BOE displayed a variety of new products under development at the World Display Industry Conference in China, including a 16-inch notebook display with a maximum refresh rate of 600Hz. At the time, details are scant, with BOE refusing to reveal the type of LCD panel utilised (TN, IPS, or VA) or its resolution.
BOE’s new panel offers a greater refresh rate than any consumer display currently on the market. Alienware debuted a handful of new gaming laptops with 480Hz displays earlier this year, while many other notebooks top out at “just” 360Hz. In terms of monitors, Asus and Nvidia announced a device capable of hitting 500Hz at Computex, although it appears that it is still not for sale.
The 600Hz display was demonstrated by BOE in an undisclosed notebook paired with an AMD Ryzen processor and an Nvidia RTX GPU. The screen is definitely intended towards competitive gamers who prefer games like CS:GO, Valorant, and Overwatch 2.

Coincidentally, the latter’s frame rate was just increased to 600fps. Next-generation mobile GPUs should also make it easier to achieve such high framerates, particularly if customers are willing to drop the graphical settings.
It remains to be seen whether the pixel reaction times can keep up with such a high refresh rate, and, more importantly, whether users would detect any difference. By increasing the refresh rate of the screen from 60Hz to 120Hz, you can reduce the duration between displayed frames by around 8.3ms. Moving from 300Hz (3.3ms/frame) to 600Hz (1.6ms/frame) will only result in a 1.6ms improvement, about five times less, indicating a case of diminishing returns.
BOE also demonstrated an 86-inch Mini LED TV panel with a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits and 2,000 dimming zones at the same event. Foldable OLED panels made an appearance as well, including a 17-inch screen that is already used in some Asus notebooks, a panel that can fold both ways, and a Z-shaped tri-fold display.
Intel’s intentions for the workstation market with the Sapphire Rapids-WS are taking shape, thanks to the publication of early specifications for the new CPUs by a well-known hardware leaker. If the information released by reputable hardware leaker Enthusiastic Citizen (ECSM Official) is right, Intel’s next-generation Xeon products for workstations and high-end PCs will have overclockable CPUs with up to 56 cores, eight memory channels, and 112 PCIe lanes.
Intel’s next-generation Xeon W processor family for W790-based workstations will reportedly include two product families with slightly differing capabilities. The Xeon W 3400-series CPUs will be built on a multi-chiplet Sapphire Rapids design, with up to 56 cores, eight DDR5 memory channels, and 112 PCIe lanes. Furthermore, these processors will feature Golden Cove-derived CPU cores with AVX-512 and AMX instructions enabled. The Xeon W-2400-series CPUs, on the other hand, will have a single-die design with up to 24 cores, four DDR5 memory channels, and 64 PCIe lanes.
The Xeon W-2400 and W3400-series CPUs from Intel are expected to be packaged in LGA4677 and to be used with W790-based workstation motherboards. One of the first W790 mainboards was leaked last week, indicating that Intel’s partners are preparing to supply these devices sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, rumours say that Intel may not release its W790 platform until next April, making it too early to supply relevant motherboards. However, Intel has never officially confirmed a launch date for its W790 platform, only that it is intended for workstations.

According to reports, Intel’s Xeon W-3400-series portfolio will feature nine variants, four of which will be overclockable. Even the flagship Xeon W9-3495X is expected to include an unlocked multiplier, allowing for overclocking.
Earlier this year, Linux boot logs revealed the existence of Intel’s Xeon W-3400-series CPUs (which come with AVX-512 and AMX enabled). Nonetheless, they specify the Xeon W9-3495 (non-X) CPU, which is clocked at 1.80 GHz base and is not listed by Enthusiastic Citizen. We have no idea if Intel’s plans for its Sapphire Rapids-WS lineup have changed since July, but we are dealing with early material, so certain details may be incorrect.
Intel’s Xeon W-3400-series processors are built on Sapphire Rapids silicon and will enable AVX-512 and AMX instructions for artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads. Advanced Matrix Extensions is a tiled matrix multiplication accelerator, consisting of a grid of fused multiply-add units that accept BF16 and INT8 input types and can execute up to 1024 TMUL BF16 or 2048 TMUL INT8 operations per cycle per core.
There are currently no workstation-grade CPUs with up to 56 cores and AVX-512 instructions, thus Intel’s X-3400-series processors will have a clear advantage over AMD’s existing Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000WX-series products. Meanwhile, AMD is developing the next-generation Zen 4-based Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000WX family, codenamed Storm Peak, which will enable AVX-512, although we don’t know when these CPUs will be released.

