What’s the Story About?

Set across two timelines—ancient Qin Dynasty and modern day—the series follows Nie Jiu Luo (Dilraba Dilmurat), a talented sculptor living an ordinary life until her family’s hidden past resurfaces. She’s unknowingly a descendant of the “Tangled Army,” a secret organization sent by Emperor Qin Shi Huang to discover the secret of immortality.

Enter Yan Tuo (Chen Xingxu), a wealthy heir on a quest for truth after discovering his family is controlled by the mysterious Lin Xi Rou (Zhang Li). When their paths collide, they uncover a world of supernatural powers, ancient secrets, and creatures known as “Earth Ghosts”—ferocious beasts that can take human form.

What starts as a combative relationship gradually transforms into trust and romance as they face life-or-death situations together, ultimately joining forces as “Nanshan Hunters” to protect love and peace.

Star-Studded Cast

Dilraba Dilmurat returns as the badass heroine Nie Jiu Luo, showcasing both her action chops and emotional range. Chen Xingxu, fresh off his success in A Beautiful Lie, plays Yan Tuo with the perfect mix of mystery and charm.

The supporting cast includes Zhang Li as the villainous Lin Xi Rou, Zhang Yi Chi as Lv Xian, Tian Xiao Jie as Jiang Bai Chuan, and Dong Chang as Xing Shen. Directed by Tian Li and He Tan, the production promises high-quality visuals and compelling storytelling.
