THE PERFECT INTRODUCTION TO THE NEUMANN SOUND

The TLM 102 White is Neumann’s most affordable large diaphragm condenser microphone. And, of course, it is a true Neumann, designed and manufactured in Germany with great attention to every detail. Compared to more expensive Neumann microphones, the TLM 102 is reduced in size and features, but Neumann would never compromise on sound quality. Despite its affordable price, the TLM 102 has a very attractive look with a gleaming chrome ring between a classic tapered headgrille and the famous Neumann diamond.

SMART LOOKS – SMART ENGINEERING

The TLM 102 sounds as smart as it looks! Its newly developed large diaphragm condenser capsule has all the qualities that made Neumann microphones the first choice in recording studios all over the world: a clear and focused sound with superb definition. Due to its remarkably linear response across the entire midrange, the TLM 102 is able to capture the authentic character of any voice or instrument, enhanced by a slight lift around 10 kHz for silky highs. The TLM 102 has gorgeous bottom end, too, enriched by the well-controlled proximity effect of a large diaphragm cardioid capsule. A joy for every singer!

The TLM 102’s technical performance is impressive, too. Its self-noise of only 12 dB-A is much lower than the ambient noise in even a very quiet room. At the same time, the TLM 102 is capable of handling extreme sound pressure levels of up to 144 dB free from distortion. As a member of the TLM range, the TLM 102 is equipped with a transformer less output stage, which means: powerful bass, even at highest signal levels, and a very direct sound without transmission losses.

BIG SOUND FOR SMALL STUDIOS

Due to its enormous dynamic range of 132 dB and a remarkably uniform cardioid pickup pattern, the TLM 102 is a very easy to use microphone for home and project studios, and also for demanding live applications. Its uncolored sound and fast transient response make the TLM 102 an excellent choice for male and female vocals as well as a wide range of instruments, such as acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar and double bass, drums, percussion, brass, saxophone. The TLM 102 is a true workhorse for any small studio.

FEATURES:

  • High-precision drivers, Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide
  • Linear frequency response 39 Hz … 21 kHz (±3 dB)
  • Linear phase response 105 Hz … 16 kHz (± 45°) with latency < 2,6 ms
  • DSP engine allows for room adaptive calibration via Neumann’s MA 1
  • Razor-sharp imaging due to extremely low tolerances (± 0.8 dB)
  • May be combined with other KH line speakers in immersive/surround setups.

NASA’s Webb Telescope Identifies Several of the Ancient Galaxies Ever Seen

As per the sources, it states that the Webb Telescope is still studying the farthest reaches of space, as was hinted at before its launch. In reality, a few galaxies that were born recently—relatively speaking, of course—after the cosmos initially formed are visible in the most recent NASA photos.

NASA’s Webb Spots Ancient Galaxies

According to the photographs that have been made public, Webb is looking at a pair of galaxies that are between 350 and 450 million light-years away, meaning it has taken between 350 and 450 million years for the light to get to the observatory.

The organization estimates that the galaxies in issue likely originated about 100 million years after the cosmic occurrence that is supposed to have led to the universe’s formation. According to NASA, these earliest galaxies are smaller and more compact than the Milky Way, with spherical or disk formations rather than large spirals.

NASA added that the first stars may have begun forming in such galaxies around that time, considerably earlier than expected, according to Webb’s latest findings, which show that the galaxies would have had to start clumping together around 100 million years after the big bang.

About the Latest Pictures

The most recent images were taken as part of a project run by Tommaso Treu at the University of California, Los Angeles. Whatever they see is brand-new, according to Treu. Webb is demonstrating that the universe is incredibly rich and unimaginably vast.

The universe has startled them yet again. In many ways, these early galaxies are strange. It’s only the most recent picture taken by the Webb Space Telescope and published by NASA officials.

Bill Nelson, the administrator of NASA, has said of the JWST that if we think about it, this is farther than humanity has ever advanced. And they’re just starting to grasp Webb’s potential and intentions. It will investigate solar system objects and the atmospheres of exoplanets orbiting other stars to see whether their atmospheres may be similar to our own.

