Apple has revolutionized device protection in India by introducing AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage, offering flexible monthly and annual plans starting at just ₹799. This marks the first time iPhone users can protect against theft and loss directly through Apple.

Apple Launched New AppleCare+ Plan in India

The new plan covers up to two incidents of theft or loss every year, eliminating the need for unreliable third-party insurance. Kaiann Drance, Apple’s VP of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, stated this update makes trusted protection “easier and more affordable” for Indian customers.

What’s Included in the Plan?

The Theft and Loss plan includes 24/7 priority support, battery replacement services, and unlimited accidental damage repairs using genuine Apple parts. Services are available at Apple’s four retail stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune, plus authorized service centers nationwide.

Important Requirements: Users must keep Find My enabled on their device when it goes missing and throughout the claims process to qualify for theft or loss coverage.

How to Purchase AppleCare+

Customers can buy coverage directly through the Settings app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Coverage begins immediately after purchase, offering instant peace of mind without store visits.

For smartphone enthusiasts in India’s crowded metros, this plan addresses a critical gap in device protection, providing genuine Apple replacement devices instead of dealing with complex third-party insurance claims.
