On February 26, 2023, Xiaomi 13 Pro will debut in India

Following the Xiaomi 13 Pro introduction in China in December of last year, Xiaomi has confirmed February 26, 2023, the debut of its newest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, in India. After the Xiaomi 12S series, which did not debut outside of China, this is the brand’s most recent smartphone which was jointly developed with Leica.

With this, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will at long last go global. Xiaomi did not say whether it intended to release the Xiaomi 13 in India, but it’s possible that won’t happen given that the company only introduced the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone there while skipping the Xiaomi 12 base model.

The global debut of the Xiaomi 13 series is scheduled for February 26, 2023, at 9:30 PM IST, so it should take place around that time.

According to Xiaomi, the launch of Xiaomi 13 Pro will be live-streamed on the country’s Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter accounts, as well as the company’s main website mi.com.

The device has three 50MP cameras on the back, with the primary camera sporting a 1′′ ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensor, Leica optics, eight aspherical lenses, an ALD ultra-low reflectance coating, lens edge ink coating, a new cyclic olefin material, and a spin-coated process IR filter to match Xiaomi 12S Ultra’s optical quality. KRAFTON Inc. to open its first Canadian AAA game studio in Montréal

KRAFTON Montréal Studio will hire 150 people in the next 3 years to work on a new IP based on a fantasy novel series 

KRAFTON Inc., a collective of independent game development studios, is proud to announce today the opening of its first Canadian AAA game studio located in Montréal, Quebec. KRAFTON Montréal Studio will be led by Patrik Méthé, a prominent figure in the gaming industry with over 20 years of experience in leadership roles on some of the world’s most renowned franchises.

A team of industry veterans including Benoit Frappier, Producer; Frédéric Duroc, Game Director; and Martin Paradis, Technology Director; has already joined Méthé. The studio is looking to hire 150 people in the next 3 years with key positions including animation, programming and Head of HR.

KRAFTON Montréal Studio’s first project will be the adaptation of the acclaimed fantasy novel series The Bird That Drinks Tears, created and written by Yeong-do Lee, who is widely acknowledged as the pioneer of the Korean fantasy genre. As one of the best-selling fantasy authors in Korea, Mr. Lee is an exceptionally imaginative writer who builds elaborate worlds and fills them with complex characters.

The Bird That Drinks Tears has been loved by readers for the past 20 years for its elaborate worldview and three-dimensional characters. It is characterized by its unique settings and characters that exquisitely encompass the East and West, and it tells the story of four races, humans, Leckorn, Dokkaebis, and Nagas, which begin as they become entangled through events.

Since 2021, KRAFTON has been working on visualizing the world and characters of the novel to expand the IP of The Bird That Drinks Tears. In particular, the art book, prepared in November 2022 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the serialization of The Bird That Drinks Tears, topped the weekly bestseller list of major Korean Internet bookstores within four days of pre-sale.

KhiladiAdda – India’s largest micro eSports tournament and online gaming platform has achieved another major milestone of recording 7X growth in revenue in FY22. The company’s revenue has jumped to Rs. 11.50 Cr in FY22 from Rs. 1.58 Cr. recorded in FY21 and further projected to reach 21Cr. in FY23.

Started in 2019, KhiladiAdda’s micro eSports tournament and online gaming platform allows gaming enthusiasts to play games like fantasy cricket, ludo, quizzes, Free Fire Max, Battleground India and other casual games with an opportunity to monetise their gaming skills. It endeavours to integrate the fun and excitement of gaming with a lucrative incentive structure that enables players to monetise their skills and time in a secure and compliant manner.

It will allocate substantial share of the funds in adding more games through internal development, partnerships with third-party game development companies and acquisitions. Adding new markets in the immediate neighbourhood is being actively pursued. 

Recently the company entered into partnerships with Freak X Games for bringing the game Droid-O and Rein Games for bringing RummyAdda to its users

KhiladiAdda is also looking to expand its presence internationally, starting with Europe and Middle East with special focus on eSports. The company is on the path to setting up a studio and content development center in the two regions. 

To accomplish the goals of business growth, KhiladiAdda will also emphasize on doubling its headcount in the coming two years. 

KhiladiAdda has close to 3 million registered users and more than 3,00,000 monthly active users. Madden NFL 23 is now available in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday, thanks to the subscription service’s partnership with EA Play. The latest edition of EA Sports’ American football sim will be available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on PC and consoles beginning Thursday, February 9.

Atomic Heart, a day-and-date launch on Game Pass with cloud, console, and PC access, will also be added to the Xbox and PC Game Pass libraries later this month. Atomic Heart is a fast-paced, first-person action game set in an alternate-history Soviet Union with an artistic style reminiscent of the time-warped settings of the Fallout and BioShock franchises.