According to astronomer Klaus Pontoppidan, Webb project scientist at STScI, the telescope’s sophisticated equipment are showcased in the first photographs and data as well as a preview of the next science mission. They are certain to give astronomers and the general public the long-awaited “wow.”

Here’s the list of all the Records that can be created or broken at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

0

At the Qatar World Cup, a lot of football records could be broken or expanded. Here are some of the largest, finest, and most intriguing records that might be broken during the coming weeks.

Here is the list of records made in the past:

Non-World Cup Records

The longest unbeaten streak is currently held by Italy (37 games), but Argentina (now 35) could overtake them during the group stage. Neymar (75) is just a goal or two away from breaking Pelé’s Brazilian record of 77 goals.

Just two goals separate Harry Kane (51 goals, nine at major tournaments) from overtaking Wayne Rooney as England’s all-time leading scorer (Rooney has 53 goals) (Gary Lineker, 10).

Record of Players in World Cup

Rafael Márquez, Lothar Matthäus, and Antonio Carbajal have all participated in a record five World Cups. Andrés Guardado, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo will all join them if they show up.

The most appearances are 25, which belongs to Lothar Matthäus. If Argentina advances to the semifinals, Lionel Messi (19) might replace him. At World Cups, Miroslav Klose claimed 17 victories. In Qatar, Lionel Messi (13), could catch and pass him.

https://twitter.com/FIFAWorldCup/status/1402524338298003459?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1402524338298003459%7Ctwgr%5E0e0fe35827a008f22b065a9f25825493c9eb82a8%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fonefootball.com%2Fen%2Fnews%2Fthe-records-up-for-grabs-at-the-2022-world-cup-36242621

At four different World Cups, four players — Pele, Uwe Seeler, Miroslav Klose, and Cristiano Ronaldo — have scored goals. This time, Ronaldo might become the first player to score in the fifth.

World Cup Hat-Tricks Records

Only Gabriel Batistuta has scored hat-tricks at two different World Cups, and only four players—Sándor Kocsis, Just Fontaine, Gerd Müller, and Batistuta—have done it. No one has ever scored a hat-trick in three World Cups. Both Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo have one hat trick competing.

When he scored his three goals against Spain in 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo was already the oldest player to score a hat-trick at a World Cup. He was 33 years and 130 days old at the time. Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski are both older than the Portuguese were four and a half years ago, so he could undoubtedly break the record this time.

The man in the best position to surpass Pelé’s record of 10 assists in World Cups is Lionel Messi (six assists). Moreover, the Argentine, who has already contributed an assist at four World Cups, has a chance to add a fifth.

Rob Rensenbrink, Gabriel Batistuta, and Eusébio are the only three players to have four goals in non-penalty shootouts in World Cups. Harry Kane and Antoine Griezmann each have three. No one has ever won two Golden Boots at a World Cup. Thomas Müller and Harry Kane arrive in 2022 uninjured.

Team Records in World Cup

Germany, which has won four World Cups as of now, has a chance of tying or surpassing Brazil’s record of five victories. Brazil is one behind Germany with eight World Cup appearances, which is a record.

Germany and Brazil have each participated in 109 World Cup games. It took Italy 44 years (1938–1982) to win a tournament, which might be surpassed this time around by either Uruguay (last win: 1950) or England (1966).

With five straight games without a goal, Bolivia, Algeria, and Honduras hold the record for the most World Cup games without a goal. A goalless group stage would allow Canada to break the record and make history by becoming the only team to compete in two World Cups without scoring a goal. In 1986, they failed to score in any of their games.

Penalty Shootouts and Cards: Records

Argentina has participated in a World Cup penalty shootout record five times and four times by — Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, and England. Both Germany and Argentina have prevailed in four World Cup penalty shootouts.

On three, Brazil is only slightly behind them. Spain and England have both lost three World Cup penalty shootouts. Brazil (11) and Argentina (10) are the teams with the reddest cards in World Cup history.

England 6-2 Iran: Three Lions start World Cup in dominant fashion

0

England started off their 2022 World Cup campaign with an impressive 6-2 win over Iran. The Three Lions started scoring right from the get go and were able to keep the momentum going for the remainder of the game to take three important first points.