According to reports, Intel’s Xeon W-2400-series family will include eight SKUs, four of which will be overclockable. While we cannot be certain, we believe the W2000-series will be powered by Intel’s 34-core Raptor Lake-S technology. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Xeon W7-2495X has 24 cores with Hyper-Threading. Intel may still need to reveal further Xeon W-2400-series products with larger core counts to partners. Perhaps the business decided to forego eight cores in exchange for higher yields, clocks, or possibly acceptable AVX-512 clocks.
The eight-core W5-2435 chip, as well as the six-core W3-2425 and W3-2423 processors, are three fascinating SKUs that Intel purportedly has in the Xeon W-2400 family. If these chips can be overclocked by increasing the BCLK frequency, they will undoubtedly pique the interest of the world’s top professional overclockers. Meanwhile, we can only speculate on whether these components will be commercially successful or follow in the footsteps of Intel’s Kaby Lake-X processors for the X299 platform aimed at enthusiasts.
Bangladesh took the lead 1-0 in the ODI series against India. Mehidy Hasan Miraj and Mustafizur Rahman had a 51-run stand in India that helped them win the low-scoring chase of 186 runs. The men in blue’s batting were yet again not up to par as all of them were bundled at 186. The bowlers did a fabulous job by reducing the hosts to 136/9 in the 40th over.
Things went right down to the wire but it was Bangladesh who won the first ODI.#TeamIndia will look to bounce back in the second ODI of the series 👍 #BANvIND
Bangladesh started the three-day ODI series with a lead of 1-0. Mehidy Hasan Miraj scripted this thrilling victory as he dragged Bangladesh from a very tough position to help them accomplish a 187-run chase with 24 balls to go. The win looked impossible to achieve as Bangladesh was reduced to 136/9 in the 40th over. Hasan took the charge and played some big shots as the team slowly and steadily came forward for the victory. He finished off the game in the last game of the 46th over which was bowled by Deepak Chahar. Besides him, Litton Das mustered 41 runs and his partnership with Shakib AL Hasan was worthy of praise. Mustafizur Rahman, who chose to field, started with a first-ball zero before India’s captain Rohit Sharma smashed a boundary to Hasan Mahmud. Shakib Al Hasan and Ebadot Hossain’s contributions reduced team India to 186 in 41.2 overs. Hasan had a five-wicket haul while Hossain picked four. KL Rahul shined as a batter as he mustered 73 off 70 deliveries but he dropped the catch of Mehidy that cost them their first ODI. The 51 rune stand between Miraj and Mustafizur was Bangladesh’s highest 10th wicket partnership and the fourth-highest 10th wicket partnership in a successful ODI chase. Mohammad Siraj (3/21), Shardul Thakur (1/21), and Washington Sundar (2/17) were the standout bowlers.
The second ODI will take place on December 7 at 11:30 AM IST.
Customers looking for Zen 4 X3D CPUs may get some positive news in January during CES 2023. The most recent rumours indicate that AMD intends to eliminate some of the restrictions set on Zen 3 3D V-Cache, however these reports almost entirely contradict previous ones.
AMD is expected to showcase at least three X3D Zen 4 CPUs at CES in January. Contrary to previous rumours, they will be available in eight, twelve, and sixteen-core configurations.
The Ryzen 9 7900X3D and 7950X3D could be the 12- and 16-core X3D processors, respectively. Based on the impact of 3D V-Cache on the Zen 3 CPUs, the two high-end processors could have 192MB of L3 cache. Meanwhile, the eight-core option might be a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 7700X3D with 96MB of L3 cache, akin to the well-reviewed 5800X3D from this year. Furthermore, the forthcoming X3D models may be free of the clock limits of the 5800X3D.
AMD’s 3D V-Cache, introduced last year, triples a CPU’s L3 cache via a 3D stacking approach. The method increased the L3 cache from 32MB to 96MB, giving the 5800X3D much greater gaming performance than the 5800X.
credit: tomshardware
AMD, on the other hand, significantly underclocked the X3D model and disabled overclocking. Users hoping for faster, unfettered V-Cache CPUs were disappointed last month by claims that AMD will only offer a Ryzen 5 7600X3D and a Ryzen 7 7700X3D. They’d be paired with an entry-level A620 AM5 motherboard that disabled overclocking and limited RAM speeds to DDR5-4800.
Instead, current sources suggest that the Zen 4 X3D CPUs will have around the same clock speeds as non-X3D versions and would at least partially lift the overclocking limitation. All Zen 4 3D V-Cache CPUs, like the 7900X and 7950X, will have a TDP of 170W. There will be no 7600X3D.
The Zen 4 X3Ds will be available following the CES announcement, but it is unclear when. Earlier rumours put the release date in March or April 2023, but that could change if the remainder of the old information is incorrect. AMD is likely hoping that V-Cache would boost Zen 4’s initially low sales relative to the still-popular Zen 3.

