Volt, which was going to involve superheroes engaging in online competition. Take-Two Interactive discontinued the game in 2021.

Sony is set to announce a new smartphone in its home country. The Japanese brand is hosting a launch event on September 1st at 4 pm local time. The event will be live streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel.

It hasn’t revealed the exact Xperia models we’ll be seeing, there’s a big hint that makes us think it’ll be the anticipated Sony Xperia 5 IV. It’s unclear whether this event will be hosted at IFA 2022 in Berlin or if Sony is running it away from the show at a similar time.

Sony set to launch a smartphone on September 1st

The event was confirmed on Twitter, and there’s also a teaser video on Sony’s Xperia channel. That video gives us a little clue about the phone to expect. The teaser video shared by Sony says “Be Creative. Be Compact” which indeed confirms that the upcoming device will be a compact smartphone. The brand is also teasing the photography capabilities on the phone that claims to allow users to shoot breathtaking portraits.

It features musician Cat Burns who has used the new Xperia phone to film her latest music video. Users can also share their songs with the world and live stream their winning moments while playing games. Apart from this, the video teaser does not mention any additional details about the upcoming Xperia phone.

Rumors suggest the Sony Xperia 5 IV is near ready for launch, with it appearing in FCC certification in the last few days. Reports say the phone will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 6-inch OLED screen, and three 12MP cameras on the rear. So far, changes seem minimal compared to the last-gen phone, with one of the key highlights being the introduction of wireless charging.  Despite being a flagship phone, it will still have a 3.5mm headphone jack, making Sony one of the very few companies to still keep it around.

However, the brand is yet to reveal the name of the upcoming offering. We may see other products launching on September 1, but this is at least the one the company is teasing heavily. We’ll likely know much more about Sony’s next phone at the end of next week.

Apple Reality One: New Patent might have just revealed the name of its upcoming AR Headset

Apple may be getting closer to releasing its first mixed reality headset, according to recent trademark filings. It is doubtful that Apple would reveal the visor at the iPhone 14 media event next week since it is not anticipated to debut until at least some time in 2019. First-gen hardware may also be prohibitively expensive, limiting the platform’s appeal until more reasonably priced replacements are available.

Apple shell businesses recently submitted trademark applications in the US, the UK, the European Union, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, and Uruguay for names including Reality Processor, Reality One, and Reality Pro, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.

In the past, Apple has relied on shell companies and law firms to assist in upholding its secrecy surrounding unannounced items. According to reports, Immersive Health Solutions LLC was formed in February and registered with Corporation Trust Co., another shell company.

The premium wearable might cost between $2,000 and $3,000, so it won’t be cheap either. Apple runs the risk of not making much of an impact in the consumer market at that pricing point and steering customers more toward commercial clients, similar to Microsoft HoloLens and Magic Leap. On the other hand, they would at least make a dent in the market and lay the groundwork for more widely available successors to follow later this decade.

It is widely accepted that the name of the operating system powering the mixed reality platform will be reality. Reality One or Reality Pro might be what Apple labels the headset itself, while Reality Processor makes sense for the name of the chip that powers the platform.

According to Bloomberg, Apple will power the experience using an M2 CPU and 16GB of RAM, but the company may also require a more potent graphics solution.