Bukayo Saka was named the man of the match for scoring a brace in his first outing at the biggest stage. Alireza Beiranvand, the Iran goalkeeper, had to be substituted off only 20 minutes into the game, after suffering an injury to his face, with his nose bleeding profusely.

England start World Cup campaign in style

Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish, Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford were the other players to score against Iran. Bellingham became the one to open the scoring in the 35th minute, and the goals followed frequently afterwards.

Mehdi Taremi was able to score a consolation in the 65th minute. He doubled up with a successful penalty 13 minutes into extra time, conceded by John Stones.

Iran were always the underdogs heading into the game, but the margin of defeat might be a huge blow to their morale. England are next in action against USA while Iran face Wales in their next match.

A look back at the top 10 worst errors in the FIFA World Cup history

0

The Qatar World Cup of 2022 has already begun. Let’s take a look at some of the tournament’s most horrifying moments in the past.

Here is the list of the 10 worst errors in World Cup history:

Graham Poll: Three Yellow Cards (2006)

Check out the Top 10 Worst Errors in the World Cup's History
credits – premierleague25years.wordpress.com

In 2006, English referee Graham Poll presided over Croatia vs. Australia, a competitive match that featured two goals for each team and two red cards. Strong refereeing was anticipated because qualification was on the line. But then a strange thing happened.

Josip Simunic received a yellow card from Poll for a foul on Harry Kewell in the 61st minute, then a second yellow for another foul in the 90th. But he didn’t realize Simunic would be dismissed until he saw the second yellow in the incorrect column. He received a third yellow and his marching orders in the 93rd minute for dissent. Although it didn’t prevent Australia from qualifying, it very well could have on a different day.

Robert Green: His Error Against USA (2010)

https://twitter.com/revansbflo/status/1594833916078292995

A keeper’s mistakes above his saves are what people remember him for, and Robert Green is a great illustration of that. Clint Dempsey attempted a long-range shot in the opening 2010 game, but Green handled the ball improperly, allowing it to slide through his hands and gently bounce into the goal.

The score remained tied at 1 after that, which was the equalizer. However, if England had won the group and gone on to face Germany rather than Ghana, many things might have gone differently.

Frank Lampard: His Ghost Goal Against Germany (2010)

In a World Cup knockout game, it’s one of the most famous sliding door moments. Even though the rivalry between Germany and England already has a long history, adding the quarterfinal stage increases the stakes.

Frank Lampard’s attempt from outside the box hit the crossbar, crossed the line, and rebounded back into the goal as Germany held a 2-1 lead, preventing an equalizer. Manuel Neuer, the goalkeeper, caught it and continued as usual.

But at the time, there was no VAR or goal-line technology, so many people mistakenly thought it was a goal. No mechanism existed to verify. Germany would eventually win 4-1, but an equalizer at that point would have altered the game’s dynamics.

Harald Schmuacher: His Collision with Patrick Battiston (1982)

In the 1982 World Cup semifinal, Harald Schumacher was involved in one of the most violent collisions you will ever witness, but Dutch referee Charles Corver did not dismiss him. Patrick Battiston collided with goalkeeper Schumacher while battling for a loose ball, breaking three ribs and losing two teeth.

On the field, he needed to receive oxygen. However, Corver did not give a penalty for it or dismiss Schumacher; as a result, France had to make an additional replacement to replace Battiston, who had only been on the field for ten minutes. In the penalty shootout, Germany prevailed 5-4.

Diego Maradona: Impressive Hand Goal (1986)

Check out the Top 10 Worst Errors in the World Cup's History
credits – telegraph.co.uk

Among the most famous incidents in football history. Diego Maradona out-jumped Peter Shilton to score the game’s opening goal, but because of a height difference, he was only able to touch the ball with his hand. But the goal was upheld by referee Ali Ben Nasser. Maradona will soon add to the misery by scoring one of the great goals. Shilton has never been able to forgive or forget.

Andres Escobar: He’s Own Goal (1994)

An own goal can be scored by anyone. However, Andres Escobar paid the ultimate price for his crime by passing away after arriving in Colombia. A drug cartel who allegedly lost a lot of money betting on the outcome of that game shot him outside the club.

