What Did Sonali Raut Allege?
Sonali Raut has accused the production team of subjecting contestants to “extreme and unsafe conditions,” which she says led to serious health consequences. She reportedly claimed that she developed scabies, a contagious skin condition, which she attributes to the unhygienic environment inside the house, and that the condition continues to affect her even after leaving the show.
The allegations don’t stop there. She claimed there were big rats inside the kitchen eating away at the grocery which was then used to cook food for contestants, and that food from Endemol Production during Weekend Ka War had cockroaches coming out of it.
As part of punishment, only one washroom was used for all 17 contestants, in which people reportedly smoked, littered, and ate food, with chicken, eggshells, and dead rats around.

Basic Necessities Were Also Denied
There was a shortage of single towels and bed sheets, and people used each other’s towels and bedsheets which were not changed for days. Basic supplies like only 17 toothbrushes and razors had to be borrowed from each other by the second week.
Sonali also claimed she was left starving at times without proper food or sleep, and that electronic appliances like microwaves and clothes dryers were used from Bigg Boss Hindi as they had stickers of previous contestants.
Most damning of all: Two days before a Weekend Ka War episode, Sonali had reportedly requested the cameras and host Riteish Deshmukh to evict her due to the infection she was suffering — but the channel and production house allegedly edited out that part.
“I trusted the platform, but my health and well-being were compromised. There needs to be accountability,” — Sonali Raut.
Scabies is a highly contagious skin infestation caused by a microscopic mite that burrows into the skin, causing intense itching. In crowded, unhygienic conditions, it spreads rapidly — making Sonali’s allegations medically plausible and concerning.
