AMD’s CEO Dr. Lisa Su will address ‘next-generation mobile and desktop PC innovations’ at Computex 2022

As we all know AMD is soon going to address everyone at its favourite Computex 2022 event and its CEO Dr. Lisa Su will be giving her keynote at the event in Taipei. While we were guessing what AMD will actually talk about during this event, it has recently confirmed it will discuss “AMD Advancing the High-Performance Computing Experience”.

So, while we are all curious to see what AMD has on cards for next-gen computing, including both CPUs, APUs and graphics cards, we could also get a confirmation on its launch time. As we already know both Intel and Nvidia are all-in for their next-gen 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors and GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards.

This is why AMD as a shareholding company needs to put up a strong showcase to assure its investors of its price hike. AMD has recently updated its Computex website with an invitation to the upcoming keynote on May 23:

Join us for the digital AMD CEO keynote at Computex 2022 as Dr. Lisa Su shares the AMD vision to advance the PC experience through next generation mobile and desktop PC innovations. What can we expect from Dr. Lisa Su’s Computex 2022 keynote?

As you see AMD is talking about sharing the company’s vision on ‘next-generation mobile and desktop PC innovations’, which makes us think about Ryzen 7000 which was already shown at CES 2022. However, we expect AMD to tell us more about the new AM5 platform with X670 and X670E chipsets while also talking about new CPUs that will support it.

Last year at this event AMD’s CEO Dr. Lisa Su unveiled Radeon RX 6000M series GPUs and even about FSR 1.0. So, we won’t be surprised to see AMD share some insights on upcoming Radeon 7000 series GPUs as well a launch soo soon cannot be expected realistically but surely AMD could give us more clarity about when these next-gen products will be available.

If you don’t know the Computex 2022 keynote from AMD will be held on May 23rd i.e. on Monday at 2 PM (GMT/UTC+8) i.e. 11:30 AM in India. We will bring all the updates of the keynote and the announcements at the show and we have attached the keynote link to watch as well.