Escobar’s own goal had given the Americans a 1-0 lead going into the final score of 2-1. The next game saw them defeat Switzerland 2-0, although they lost by one point. It was a heartbreaking tale that demonstrated the difficulty in blaming specific people for sporting errors that may occur to anyone.

Roberto Baggio: His Missed Penalty (1994)

Because of his stellar club and national team careers, Roberto Baggio’s missed penalty in the 1994 World Cup final is not as significant a mark against him as it would be for a lesser player. Still, it must hurt.

The first and fourth penalties were missed by teammates Franco Baresi and Daniele Messaro, but talisman Baggio was predicted to score the fifth and keep Italy in the game. However, in one of the most notorious plays in World Cup history, he rocketed it over the bar. Italy will have to wait 12 years for their time after Brazil won their fourth championship.

Luis Suarez: Biting Giorgio Chiellini (2014)

Didn’t Luis Suarez enjoy becoming involved in a World Cup controversy? While 2010 had some justification, 2014 was pure lunacy. Uruguay needed to defeat Italy after losing to Costa Rica in the first game and then defeating England (via a Suarez brace).

Giorgio Chiellini was struck by Suarez’s lunge in the 79th minute, and Suarez oddly fell to the ground clutching his teeth. There was no card issued, but the retrospective punishment was a nine-match suspension, a four-month suspension from participating in football, and a fine. Barcelona’s debut was delayed due to the ban, but Uruguay lost to Colombia 2-0 in the Round of 16 amid the uproar about an appeal and the scandal.

Asamoah Gyan: His Missed Penalty Against Uruguay (2010)

Ghana came so close to being the best. They took Uruguay to extra time with the score tied at one in an attempt to become the first African team to reach the World Cup semifinals. They had a free kick, which they used to put even more pressure on the defense by placing the ball in the box.

In the ensuing melee, Uruguayan Luis Suarez stopped Dominic Adiyiah’s header with his hands before blocking Stephen Appiah’s shot on the goal line. He was dismissed for committing a professional foul.

Asamoah Gyan held the ball and had an opportunity to convert the go-ahead penalty. His blow to the crossbar. Suarez on the sidelines is a clear memory, and despite Gyan making up for it in the shootout, they lost. For Ghana and Gyan, it’s a moment of sliding doors and a significant what-if.

Zinedine Zidane: He’s Headbutt (2006)

Zinedine Zidane, a French great, has previously stated that he will retire following the 2006 World Cup. After advancing to the final, there was anticipation for a flawless farewell game, the kind that is rare. But these stories belong in the movies and are one of the most dramatic moments that ever happened in sports.

As they were leaving during extra time, Zidane abruptly turned around and headbutted earlier-scoring Italian defender Marco Materazzi to the ground. After being given the boot, France lost on penalties.

It might have been the most dramatic moment of a player’s career, even though Zidane’s presence may not have made a difference. The fact that Materazzi insulted his sister irritated him, so he might not even view this as a mistake, but he let his emotions get the better of him.

Toyota launches its Innova Hycross Hybrid model costing 3lakh more than the Old Gen

Toyota held the global debut of the new generation Innova, dubbed the Innova Zenix, in the Indonesian market. The premium MPV will hit the market on November 25, 2022, with the price to be announced during the 2023 Auto Expo in January. The Toyota Innova Zenix/Hycross is a significant departure from the Innova Crysta.

It is planned to be sold alongside the Innova Crysta when it arrives, leaving the Innova lineup barren of a diesel powertrain. The exterior has undergone significant changes as the evolutionary approach to change resulted in the introduction of a new style direction, with plenty of SUV-like elements giving it a more powerful look.

The Toyota Innova Hycross has a completely redesigned front fascia that includes a new trapezoidal grille section with chrome surrounds and black inserts, an updated bumper with a wide air inlet extending to triangular housings at each end, faux aluminium finish, newly designed LED Daytime Running Lights, and sharper wraparound LED projector headlights.