Sapphire is the newest AMD AIB partner to tease its next-generation Radeon RX 7900 Vapor-X series custom graphics cards. Unlike another manufacturer, Sapphire Technology is kicking off its marketing campaign with a first look at the PCB of their high-end Vapor-X cooling system, rather than just the cooling system of their upcoming AMD Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards. The business has already shown off its Nitro+ series graphics cards, but the Vapor-X is positioned one notch higher in the luxury sector than its Toxic series cards.
Looking at the unique PCB, we can see the enormous AMD Navi 31 GPU die sitting in the centre, which will use a vapor-chamber cooling design, and the PCB appears to be using a high-quality 20-phase VRM design that is powered via a triple 8-pin connector interface.
credit: wccftech
Given that others have used a triple-slot or quad-slot cooler design, we can expect Sapphire to adopt a similar and hefty cooling for its Radeon RX 7900 Vapor-X custom graphics cards as well.
AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards are expected to be available from AMD.com beginning December 13, 2022, and from leading board partners including ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX and Yeston beginning mid-December. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX has an SEP of $999 USD, while the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has an SEP of $899 USD. — AMD
AMD is apparently aiming to release reference versions of its Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT graphics cards. The AIB cards are being prepared, but according to recent speculations, they won’t be available until 1-2 weeks following the introduction. Sapphire is AMD’s third AIB partner to reveal its bespoke designs, following PowerColor and ASUS. Neither business has fully announced their lineups, but they have provided us with a sneak peek at the design of their next-generation RDNA 3-powered products.

Brazil has a strong squad capable of going all the way in this FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. They are led by PSG superstar Neymar. He played in their opening match against Serbia but the playmaker was fouled nine times during the match. He was marked aggressively by the Serbia players which ultimately caused him to leave the field.
Neymar had to leave the pitch due to an ankle injury as he was unable to continue. Later detailed examinations concluded that he won’t be a part of the group stage but if Brazil qualified for the knockout stage, he could still participate.
Brazil won both their first two matches and qualified for the Round of 16 despite losing their third group stage match against Cameroon. The South Americans will now face South Korea in the Round of 16.
Brazil coach Tite confirms Neymar will play against South Korea: “Yes, he will be available”. 🚨🇧🇷 #Qatar2022

Rising Youthful Indian shuttler Unnati Hooda finished with a silver medal in the women’s U-17 event at Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Junior Crowns 2022 in Nonthaburi, Thailand on Sunday. Men’s U-15 mates player Anish Thoppani and U-17 men’s doubles brace of Arsh Mohammad and Sanskar Saraswat also bagged medals for India.
Unnati Hooda becomes first Indian to enter final of U-17 women’s singles Badminton Asia Junior C’ships
According to the Badminton Association of India, Hooda had formerly created a slice of history when she came the first Indian to enter the U-17 women’s final at the Asia Junior Crowns. Preliminarily, men’s doubles dyads of Arjun MR- Chirag Shetty (2013) and Krishna Prasad Garaga- Satwiksairaj Rankireddy (2015) have won gold medals for India in the-17 order at the event.
Top seed Hooda, taking on alternate seed Sarunrak Vitidsarn of Thailand, went down in three games in what turned out to be a controversial finish to the match. The 15- time-old Indian dropped the opening game as Vitidsarn won five straight points from 16- 18 down but bounced back brilliantly to take the alternate game 21- 9. Hooda traced 5- 11 as the decider but after the change of ends, formerly again set up a new gear closing the gap down and levelling effects at 14- 14.
Hooda contended her case, saying she had put her hand up when she was lying down. But neither the arbiter nor the adjudicator did anything about it. After a long argument play proceeded and the Thai youth contended ahead to the finish line winning 18- 21, 21- 9, 14- 21 in 66 twinkles. The Indians didn’t win a point after that rally.
With two citation orders formerly won, and three further to come on Sunday after the tests, India is sure to finish with five medals this time. Indian badminton players won five medals in 2018 while they won two in the 2019 edition. The prestigious international event is being conducted after two years following the COVID- 19 epidemic and will conclude on Sunday.
N’Golo Kante was one of the most important players in the Chelsea squad as they won the 2021 Champions League. However, his time with the Blues has been plagued by injuries this season.
He only played Chelsea’s game against Tottenham this season before going down with a hamstring injury. And several setbacks mean that he hasn’t been able to feature for the team since.
N’Golo Kante to leave Chelsea?
Chelsea have still no agreement with N’Golo Kanté on new contract — huge chances for French midfielders to leave as free agent in 2023. 🚨🔵 #CFC
Kanté would love to stay, but no deal in place yet — Chelsea are already looking at young midfielders.
The midfielder’s deal expires at the end of the 2022/23 season, and he will be able to walk out as a free agent. Starting from the January transfer window, he will be able to talk to any other club interested in signing him, which include the likes of Barcelona.
The France international has had talks over his contract, but his injury record has prevented the club from offering him his desired financial remuneration. As a result, the general feeling is that he will be leaving at the end of his contract.
However, it should be remembered that N’Golo Kante is very happy in London. Ideally, he would want to continue with Chelsea. But, that will not be possible without reaching an agreement over a new deal. The only way things change now is if Graham Potter decides to keep him.
Otherwise, the West London side will be looking at a younger midfielder to replace him in June 2023.
