Allu Aravind on Allu Arjun’s Rise to Stardom

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Aravind expressed his excitement, saying, “Seeing my son become a hero is one thing, but watching him break records and create the biggest film in India is an entirely different level of joy. He has been truly blessed by the industry’s greats.”

The Secret Behind Pushpa 2’s Massive Success

Speaking about the film’s unparalleled reach, Aravind highlighted the importance of authenticity in storytelling. He explained, “When a film stays true to its roots and represents the essence of the land, it naturally resonates with audiences across the country. But if you start by trying to create a pan-India film without an organic connection, it won’t work.”

Aravind credited director Sukumar for shaping the film’s vision, noting that his deep friendship with Allu Arjun played a pivotal role in its development. “They sat together, brainstorming, and that’s how Pushpa 1 took shape. The idea was to create a rugged character that represented the struggles of the downtrodden, and that raw intensity struck a chord with audiences everywhere,” he said.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule serves as the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. Featuring Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, the film has grossed over ₹1,800 crore worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing Indian film ever.

Fans who missed the theatrical spectacle can now catch Pushpa 2: The Rule streaming on Netflix, bringing the high-octane action to screens worldwide.