Other features include forceful side creases, new alloy wheels and LED taillights, a redesigned rear bumper, and so on. It has larger proportions than the Innova Crysta, thanks to the all-new platform. The modular TNGA-C platform has increased the MPV’s space, and it has a sturdier construction with greater safety and dynamic abilities.

Due to its usage of the iMV ladder frame platform and monocoque chassis, the Innova Hycross is a front-wheel drive variant as opposed to the Crysta’s rear-wheel drive design. With the addition of a new layered dashboard and a more contemporary centre console with cutting-edge features and technologies, the cabin has also undergone a total makeover.

A larger floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, more luxurious metallic accents, a revised semi-digital instrument cluster, a large panoramic sunroof, powered seats, middle row captain chairs with an ottoman function, wireless charging capability, touch-sensitive climate controls, and other features are included in the interior.

Toyota

The most recent Toyota Safety Sense technology package is also available, featuring lane departure warning, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and many other features. The Toyota Innova Hycross’s new robust hybrid powertrain, which has a significant amount of local content, is another important innovation.

It has a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine as well as a potent hybrid version of the same gasoline engine. Given the recognition of the Innova nameplate in both Indian and international markets, the Innova Hycross is more likely to have a significant impact upon release.

OneXPlayer, One-gaming Netbook’s division, has introduced the OneXPlayer 2, the latest handheld gaming console with Intel and AMD CPUs. The ability to undock the controls on each side of the device, akin to the Nintendo Switch series, is a key addition to the system.

OneXPlayer has previously created handhelds using AMD Ryzen 5800U and Intel Core processors in a variety of flavours and two distinct aesthetic styles. The company recently released the video below, which teases the newest handheld design for next year.

The new series will debut on November 25, 2022, in time for the holidays, and will ship in the first quarter of 2023. The firm has provided Technosports with an unique specs sheet for the newest handheld, which we will go over in further depth below.

One of the issues with the OneXPlayer Mini (AMD 5800U version) that we tested was its weight. Similar comments were expressed by a number of review outlets, and it seems that OneXPlayer took note of this and made some changes to “lighten the burden” for portable gamers. The biggest alteration is the addition of detachable controllers to each side of the screen, which allows users to “potentially” raise the screen up or rest flat while lowering the burden on the gamer. Both the magnetic keyboard and the orange and black colour scheme seen in the video, which has long been a trademark of OneXPlayer, are not brand-new to the system.

The business has indicated the use of the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U CPU and the Intel Raptor Lake mobile series in the accompanying video. The Intel CPU, which will presumably be the mobile i7 variant as the previous Alder Lake mobile processors did not offer more cores, is still unclear outside of the generation.

The Radeon 680M GPU will be used in OneXPlayer 2, which keeps with the RDNA 2 architecture used in the AMD OneXPlayer Mini designs from before.

The 8.4-inch 2.5K HD screen in OneXPlayer 2 is the “sweet spot” for the company when designing its handhelds. The 16GB LPDDR5 memory has been replaced with LPDDR5X in the new successor system. On the specs sheet, it also has two listings for RAM. The system will most likely experience an increase of close to 33% from the LPDDR5 memory utilised in previous generations if the corporation does confirm the use of LPDDR5X 16GB 6400 MHz frequency RAM modules.

The OneXPlayer 2 has a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 100% sRGB colour gamut. A 350 nit brightness and 360 PPI pixel density are used. The new handheld will have a battery capacity of 65.8 Wh, which is an improvement above the 48 Wh offered by the most recent OneXPlayer Mini devices, or 17100 mAh. Since the specifications indicate that the new system will only require thirty minutes to reach 50% unless any power limits are applied, the battery charging time to 100% looks to be one hour.

Storage on the OneXPlayer Mini AMD variations will remain same, since it will continue to use PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD, and it is uncertain if they will update to Gen4 (x4) for the new system. Sound will now be delivered via twin Harman Kardon-certified speakers, a departure from previous versions of OneXPlayer systems. The system was supposed to be released on December 15, 2022, but OneXPlayer has extended the sale date to this Friday, better known as “Black Friday,” and has informed us that shipments will begin in the first quarter of 2023.
