Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Skip Taylor Swift’s Wedding — Here’s Where They Went Instead

While New York City buzzes with security details, Swifties, and a literal castle rising inside Madison Square Garden, two of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces have quietly left town. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were spotted far from the wedding chaos — cheering their daughter Betty at a horse show in Lake Placid, New York.

The timing is impossible to ignore. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to marry on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden, the iconic 22,000-seater arena, and the Lively-Reynolds absence has reignited chatter about a possible rift in what was once one of Hollywood’s tightest celebrity friendships.

What We Actually Know So Far in Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds?

Here’s the twist: despite swirling rumors that Taylor personally invited Blake, Extra TV reports the two never actually had a phone call about it. Meanwhile, a source close to the situation told Daily Mail that friends around Taylor know Blake could attend — but if she doesn’t show, it won’t be because she wasn’t welcome.

So is this a snub, a scheduling conflict, or nothing at all? Right now, it’s genuinely unclear — and that ambiguity is exactly why fans are reading into every detail.

The Wedding Itself Is Already a Spectacle

Regardless of who’s missing, the big day is shaping up to be enormous. Crews have transformed MSG with floor-to-ceiling luxury drapery and a built-in castle set piece. A 100-guest rehearsal dinner reportedly took place at the arena’s Infosys Theater, with the main event featuring a 3:30 PM cocktail hour, 5:30 PM vows in front of 1,000 guests, and a reception running until 2 AM. Expected attendees include Patrick Mahomes, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Karlie Kloss.
